Dongtai City, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province, is located in the middle of the coast of Jiangsu Province and the northern wing of the Yangtze River Delta, between 120°07′ and 120°53′ East longitude and 32°33′ and 32°57′ North latitude, with a total area of 3,175.67 square kilometers. Dongtai city has a subtropical monsoonal maritime climate. As of 2019, Dongtai City has 14 towns and another 6 township-level units under its jurisdiction, with the municipal government located in Dongtai Town. According to the data of the seventh census, as of November 1, 2020, Dongtai has a resident population of 888,410.
Dongtai was known as Yan in ancient times, also known as Xixi and Dongting, etc. In 1987, the State Council approved the abolition of Dongtai as a county and the establishment of a city (at the county level). Dongtai has two railway stations, Dongtai Station (passenger and freight) and Fu'an Station (freight), and has been famous for producing salt since ancient times. Most of the people in Dongtai belong to the Jiangzhe people. Dongtai is a national garden city and an excellent tourist city in China, and since 2019, it has been awarded the titles of 2019 National Top 100 Counties and Cities for Comprehensive Strength and 2019 National Top 100 Counties and Cities for Green Development [3]. Dongtai City has a long history, with scenic spots such as Guoguo Zen Temple, Midas Temple, Yellow Sea Forest Park, and Dong Yong Seven Fairy Cultural Park. Among them, the legend of Dong Yong is listed as a national intangible cultural heritage.

This is a typical moment on the street in front of our hotel in Xuzhou, China taken around 8:30am on a Monday morning. I'm not sure why that guy is putting on his pants on the roof across the street.

探寻世界美味，从南吃到北，从白吃到黑，我是雪鱼。
牛肉拉面在很多地方都受欢迎，这次我来到江苏邳州，这里一家面馆已经经营27年了，中午饭点时候，顾客非常多。一碗面10元，可以加几片肉，浇上一勺牛骨汤，看着分量很足。如果觉得不够吃，还可以另外加肉，价钱随肉量多少而变，一般都是要一碗20元的肉。这家店的拉面就是现场制作，几个小伙子现场揉面，制作，丢进大锅里咕噜一会就熟了。旁边还有人负责切肉，看着桌面上的肉量，都会知道每天的生意有多么火爆。我点了10元的小碗面条，桌面上还有大蒜，好多人都是一口面条，一口肉，最后还要来一口蒜，这小生活简直了，飘飘欲仙啊。

Gloria Resort Xiao Nanhu Xuzhou
Located on an island in Yunlong Lake, the Gloria Resort Xiao Nanhu Xuzhou (Xuzhou Xiaonanhu Kailai Dujiajiudian) also offers views of nearby mountains. This Xuzhou hotel is a ten-minute drive from the city center. A 20-minute drive takes guests to Xuzhou Railway Station while a 40-minute drive takes guests to Xuzhou Guanyin Airport.

Those coming in from abroad can exchange currency 24-hours a day at the resort.
Guests can stay in shape at the hotel gym or go for a swim in the outdoor pool. Fishing, boating and other water sports are also available on the lake.
