Bornival is a village in Walloon Brabant located a few kilometers west of the city of Nivelles to which is in the Walloon Region of Belgium. Its origins date back to the 10th century under the name of Porbais and Pourbais. There remains the entrance of a castle, called Castia . This is the farm that ceased operations in 1995.

Dinant (French pronunciation: [di.nɑ̃]) is a Walloon city and municipality located on the River Meuse, in the Belgian province of Namur. It lies 90 kilometres (56 mi) south-east of Brussels, 30 kilometres (19 mi) south-east of Charleroi and 30 kilometres (19 mi) south of Namur. Dinant is situated 20 kilometres (12 mi) north of the border with France.

The video shows a drive through the Meuse river valley, on one of its most spectacular section, in The Ardennes region of Belgium. We are driving through a beautiful deep valley landscape, the river making its way through the Ardennes Hills. There are some interesting villages, many well-known Abbeys nearby, and great views to the river and the hills around, making this drive a very pictuoresque one. Profondeville chemin de halage
Profondeville (en wallon Parfondveye) est une commune francophone de Belgique située en Région wallonne dans la province de Namur, ainsi qu’une localité où siège son administration.
En 1956 : D'argent à une croix dont le montant est de gueules, et la traverse d'azur. L'écu surmonté d'un heaume d'argent, grillé, colleté et liseré d'or, doublé et attaché de gueules, sommé d'une couronne à trois fleurons séparés par deux fleurons d'un module inférieur, aux lambrequins à dextre d'argent et de gueules, à senestre d'argent et d'azur. Cimier: un vol de gueules et d'azur. Supports: deux lévriers au naturel, colletés de gueules, bordés et bouclés d'or, tenant chacun une bannière aux armes de l'écu2.
En 1991 : D'argent à une croix dont le montant est de gueules et la traverse d'azur2.
Selon le site consulté, les armes de Profondeville ont été officiellement octroyées le 28 mai 1956 avec l'ornement extérieur et à nouveau octroyées sans ornement extérieur le 18 décembre 1991. Ces armes sont celles des derniers seigneurs de Profonedville, la famille Harscamp. Les armes de 1956 ont été considérées comme non appropriées pour la nouvelle commune issue de la fusion des communes de 1977.
Ces armes sont aussi utilisées, sans statut officiel, par la commune de Ede (Geldre, Pays-Bas) alors qu'aucun lien entre la famille Van Harscamp n'est connu ainsi que par la commune de Noville-les-Bois3.
Ces armoiries sont connues depuis le xviie siècle pour la branche belge et début xviiie siècle pour la branche néerlandaise. Cette famille est originaire de la région de Arnhem aux Pays-Bas et donna plusieurs bourgmestres à Utrecht3 et fut très influente dans l'actuelle province de Namur.

Giorno 1
Atterrato in serata all'aeroporto di Bruxelles abbiamo raggiunto la prima tappa del nostro itinerario in Belgio: Liegi.
Giorno 2
Dopo la visita alla città (una vera sopresa) ci siamo spostati a pochi chilometri, nei dintorni di Liegi, per ammirare il romanticissimo Château de Modave. Poi Parc des Topiaires, la cittaà più piccola del mondo, Durbuy ed infine l'arrivo nell'incantevole paese di Dinant, luogo natale di Adolf Sax, l'inventore dell'omonimo strumento musicale.
Giorno 3
Visita al paese e salita sulla cittadella di Dinant, dalla quale si gode di una vista davvero incredibile. A pochi chilometri da Dinant si trovano Les Jardines d'Annevoie, un luogo davvero rilassante dove trascorrere un paio d'ore senza pensare a nulla e ammirando i numerosi giochi d'acqua. Visita alla Brasserie Du Bocq, produttrice della celebre Blanche du Namur e poi via verso la tappa finale: la città di Namur, capitale della Vallonia.
Giorno 4
Visita alla città di Namur e rientro a casa! (sigh!)

De hele vaarroute van onze tocht door België:
Wij zijn Pieter en Marieke en sinds 2015 varen we met onze motorboot de Canicula door Nederland. Tijdens onze eerste vaartocht door Overijssel vallen we van de ene verbazing in de andere. Over de imposante bebouwing van Vollenhove, de massieve zeesluis van Blokzijl, het dijkdorp Kuinre. Geweldig! Inmiddels zijn we bijna heel Nederland door gevaren. Om iedereen te laten zien hoe mooi Nederland is vanaf het water, maken we video's van onze vaartochten en schrijven we artikelen over wat we allemaal tegenkomen onderweg. De Canicula is een St. Tropez cabincruiser van negen meter lang, tachtig centimeter diep en ruim twee meter hoog.
