Салина Турда - одно из самых красивых мест Румынии и вы обязательно должны туда попасть.
Румыния – довольно большая и разнообразная страна и здесь есть что посмотреть, поэтому показать все интересное за одно видео точно не получится.

Первая остановка - *город Сибиу* , культурная столица Румынии. Прекрасный город для тех, кто мечтал перенестись на несколько веков назад, но с присущим современному времени комфортом, безопасностью и чистотой. Старый город полон старинными зданиями и духом средневековья.
*Алба Юлия* , город с самой красивой крепостью в Европе - не менее прекрасный город в центральной части Румынии. Один из самых красивых городов, которые однозначно рекомендую посетить.
Крепость Альба-Каролина - уникальнейшее строение, которое поразит вас своей красотой и мощью.
А неприметный, на первый взгляд, румынский городок Турда скрывает свои достопримечательности глубоко под землей. Но они достойны того, чтобы совершить путешествие в Трансильванию и спуститься в соляную шахту Салина Турда (Salina Turda).

Located in Southern Bărăgan Plain, in the Danube river basin, on Borcea Branch and to the Bulgarian border.
In Călărași, there are several beaches at the Danube. Călărași is also the point of crossing by boat to the resort Silistra in Bulgaria.
In Olteniţa, another city of the county is you will find a landmark of cultural interest – the Archaeological Museum of Civilization Gumelniţa.
Visit the ruins of Vicina Byzantine Citadel on the island Pacuiul lui Soare in Ostrov, whose construction dates back to the tenth century. In the vicinity of Călărași there are also the archaeological sites Grădiştea and Grădiştea Coșlogeni where they found evidences of life of Geto – Dacians in the region.
Part of Ialomița Pond (Balta Ialomița), belongs to Călăraşi county. It is a paradise for fishing enthusiasts and nature lovers. The part of it called Caiafele Moroiu is a natural reserve.

Rumunsko jsem měl na svém cestovatelském seznamu již dlouho a toto léto přišla zajímavá příležitost k návštěvě. Samozřejmě jsem svoje plány trochu přestřelil. Rád totiž na výlety létám a i tentokrát přišla zajímavá možnost z Vídně do Sibiu a zpět z Jasy (Iasi) přímo do Prahy.
Jenže už při plánování jsem zjistil, že bez zapůjčení auta, výlet bude značně komplikovaný a všechny plány se seznamy míst bude potřeba překopat. Z některých míst jsou spoje klidně i jen 1x denně. Tento fakt značně komplikuje možnost přijet do obce ten den a hned odpoledne odjet. Takže jsem zjistil, že touto cestou to po Rumunsku nepůjde. Hledal jsem tedy další možnost, jak projet co nejvíce z Rumunska, když autobusem je to téměř nemožné. Samozřejmě se nabízejí vlaky, jenže ani to v Rumunsku není lehké. Spojů je opět často málo, než by člověk potřeboval a jejich rychlost je velmi pomalá. Poslední možností už bylo jen stopování. Řekl jsem si super, ona vlastně ani jiná možnost není, protože na některá místa prostě spoj už ani nejezdí. Viz nástup do hor ve videu od času 2:46.
Jenže byla tu další komplikace. Moje zkušenost se stopování do té doby byla mizerná a říkal jsem si, že zkoušet to zrovna prakticky poprvé v Rumunsku, asi není úplně ideální nápad. Samozřejmě jiná možnost se nenašla, krome půjčení auta, takže jsem si mohl poprvé řádně zastopovat.
Celkově Rumunsko bylo super, až na to, když jsem sešel z hor a přišla brutální únava asi s nějakým drobným nachlazením. Naštěstí jsem vše přežil, jen jsem jeden den prakticky nepil pivo. Víte ale jak, to se prostě dá zvládnout. No a více už v mém videu z Rumunska.

On the day we went across the Danube it was august, high season, sunny and boiling hot. It had already been a long day and a long drive, so when we came to the river we felt quite tired. The whole process of going on board was kind of unbelievable..We were amazed to see how fast the crew coordinated the cars. Every time it seemed like it was impossible to take another one on board but the vehicles were coming and coming and coming until the ferry was absolutely jam-packed. There were a couple of centimeters between the cars and my daughter was trapped inside ours unable to open the door and go out. It looked like with all this cargo it was incredibly hard for the old ferries to make a move. As we were slowly going up the river we saw another ferry passing by loaded as much as ours. In the blistering heat we somehow managed to finish our journey and even enjoy this extraordinary crossing.
Anyway, I like this ferry crossing much more than the way across the bridge near Ruse city. Following the crossing the Romanian-Bulgarian border, a couple of kilometers after, we will drive to this city, along the other side of the Danube river.

