Top 10 Best Places To Live In New Zealand (NEW) - Heaven On Earth

New Zealand is one of the world’s best places to live and retire, best place to raise your family. It has a very pleasant climate, great beaches, a wide variety of outdoor activities, cultural attractions, free health care
(for the most part), a good educational system, economic freedom, a lack of corruption and attractive, modern cities.
Known for the stunning landscapes featured in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings.
New Zealand is comprised of two big islands called North Island and South Island, plus numerous smaller islands.
It is located in the southwestern Pacific Ocean and is very geographically isolated.
Its nearest neighbors are Australia, which is 1242 miles to the northwest, and New Caledonia, Fiji and Tonga to the north.
The population of New Zealand is 4,334,000, the majority of whom are of European descent.
The largest minority are the native Maori. There are also a significant number of non-Maori Polynesians and Asians – especially in urban areas.
If you're thinking of moving to New Zealand, you'll need to decide where you're going to live.
Learn more about best places to live in New Zealand here, and decide where in the country you should settle.
Here're the 10 best places to live in New Zealand.

9. Nelson.
8. Selwyn.
7. Queenstown.
6. Christchurch.
5. Rotorua.
4. Auckland.

If you are moving to live in New Zealand and you’re really not sure where you want to settle,
Auckland can be a great place to begin, you can rent accommodation easily within the city

Whilst the nation is not vast or overpopulated, it does encompass such an impressive array of geographically
different regions that it would be a crime not to explore far more of the country than its leading city before you settle on a place in New Zealand to call home.

Reveal NZ was a 23 part video series in a campervan showing the ultimate New Zealand holiday. Though to be fair, we still had recommendations about some of the top things to do in New Zealand that we missed of the best places to visit that we either a) couldn't get to for what ever reason, b) regret not spending enough time at or c) didn't plan in at all — so you can benefit from that! More than just taking a motorhome around New Zealand, the videos were about how to travel New Zealand, the top tourist spots, the hidden local gems, incredible day trips, extreme activities, amazing accommodation and a spot of wining and dining... The series is about making you feel like you're along for the travels with us, so grab a drink of your poison, sit back and get ready for 5 weeks driving in a campervan hire from Auckland to The Catlins.

Day Trip to Feilding Farmers Market & Palmerston North, New Zealand – Filipina/Pinoy in New Zealand

On the way to Palmerston North, we did a short stop to Feilding to see the Farmers Market. Feilding is a small town in the Manawatu District of the North Island. This town has won the annual New Zealand’s Most Beautiful Town award several times.

Did you know that the Feilding town clock is the original from the old Post Office which was severely damaged in the 1942 earthquake?

Our visit to Feilding was mainly to see the Farmers Market. We also wanted to see the Coach Museum but unfortunately it did not open until the afternoon. So off we went to our next destination Palmerston North.

It is approximately a 30-minute drive from Feilding to Palmerston North also know as ‘Palmy.’ Palmerston North is the fourth largest city on New Zealand’s North Island. The city was named after Viscount Palmerston, a former British Prime Minister.

We started our visit to Palmy at the Square. The iconic clock tower overlooking the area is close to the War Memorial. Although we have been to Palmy before we did not have the time to explore. This time, it was nice to stroll around. The falling leaves scattered on the ground added a golden hue to an otherwise boring concrete path. The square has sculptures, duck pond, and nice landscaped areas for relaxing.

Rugby Museum - Did you know that rugby is New Zealand’s national sport? All Blacks is the national team currently ranked as one of the best international rugby team. To learn more about the most watched and talked about sport in New Zealand we visited the Rugby Museum.

The museum opened to the public in 1977 and was founded by John Sinclair. The collection includes hundreds of rugby memorabilia. We left the interactive area and continued our tour of the museum. The Rugby Museum is small and easy to navigate. The history of Rugby in New Zealand is arranged in a chronological order. More Rugby memorabilia can be found as we opened the cabinet drawers. We spent about an hour at the museum and it was well worth our time.

Palmerston North is an accessible day trip from Wellington. It is a compact city that can easily be explored by foot or by vehicle.

We hoped that you enjoyed watching this video. Please watch our other videos and consider subscribing (it is free). See you in our next video. Thank you all for watching. Maraming salamat po.
