Kaigal Waterfalls, is located around 130 Kms. from Bengaluru, 25 Kms. from Mulabagilu, 30 Kms. from Palamaner, 15 Kms from Venkatagiri Kota and 2 Kms. from Kaigal Village (which is situated on Krishnagiri - V Kota - Palamaner National Highway 219). This waterfalls is located within Koundinya Wildlife Forest (in Andhra Pradesh State)is good only during peak rainy season.
- How to reach:
From Bangalore: Travel towards Kolar highway till Mulbagal and take right for Kaigal Village. Post Mulbagal a flyover will come where take the left side service road instead of flyover. Then from below the flyover take right to reach Kaigal Village.
Kaigal village is situated on the Kuppam - Palamaner Highway. As you drive from Kuppam the village comes on the right site and the fall is about 2.5 kilometres from the village. There is a mud road leading to very close to the falls from where a short distance of walk will take you to the falls. Best season to visit is between June and October during the peak rain season. The falls is particularly popular picnic destination for people from surrounding areas.
