Pandua is one of the oldest towns in the Hooghly district. There are many places you can visit during Pandua Tour.
Pandua Minar and Bari Mosque are situated near Melatala Ground. The mosque was constructed in 1477. The minar was constructed in the 13th Century.
Mahanad is a small town situated within 10 KMs from Pandua. You can visit Mahanad Kali temple there which was constructed by Shri Krishna Chandra Neogi in 1830. You can also visit Jateshwar Temple near Mahanad Bajaar area.
How to reach: Barddhaman Locals from Howrah and Sealdah stops at Pandua Station. Get down here and hire a toto to reach Melatala. From Pandua hospital more, you will get other conveniences.

(10)New digha,chandannagar park with multi faceted amusement facilities like Children's' Park with beautiful Rock Gardens, Colored Fountain, Herbal & Floral-Gardens, Boating in the adjacent lake,Toy Train, Micky-Mouse, varieties of Merry-go-rounds, Jumping Medok, Wonder House, Columbus etc.
This Park has internal audio-system, flowers garden and colorful lights and fountain, which add more beauty during evening hours.
Entry fee of Rs.10/- for adult and Rs.5/- for children. Picnic Spot rent is Rs.25/- for each group with maximum 25 persons and Cottage Rent is Rs.125/-
(9)Bandel, famous for its oldest church is around 43 km from Kolkata. The Portuguese Basilica was built in 1660 by Gomez de Soto. The Bandel Church was among the first public buildings to be erected by the East India Company after Kolkata became the effective capital of British India.
(8)Taraknath Temple is the prime attraction of Tarakeshwar village of Hooghly District. Taraknath Temple, dedicated to Lord Taraknath, was constructed in the year 1729 by Raja Bharamalla.
Taraknath Temple is considered among one of the 12 abodes of Lord Shiva or the Jyotirlinga temples in India. This temple also has minor shrines dedicated to Goddess Kali and Lord Lakshmi-Narayan. Some of the auspicious occasions at this temple are Sravan month, Maha Shivratri, Chaitra Sankranti, etc.
(7)Kamarpukur is the birthplace of SriRamakrishna Paramanhsa , the Great Saint and Guru of Swami Vivekananda. The Math and the temple has been constructed on the very spot where this great soul was born. Well maintained its an ideal place to visit during the winters.
(6)Aqua Marina is a very popular and famous Water Theme Park & Resorts.This is the major entertrainment place to visit, relax and enjoy a lot with its magnificent glory of having multiple water pool facilities , mixed culture, tradition and it's people. This is situated in the center location of historically famous places like, Bandel Church, the novelist Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's birth place Debanandapur, Chandannagar, Belur Moth and so many.Also,this spot is very near to Kolkata City.All the facilities like fooding , lodgeing,accomodation considering many water pools, danceing & musical water room,picnic spots, conference rooms, wedding arrangemen.

(5)Lahiri ashram Rajhat, a village of Hooghly district located in West Bengal. Rajhat is famous for Lahiri Temple, situated parallel to GT Road, behind Arabinda Petrol Pump on Bandel- Pandua connector road. The entry to the temple is restricted by a normal gate around which a typical bengali fair can be seen. A lovely and well maintained garden welcomes you as soon as you cross the gate. Taking left leads you to the main temple. There are various small temples around the main block. The entire premise houses different idols from Shiva, Vishnu,Krishna, Durga, Kali, Buddha to Christ and Mother Mary.
(4)Sabuj Deep is a well known picnic spot in Bengal.
Sabujdeep is an attractive winter picnic spot in Hooghly district of West Bengal. The place filled with greenery at the middle of water can refreshes you. The place is near Bolagarh and Somrabazar station at Hooghly. The place is at the meeting point of Behula and Hooghly River.
(3)Garh Mandaran is a village and a gram panchayat in Goghat II CD Block in Arambag subdivision of Hooghly district in the state of West Bengal, India.
Around the time when Bakhtiyar Khilji (1204–1206) came to Bengal, the region was divided into five parts – Rarh, Bagri, Vanga, Barendra, and Mithila. Vanga was further subdivided into three parts – Lakhanabati, Subarnagram and Saptagram. When the frontiers of Bengal were expanded during Mughal rule, there were three prominent administrative zones in the Saptagram area – Sirkar Satgaon, Sirkar Selimabad and Sirkar Mandaran.
The ruins of a fort at Gar Mandaran provided the setting for Bankim Chandra Chatterjee’s novel Durgeshnandini.
(2)KMDA Park is an ideal place for both adults and children. It is equipped with various sections such as Children's Park, boating complex, games and fun section, a restaurant and a guest house for the night stay. It is an ideal for a day out for the city dwellers and people from the nearby cities as well. The best time to see the park is the time of Jagdharti Puja.
KMDA Park, which is also known as Wonderland Park. The park is an ideal destination for the picnic, school trips, and family gatherings.

(1)Hooghly Imambara is a Shia Muslim congregation hall and mosque in Hooghly, West Bengal, India. The construction of the building was started by Muhammad Mohsin in 1841 and completed in 1861. The building is a two storied structure, with a tall clock tower over the entrance gate.Imambara is situated on the bank of River Ganga.

