Girnar, also known as Girinagar or Revatak Parvata, is a group of mountains in the Junagadh District of Gujarat, India, situated near Junagadh. Is considered older than the Himalayas, Girnar, the mountain and its range are considered sacred.
Mount Girnar or Girnar Parvat has different charm during monsoon season. I can suggest anyone to visit during Girnar Junagadh during rainy season, you'll feel blessed.
In ancient time, because of volcanic eruption, it made total 5 peaks in mount girnar named,
1. Ambaji
2. Gorakhnath
3. Dattatreya
4. Ogahd Ansuya
5. Kalika
Mount Girnar is widely popular all over the India because sacred Pilgrims where thousands of Hindus and Jains devotees come everyday. During festival of Mahashivratri, millions of peoples are gathering in Girnar Fair. And during Diwali, peoples are joining for 5 days long holy Girnar Parikrama which is 36 kms long.
Gorakhnath, the heighest peak of Girnal Hills is the one on which the footprints of Gorakhnathji, the renowned saint are. Dattatreya peak has a small temple on the footprints of Guru Dattatreya.
There are total 10,000 steps to reach at top of the mountain (Guru Dattatreya Temple). If you coming to Ambaji temple through Ropeway than remaining 5000 steps will take 1.5 hours to time to reach Guru Dattatreya Temple.
Girnar Ropeway was developed by Usha Breco Ltd. in October 2020. One can reach Ambaji temple through Ropeway with ₹700 and returns back to Girnar Taleti.

Roopangarh Fort - Full tour around the Palace and Fortress
Roopangarh Fort is a former fortress and palace in the town of Roopangarh, Rajastan, India that is today a hotel. The fortress was originally built by, and named after, Maharaja Roop Singh of Kishangarh in 1648. It was sited at strategic point atop a hill to the north of Kishangarh controlling the important trade route to the Sambhar Salt Lake. Around the fort a substantial town grew up that became a centre for artisans and manufacturers. For a century it also served as the primary residence of the Maharajas of Kishangarh, and the capital of the state. An ornate palace was built next to the fortress.
In 1999 the Maharaja opened the fort as a hotel, but left the interior and exterior little changed from its time as a palace. It has 20 rooms, some of which are vast former royal suites.
We arrive at Roopangarh Fort by having flowers around our neck and a bracelet on our wrist.
We have some lunch and afterwards I waste no time in exploring the area when the others play cricket. I spend about two hours walking everywhere there is to go following every staircase and alley. I even climb to th top of the towers and have a great view of the whole surrounding area.

As we all know and our scriptures also mention that there are 8 people in the world who are the boon of immortality. One of these is Lord Hanuman. Hanumanji is immortal because of getting a boon from Lord Rama and Sita. It is believed that Kailash is a special place north of the mountain, where Lord Hanuman still resides. The description of Lord Hanuman's residence is found in many texts and mythologies.

According to the Puranas, in Kali Yuga Hanuman resides on the mountains of Gandhamadan. According to one legend, after crossing the Himwand at the time of his unknownness, Pandavas had reached Gandhamdan. Once Bhima Sahasrade reached the forest of Gandhamdan to take a lotus, where he saw Hanuman lying and then Hanuman had shattered the pride of Bhima.
Gandamadan Mountains and Forests
It is said in the scriptures that the Gandhamdan mountain is situated in the north of the Kailas Mountains. Maharishi Kashyap had austerity on this mountain. On this mountain there is residence of Gandharva, Kinnars, Apsaras and Siddha Rishis. It is considered impossible to reach the top of this mountain by any vehicle.
Where is the Gandhamdan mountain currently?
The Gandhamdan mountain is north of Kailash mountain of Himalayas. This mountain was in the territory of Kuber. One of the Gajadant Mountains in the four directions of Sumeru mountain was called Gandhamdan Mountain. Today the area is in the Tibetan area.
Another mountain by this name is also situated near Rameswaram, from which Hanumanji jumped to cross the sea.
Temple built on the Gandhamdan Mountains
There is also a temple on Gandhamdan Mountain, which contains idols of Lord Rama, Lakshman and Sita along with Lord Hanuman. Say, on this mountain, Lord Shriram used to plan for war by sitting with his monkey army. Many people say that there is also a footprint of Lord Rama on this mountain.
