The reason to get 8 channel is if you want to have more than four cameras, either now or in the future. If you know you want just 4 channels you can save by ordering a four channel NVR.
When we ordered the recorder, we added 2 Terabyte memory which they installed. We see that we have about two weeks of data by leaving four cameras on all the time. Therefore we think you'll be fine by adding just 1 Terabyte memory at time of order.

Fireside RV Resort In Ponchatoula, LA
In this video we visited Fireside RV Resort in Ponchatoula, Louisiana around Mardi Gras. It is just south of the Robert exit off I-12 Interstate.
The park has become one of our favorite local stays, with easy access to the interstate.
Has a pool for kids and a separate pool for adults with a swim up bar. Also has a lazy river which is great for relaxing with a drink and friends.
Family atmosphere with friendly campers, even has a playground and a pond with Kayaks.

In this episode of our New Orleans travel vlog we are in the prime time of fun festival season at the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival to enjoy some Louisiana festival fun as we explore the festival grounds, food and music. The town of Ponchatoula, LA is about 52 minutes and 52 miles away from New Orleans. Louisiana festivals are notably famous for their great festival food and festival music. I’ve been to many Louisiana festivals and I've made many visits to the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival and I’m excited as this is my first strawberry festival since the Louisiana lockdowns lifted. I'm ready for a fun festival season and for some fun festival adventures.

Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival at Paul's Cafe & Ponchatoula Pub
In this episode we are continuing our Louisiana festival adventure during the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival. In our last episode the NOLA Gent needed to find some food but the long lines at the festival cancelled our original plans to showcase some of the vendor’s festival food. Fortunately there was still plenty of space inside Paul’s Café right where we first entered the Strawberry Festival. Paul’s Café was established back in 1976 and has been a popular restaurant with locals and visitors ever since. Paul’s is especially popular during the Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival where their strawberry daquiris are very popular. After finishing lunch and exploring the Strawberry Festival it was time to find a place to cool down and enjoy some more adult beverages and from previous visits to the area The Ponchatoula Pub was at the top of my list so we spent some quality time inside having some good times with some good people along with some nice beer.
