Nieprzypadkowo Brandenburgia nazywana jest Toskanią Północy. Pełna lasów i jezior, zabytków z okresu gotyku, przypomina nam szczególnie Warmię i Mazury. Odwiedziliśmy północną część tego kraju związkowego a w nim Prenzlau, Lychen, Poczdam i Brandenburg an der Havel, który był pierwszą stolicą regionu.
Dużo piękna i ciekawostek, w miejscu, które jest tak blisko a wciąż tak mało znane.

In 1675, the Battle of Fehrbellin was fought there, in which the troops of Brandenburg-Prussia defeated those of the occupying Swedish Empire. In 1758 during the Seven Years' War Prussian and Swedish forces clashed at the Battle of Fehrbellin (1758). One of the most important skydiving dropzones of Germany is located at the local airport. By area, Fehrbellin is the second-largest rural municipality (Gemeinde) in Germany, trailing only Nuthe-Urstromtal. The Hakenberg Victory Column is a 36 metre tall monument with an observation deck at Hakenberg near Fehrbellin in Brandenburg, Germany. It was designed by Christian Daniel Rauch and built between 1875 and 1879. It commemorates the victory of Frederick William, Elector of Brandenburg, over the troops of occupying Sweden in the Battle of Fehrbellin (1675).
I am starting this walk at the Town Hall (Rathaus), then follow an simple route to the Evangelic Church of Fehrbellin. I will then drive towards the Hakenberg Victory Column where I end my walk.

Aus Richtung Döberitz nach Premnitz kommend, findet man linker Hand das Quartier Kiefernwäldchen eingebettet in einen gut gewachsenen Kiefernbestand. Die Wohnungen in den sanierten Mehrfamilienhäuser der WBG verfügen über schöne große Balkone, die sich auch zu Wintergärten umgestalten lassen. Von hier aus blickt man beschaulich in die grünen Höfe, auf die gepflegten Vorgärten und die dem Quartier seinen Namen gebenden Kieferngruppen. Mehrere Spielplätze laden die Jüngsten zum Spielspaß ein.
Die Oberschule Premnitz, ein Kindergarten und das Stadtzentrum mit verschiedenen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und dem Premnitzer Rathaus sind in wenigen Fußminuten erreichbar.
In der Gaststätte und Pension Siedlerstübchen im Quartier kann man den Tag gemütlich bei einem guten Wein oder einem kühlen Bier ausklingen lassen.

Co ciekawego jest w BRANDENBURGII? Sąsiedni land, naszym zdaniem najmniej odkryty przez Polaków. Kojarzy się z Berlinem a Berlin wcale do niego nie należy. Zjawiskowe pałace w Poczdamie, gotyckie miasteczka, niemieckie pojezierze, grody słowiańskie, piękne parki i ogrody oraz opuszczony kompleks szpitali zakaźnych, dziś zdziczałe tajemnicze miejsce. To właśnie ciekawostki, które pokazaliśmy w tym odcinku vloga.

