Alessandro Island, Lake Perris
In this video my friends Rob and Kat came out to Lake Perris to go camping and kayaking. This is kinda my local lake so I grabbed my kayak and met up with them for a paddle out to Alessandro Island.
We'll be taking a 1 mile hike on the paved trail that goes around about half of the island, and we'll be keeping an eye out for some of the coyotes that inhabit the island. We'll also be taking a look at all the abandoned picnic area ruins.

Is this the most beautiful place in California?! This is a 3 night / 4 day backpacking trip in what I consider to be among the most beautiful places in the Eastern Sierra and even California for that matter. I'm joined by 3 of my friends as we start this adventure just a couple of days after the first snow of the season. It is absolutely stunning scenery from start to finish! Come along!

Hiking Terri Peak, Lake Perris SRA, Perris, CA.
Rarely do I go places that requires a fee. However, sometimes it needs to go that way. The State Park day use fee is $10, and I was determined to get my money's worth on the visit. That meant that the loop hike of Terri Peak would merely be my opening act. As an opening act, however, the views are a bit of a showstopper. The late in the season blooming flowers enhanced the experience quite a bit as well. Certainly a must do hike at Lake Perris!
