Daman is one of the parts of union territory - Daman & Diu. Daman is less popular for tourist places but recently I visited this amazing place and realized that it is developing every day.
Daman is the capital city of the Indian union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. It is a municipal council situated in the Daman district of the union territory.
Daman Ganga River divides Daman into two parts - Nani-Daman (nani meaning small) and Moti-Daman (Moti meaning big). Despite its name, Nani-Daman is the larger of the two parts, while the old city is mainly in Moti-Daman. This holds most of the important entities like the major hospitals, supermarkets, and major residential areas. Vapi, Gujarat is the nearest city to Daman.

In this video, we are going to see the two best beautiful places in Gujarat, Valsad.
1. PARNERA HILL (Valsad)

- Parnera Hill is situated in Parnera town of Valsad district. It is located around 4 miles away from Valsad city and 200 miles away from Mumbai. The height of the hill from the ground is around 500 ft. It has two entries one from Atul and one from Parnera.
TEMPLES:
1 -Shree Maha Kali Mata Temple
2 - Shree Chandika, Shree Ambika, Shree Navdurga, Shree Sheetla Mata, and Hanumanji Temple
3 - Swayambhu Rameshwar Mahadev Temple
- Shree Maha Kali Mata temple is situated on the top of Parnera Hill. In the south direction of the fort, there is a big rock where a cave is situated. Shree Maha Kali Mata statue is inside the cave. There is also one archaeological temple on the hill, where goddesses Shree Chandika, Shree Ambika, Shree Navdurga, Shree Sheetla Mata statues are in the temple. There is also the temple of God Hanumanji in front of it. Swayambhu Rameshwar Mahadev temple is also located near this temple on the hill.
- Based on one folktale, five goddesses Shree Chandika, Shree Ambika, Shree Navdurga, Shree Sheetla, and Shree Kalika stayed with each other here. Because of some reason, Goddess Kalika became sad. Goddess Kalika was gone to the cave. Therefore, there are two temples on the hill. Every October, a huge fair is organized on Parnera Hill during Navratri.
2. TADKESHWAR MAHADEV MANDIR (Valsad)

- Tadkeshwar Mahadev temple is a Hindu temple. It is located near Abrama town in the Valsad district of the Indian state of Gujarat. The temple is on the bank of the Wanki river.
- The temple is more than 800 years old, one of the oldest in the Valsad District. It was designed to allow the sun to shine on the Shivlinga inside and has no ceiling. Therefore, it is known as Tadkeshwar. The length of the Shivlinga is approximately 6 to 8 ft.
On the occasions of the Maha Shivaratri festival and Shravan Month, a fair takes place nearby.

Valsad, also known as Bulsar, is a municipality in the Valsad district of the Indian state of Gujarat. This city has a collectorate, a district court, and a police headquarters with a historic prison.
Historically, Valsad was a small town covered with forest, with teak production as a major regional industry. It was a part of regional kingdom before colonial era. It was made a district during the Bombay Presidency era, and was governed under Bombay State during the colonial era, following independence (prior to the creation of the state of Gujarat). Today, Valsad is a town inhabited by Gujarati people. Gujarati is the primary language in and around the town.
The main religion followed in the region is Hinduism. Other minority religions include Islam, Christianity, Jainism, Zoroastrian, and Sikhism.
A tourist destination, the best time to visit Bulsar is in June–July, post-monsoon, when the roads in and around town are at their best.
Queen lead singer Freddie Mercury had family origins in Valsad, and his original family name (Bulsara) is derived from the former name of the city. Former Bollywood actresses Nirupa Roy and Bindu are also from Valsad.