5 Insider-Tipps aus Potsdam und Umgebung im deutschen Bundesland Brandenburg:
1. Schloss-Geheimtipp: Das prächtige Marmorpalais
Der Historiker und Stadtführer Kevin Kennedy zeigt mir erstaunliche Baujuwele abseits der Touristenmassen. Sein Schloss-Geheimtipp: das Marmorpalais. Im Video sehen Sie, wie idyllisch das Schloss vis-a-vis der nobelsten Wohngegend Berlins gelegen ist und welche innenarchitektonischen Schätze sich hier verbergen.
2. Baumkronenpfad über bizarre Ruinen mit Geschichte
Mein persönliches Highlight unserer Drehreise in Brandenburg ist der Baumkronenpfad Beelitz-Heilstätten. Ich spaziere über den Wipfeln eines verwunschenen Geländes, das ein einzigartiges Naturschauspiel und eine beeindruckende Zeitreise zugleich bietet. Ursprünglich war das Areal ab Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts eine bahnbrechende Lungenheilanstalt für Arbeiter. Im 2. Weltkrieg fiel es den Bomben zum Opfer. Während der DDR-Zeit war das Gelände russische Militärzone, und nach der Wende lockte es immer mehr Party-People, Graffiti- und andere Lebenskünstler an - und jede dieser Epochen hat hier sichtbare Spuren hinterlassen. Wir spazieren über den Steg und bestaunen einen Wald, der sich auf den Dachruinen des Haupthauses gebildet hat, lassen uns von Guides spannende Krankenhausgeschichten erzählen und die eigentümliche Stimmung auf uns wirken, die die halb verfallenen Gebäude mit ihren Graffitis und Überresten des Krankenhausbetriebs verströmen.
3. City-Trip mit dem Floß
Mit Ole Bemmann und seinem „Huckleberry Floß“ unternehme ich eine Potsdam-Tour auf die entschleunigte Art. „Innerhalb von 20 Minuten siehst Du hier eine Menge Schlösser und bekommst Ausblicke auf die Stadt, die Du vom Land aus nicht zu sehen bekommst“, erklärt „Mister Huckleberry“. Man kann die mit Elektromotor betriebenen Flöße führerscheinfrei stundenweise mieten oder für mehrtägige Fahrten mit Übernachtung buchen. Ein Griller wird auf Wunsch bereitgestellt. „Das ist Camping auf dem Wasser“, meint Ole. Wer’s bequemer mag, legt zum „Tanken“ bei einem der Restaurants in den Nebenflüssen und Seen der Havel an.
4. Potsdams bester Ausblick
Das Schloss Belvedere auf dem Pfingstberg bietet den besten Ausblick auf Potsdam. Wir sehen bei klarem Wetter sogar den Funkturm auf dem Alexanderplatz in Berlin. Das Renaissance-Imitat hätte unter Friedrich Wilhelm IV. viel größer werden sollen, Revolution und Geldnöte kamen dazwischen. Ein Ausflug auf den Pfingstberg lohnt sich auch wegen des gediegenen Restaurants gleich neben dem Schloss.
5. Eine Altstadt, die nicht alt ist
Wo sich zu DDR-Zeiten ein Parkplatz befand, ist sukzessive das alte Vorkriegs-Potsdam wieder erstanden: Stadtschloss, Nikolaikirche, Barberini-Palast – schaut aus wie aus der Barockzeit, ist aber kaum älter als zwei bis sechs Jahre. Im Barberini steckt modernste Technik: Der deutsche Software-Unternehmer und Mäzen Hasso Plattner hat hier ein hochmodernes Kunstmuseum mit historisierender Verkleidung realisiert. Wechselnde Ausstellungen zeigen ein breites Spektrum von Alten Meistern bis zeitgenössischen Werken, die Innenräume werden den jeweiligen Ausstellungen angepasst.

The FEX - Berln airport to city center with the airport express train
If you're traveling to Berlin and landing at the BER airport, you'll need to find a way to get to the city center. Fortunately, there are several public transportation options available, including the FEX (Flughafen-Express) train.
The FEX is a convenient and affordable option for getting from the airport to the city center. It departs from the airport every 30 minutes and takes 40 minutes to reach Berlin's main train station, Hauptbahnhof. From there, you can easily transfer to other trains, buses, or trams to get to your final destination.
In addition to the FEX, there are also several other train and bus options available, including the S-Bahn, RE (Regional-Express), and RB (Regionalbahn) trains, as well as buses. These options may take a bit longer (not all), but they also provide access to other areas of the city beyond the main train station.
No matter which public transportation option you choose, it's important to make sure you have a valid ticket. You can purchase tickets at the airport or at any train or bus station in the city. Remember to validate your ticket before boarding the train or bus, as there are fines for riding without a valid ticket.
