Tübingen is currently running a pilot program – while almost everything is closed in the rest of the country, here museums, restaurants, and cinemas are open to visitors who have a recent, negative coronavirus test. Dhruv and Juli also pay a visit to the famous Blautopf springs not far from Tübingen, taking in the color of their beautiful, luminous blue waters.
Please note: Dhruv was in Tübingen at the start of April, 2021. The city’s coronavirus trial project – which amongst other things permitted retailers, and well as arts and culture venues to reopen – was ended on account of the high incidence rates in the county.

Tübingen / Germany is home to one of Europe’s oldest universities. Tübingen city is located in southwest Germany and is also famous for its nice well preserved old town along the Neckar river.
We start our walk just outside the city center, walk to the old town with the Stiftskirche St. Georg. We also see the ornately painted 15th-century City Hall with a functioning astronomical clock.
We see much of the old town and end our walk at the Neckar river. There are some type of punt boats Tübinger Stocherkahn are available for tours to enjoy the view of Tübingen from the river.

Pfullingen liegt zwischen Reutlingen und dem Schloss Lichtenstein in einem Tal der Schwäbischen Alb. We do sightseeing in the city of Pfullingen nearby to Reutlingen in a big valley of the Swabian Alps in South Germany.

Im Herzen Baden-Württembergs, am Albtrauf innerhalb des von der UNESCO ausgezeichneten Biosphärengebiets Schwäbische Alb liegend, ist Pfullingen eine der prägenden Städte im Landkreis Reutlingen.
Eingerahmt von Alb, Georgenberg und Schönberg liegt die Stadt am Eingang des oberen Echaztals. Die historische Innenstadt mit ihren Rathäusern, dem Marktplatz, der Kloster- und
der Martinskirche, der Pfullinger Hallen sowie der verschiedenen Museen ist sehenswert. Die Innenstadt wurde mit vielen ersten Bundes- und Landespreisen ausgezeichnet. Pfullingen ist ebenfalls bedeutender Wirtschaftsstandort und kann auf eine lange Tradition zurückblicken. Viele schöne Wanderwege, u.a. auch zum Pfullinger Wahrzeichen, dem »Schönbergturm«, sind bestens aus

Der Georgenberg ist ein perfekter Ort um den Jahreswechsel zu verbringen. Der kegelförmige ehem. Vulkan erhebt sich einsam in der Ebene auf 602m und bietet eine ungestörte 360° Rundumsicht.
Der Aufstieg und vor allem Abstieg ist nicht ganz einfach bei Nacht. Ist es feucht, wie an diesem Silvester, gleicht der steile Wanderpfad teils einem kl. Bach. Es ist finster, rutschig, steil, aber geil!
GEORGERBERG [[ Aussicht Pfullingen,Reutlingen Tag&nacht ]] UNSEREFREIZEIT
Der Georgenberg (602 m über NN) ist ein kegelförmiger Berg vulkanischen Ursprungs in der Mitte des deutschen Bundeslandes Baden-Württemberg. Er bildet im Süden der Stadt Reutlingen die Gemarkungsgrenze mit dem Westen der kleineren Nachbarstadt Pfullingen, wobei der Gipfel und größte Teil des Berges auf dem Gebiet Pfullingens liegt.
PFULLINGEN URSULABERG [[sagenweg]] UNSEREFREIZEIT
Der Sagenweg ist ein touristische Angebot in der Stadt Pfullingen.
Der Pfullinger Holzsägekünstler Billy Tröge hat den Sagenweg lebendig und phantasievoll umgesetzt. Der Weg, nimmt den Betrachter mit auf eine Wanderung voller Überraschungen, denn hinter jedem Baum könnte eine der Skulpturen darauf warten, entdeckt zu werden. So findet sich neben dem fast 2,5 m hohen Pelzmichel, der Pfullinger Variante des Knechts Rupprecht, dem schlafenden Graf, dem Pfullingen den Pfulben in seinem Wappen verdankt, oder den zierlichen Nachtfräulein auch die bekannteste Sagengestalt der Pfullinger, die Urschel wieder.
