Beware of THIS in New Zealand!

Did you expect this in New Zealand? When you come to New Zealand, you'll be shocked to see gangs. Gangs in New Zealand are so unafraid of the Police that they ride obnoxiously loud motorcycles so you can hear them a mile away.

They even wear a uniform which includes a gang patch, so you know which gang they're from.

This is how open and obvious organised crime is in New Zealand. And for visitors like my wife, it's shocking.

If you stay away from them, they won't bug ya. But the reality is gangs are known for the drug trade, murder, theft, violence against women, and the list goes on.

There are numerous gangs in New Zealand, of varying criminality, organisation and ethnicity, including outlaw motorcycle gangs, street gangs and ethnically based gangs. A chapter of the Hells Angels motorcycle club was formed in Auckland in 1961, the first Hells Angels chapter outside the US.

Soon after, the Mongrel Mob formed in Hastings and Wellington, developing into a predominantly Māori and Pacific Islander gang and having the largest membership in the country.

Through the 1960s and 1970s, other outlaw motorcycle clubs and ethnically based gangs formed, including another predominantly Māori gang, Black Power (not related to the African-American movement), which grew to rival the Mongrel Mob. from Wikipedia.

Best Tips - Where to stay in Mount Cook — New Zealand Travel Vlog

We leave Mount Cook after spending two nights at the Aoraki Court Motel. We explain why we liked our accommodation so much, what to expect and why it’s important to bring provisions! We head off and stop off at one of the local Lavender Farms. Then just before our drive to Lake Tekapo, we’re able to do some drone filming, which is difficult to do in New Zealand due to their strict rules!

Papakura to Britomart 2023

From young I loved to ride on the train and see the countryside and when I went to College in UK I rode the train from London to Plymouth where I did a 3 years Graphic Design Course at the Plymouth College of Art and Design. Before I came back to Malaysia, I travelled the whole of Europe also by train. Train has a special destiny in my life and therefore, I am now doing a train ride journey from Papakura to Britomart which is a Southern Line of Auckland City. It is a full journey from one station to another station which gave recorded the whole journey sceneries and developments. Perhap one day we can look back in 5, 10 or 20 years later as a historical document to see what changes have taken place over the years.

Day trips from Auckland: The impressive Hunua Falls

One of the best day trips from Auckland, New Zealand. The Hunua Ranges provide a very extensive network of walking tracks and mountainbike tracks. The impressive Hunua Falls themselves make for a very pleasant outing and is very popular among locals. The best half day track is the Cossey Massey track, which combines the Hunua Falls with the Cossey Dam. While you walk through the Cossey Gorge you are likely to spot native trees and birds. The views are amazing and it is a great place to enjoy nature.

Part 2, Joy Ride - Manurewa to Papakura, South Auckland, New Zealand

This is a continuation of Part 1 Joy Ride - Manukau to Manurewa, South Auckland, New Zealand.

Just to give you a brief information about Papakura. Papakura is a suburb of Auckland, in northern New Zealand. It is located on the shores of the Pahurehure Inlet, approximately 32 kilometres south of the Auckland CBD. It is under the authority of the Auckland Council. The merging of City Council was changed when a new Prime Minister has elected, about 10 years ago.

An old highway, the Great South Road, runs through Papakura, forming its main street. The road was constructed during the New Zealand Wars to transport supplies to the Waikato campaign. It was guarded by armed constabulary and was a designated military road and now it runs from Papakura to Auckland CBD - return.

One of the most beautiful railways in the world has had one of its most successful summers on record. New Zealand's longest running passenger service, the #NorthernExplorer is a long distance scenic train service running between Auckland and Wellington, stopping at Palmerston North, Ohakune, National Park and Hamilton.

The journey through Tongariro National Park, with its three spectacular volcanic mountains – Tongariro, Ngāuruhoe and Ruapehu – is a highlight, a place of extremes and surprises, where snow-blanketed fields, ancient lava flows and dense beech forests can be seen side by side.