Pandua, Malda - West Bengal Tourism - Incredible India
Pandua is a ruined city in the Malda district of the Indian state of West Bengal. Pandua is now almost synonymously known as Adina, a small town located about 18 km North of Malda Town.
The city was probably founded by Sams-ud-Din Firoz Shah. In 1339, Ala-ud-Din Ali Shah transferred his capital from the nearby (and now ruined) town of Lakhnauti or Gaur (32 km from Pandua) to Pandua. Later, Haji Shamsuddin Iliyas Shah, the first independent Sultan of Bengal, made the city the capital of his (unified) Bengal Sultanate. However, Pandua's glory was short-lived. In 1453, the capital was transferred back to Gaur by Nasir-ud-Din Mahmud Shah, perhaps necessitated by a change in the course of the river on which Pandua stood.
The monuments of Pandua were built in the Bengal provincial style of the Indo-Islamic architecture. Pandua's most celebrated monument is the Jami Mosque or the Adina Mosque, which was described by James Fergusson as the finest example of Pathan architecture in existence, though some believe it to be a conversion of a temple. This great mosque (similar in plan to the great mosque at Damascus) was built by Sikandar Shah in 1369. Other important monuments of this city are the Eklakhi mausoleum (the mausoleum of Jala-ud-Din Muhammad Shah) and the Qutb Shahi Mosque (built in the memory of Sufi saint Nur Qutb-ul-Alam). The Eklakhi mausoleum is a single-domed square type of structure, whose fabric is of brick, occasionally interspersed with hornblende slabs collected from older Hindu monuments. Pandua is now (like Gaur) almost entirely given over to the wilderness.

The gateway to North Bengal, #Malda, with its rich history and heritage, is one of the most famous tourist destinations of West Bengal, nestled at the confluence of the Mahananda and Kalindi rivers. Malda town, with all its grace, adds to the beauty of Bengal. Malda was previously known as English Bazaar. It got that name from the English factory that was established here in 1771. From Malda, you can visit Gaur and Pandua. Gaur was the capital of three dynasties of ancient Bengal - the Buddhist Palas, the Hindu Senas and the Muslim Nawabs. Pandua, once the alternate seat of power to Gaur, has the third-largest concentration of Muslim monuments in Bengal. Historical monuments include the mosque Jami Masjid (1566) and the landmark Nimasari tower across the river. The Malda Museum has a great collection of the region's architectural and anthropological specimens. During the 18th century, Malda was the seat of prosperous cotton and silk industries. The area grows rice, jute, legumes, and oilseeds. Malda is also famous for its mangoes and mulberries.

Pandua (also spelt Pandooah) is a census town in Pandua CD Block in Hooghly District in the Indian State of West Bengal. It is a police station in Chinsurah Subdivision. It is 61 kilometres (38 mi) from Howrah Station and 21 kilometres (13 mi) from Bandel on the Howrah Bardhaman Main Line of Eastern Railway and is part of the Kolkata Suburban Railway system.The place is best known for its minar and the ruins of Pandu Raja's Palace where all important state ceremonies were held. The 13th century minar soars to a height of 125 feet.

মালদহ যেন ইতিহাস বইয়ের মতো, প্রতিটা অধ্যায়ে রয়েছে রাজা-রানির গল্প, যুদ্ধ-যুদ্ধ খেলা, কখনও বা সৃষ্টি, কখনও ধ্বংসের বিভীষিকা। শুধু গৌড়ই নয়, পাণ্ডুয়াও এক কালে ছিল বাংলার রাজধানী, আজ কেবল ছিন্নবীণা মতো পড়ে আছে প্রাচীন স্থাপত্যগুলিই। বর্তমানে গৌড় এবং পাণ্ডুয়া
নিয়ে গড়ে উঠেছে আজকের মালদহ।
মালদা ভ্রমণের এই পর্বে প্রথম দিনে আমরা ঘুরে দেখব গৌড়।
কী ভাবে যাবেন?
বন্দে ভারত, গৌড় এবং হাটে বাজারে এক্সপ্রেস সবচেয়ে ভাল অপশন। হাওড়া থেকে ৫:৫৫-র বন্দে ভারত এক্সপ্রেস ১০:৩০-এ মালদা টাউন স্টেশনে পৌঁছয়। এ ছাড়াও আগের দিন রাতে শিয়াদহ থেকে গৌড়, পদাতিক, হাটেবাজারে এক্সপ্রেস ধরতে পারেন।
স্টেশনে নেমে টোটোয় রথবাড়ি মোড়। সেখান থেকে গাড়িতে গৌড়, বা ট্রেকারে রামকেলি নেমে টোটোয় পুরো গৌড় ঘোরা যায়

কী ভাবে যাবেন?
পাণ্ডুয়া যেতে গেলে সবচেয়ে ভাল অপশন রথবাড়ি মোড় থেকে বাস। সরকারি, বেসরকারি দু'রকমেরই বাস ছাড়ে, সময় নেয় প্রায় ১ ঘণ্টা, ভাড়া ২০ টাকা।

Malda is like a history book in our childhood, where the chapters include Kings and Consorts, wars, sometimes there is glorious creation and sometimes notorious destruction. Not only Gour, Pandua was also the capital of Bengal Sultanate. Currently, today's Maldah is formed with Gaur and Pandua.
On the first day of the Maldah tour we will visit Gour.
How to reach:
Vande Bharat, Gour Express and Hate Bazare Express are the best options. Vande Bharat departs at 5:55 am from Howrah and arrives Malda Town station at 10.30 am.
From Malda Town station you need to take a toto to Rathbari More. Then you can reserve a car for Gour Tour. Otherwise you may take a Tracker to go to Ramkeli, then take a toto for the tour.
