Wandern in der Pfalz - Auf den Pfaden der Kelten auf dem Donnersberg(2020, 4k)
Die Wanderung startet am Parkplatz der Zufahrtsstraße zum Donnersberg und geht auf dem Internationalen Wanderweg hoch auf den Keltenweg und vorbei an der Viereckschanze zum Ludwigsturm auf die Aussichtsplattform mit dem herrlichen Rundumaussicht über die Pfalz. Von dort dann vorbei am alten Fernsehturm zum Keltenhaus und weiter zum Kaiserstuhl mit dem höchsten Punkt der Pfalz(687 m) und Ausblick in den Norden. Dann weiter auf der alten Stadtmauer der Keltenstadt auf dem Donnersberg zum Nachbau eines Mauerstückes. Danach weiter auf dem Keltenweg(Rundweg von ca. 5 km) durch den Wald zum Bärenloch mit der Startrampe der Gleitschirm- und Drachenflieger und wieder zum Startpunkt am Parkplatz. Entfernung ca. 8 km, Dauer ca. 3 Std und +/- 230 Höhenmeter. GPS-Daten:
Bensheim an der Bergstrasse, Sehenswürdigkeiten
Wir beginnen unseren Besuch in Bensheim (rund 40.500 Einwohner - Hessen) am Bahnhof. Danach besuchen wir den Marktplatz mit Marktbrunnen, Museum, Kirche und einigen Fachwerkhäusern. Später schauen wir uns verschiedene Adelshöfe und das Rathaus an.

Sinzig, Sehenswürdigkeiten der Barbarossastadt - 4k
Bei unserem Besuch in Sinzig (rund 17.600 Einwohner - Rheinland-Pfalz) schauen wir uns zunächst das Denkmal für den einzigen deutschen Strassen-Weltmeister Rudi Altig an. Danach steht das Schloss, der Zehnthof, die katholische Pfarrkirche St. Peter und der Marktplatz mit dem Rathaus auf unserem Programm.

Kaiserslautern, Germany to N B48 to W B402 to S B270
This is a ride headed south taking L504 from Kaiserslautern, Germany south to hit B48 which is a awesome road. This is just about all B48 south to Bad Bergzabern, Germany. Enjoy. And as always, on my 2014 HD Breakout.
On this ride I started out at the house and went down EB37 for a while and then hit B48 North to B402 West and then B270 South back to K-Town. It was a nice ride and overall nice day. I did hit some rain but I somewhat expected that. I also saw a tractor get caught up in a tractor jam. Of course this in on my '14 HD Breakout.