O călătorie scurtă cu barca de la km 358 ,la km 354 ,cu vedere amplă a florei variate, specifice vegetației de luncă: perdele de salcie albă(salix alba),plop alb(popullus alba)plop negru(popullus nigra), Arinul negru (Alnus glutinosa) Frasinul (Fraxinus), arbuşti de alun, corn, tufişuri de ferigi, muri,vițăsalbatica,rogoz si lăcrămioare, brebenei și toporaşi,și a topografiei malului stâng al ostrovului Păcuiul lui Soare ,inclusiv ruinele cetății Vicina.
Păcuiul lui Soare este un ostrov pe Dunăre, localizat la 10 km în aval de localitatea Ostrov, județul Constanța.și 20 km de Călărași,jud.Călărași
Are o lungime de 8300m(8,3km),iar lățimea variază ,de la 50m în capătul nordic al insulei,la 900m(0,9km) la jumatatea insulei,până la 2200m(2,2km) în capătul sudic al insulei. La extremitatea sa nordică se află ruinele unei fortificații medievale, cetatea Vicina. Cetatea a fost construită între anii 972-976 de către militarii împăratului bizantin Ioan I Tzimiskes și locuită până în secolele 13-15
Acesta este al doilea sit din țară, ca mărime și potențial arheologic, după Sarmizegetusa
În anii 1950, aproximativ 25% din cetate era vizibilă, iar în anul 2011, se mai vedea 10-15% din cetate, din cauza eroziunii.
Imediat,în apropierea ruinelor cetății,pe malul Dunării este o plajă naturală cu nisip fin căutată de turiștii ocazionali, iubitori de călătorii și petrecerea timpului liber în aer liber.
Din cauza distanței mari față de localitățile Ostrov și Călărași în aceste locuri se poate ajunge numai cu barca.

In September, 2021, with Covid-19 pandemic control restrictions still making it hard to travel to most places, we made a (somewhat) last minute trip to Eastern Europe and spent nearly 2 weeks riding motorcycles through the beautiful landscapes and fascinating towns of Romania and Bulgaria.

We rented motorcycles from Romania Motorcycle Tours and spent 13 days riding around Romania and Bulgaria. We saw and did ALL the cool things (ok, that’s an exaggeration) including castles, medieval towns, high alpine twisty roads, gorgeous black sea beaches, the Danube river (over and over again), charming guesthouses, delicious local foods, mountain passes, and more.
We selected to do a ‘self-guided’ motorcycle tour because we wanted the ability to go at our own pace and customize our adventure to our specific needs. But that doesn’t mean we were necessarily ‘on our own.’ The excellent folks at Romania Motorcycle Tours provided our motorcycle rental, organized our custom itinerary, and booked our nightly accommodation. They checked in with us regularly over the course of our trip and when things didn’t go as planned (more on that later), were quick to make adjustments – leaving us to enjoy the travel without getting bogged down in logistics. We couldn’t have put together such an amazing and fun trip without them.
Out trip itinerary included:
Day 1: Bucharest, Romania
Day 2: Bucharest to Brasov (via Bran Castle)
Day 3: Brasov to Curtea De Arges (via the Transfagarasan Road)
Day 4: Curtea de Arges to Dubova (and the Danube River)
Day 5: Dubova to Hunedoara (and Corvin's Castle)
Day 6: Hateg to Sibiu: 300 KM (via the Transalpina Road)
Day 7: rest day in Sibiu old town
Day 8 : Sibiu to Dalnic (and Fagaras Citadel)
Day 9: Dalnic to Cetatuia
Day 10: Cetatuia to Amphora Vama Veche (via the Calarasi-Ostrov Ferry)
Day 11: Vama Veche to Balchik (Bulgarian Black Sea Coast!)
Day 12: Balchik to Silistra
Day 13: Silistra to Bucharest (via the Calarasi-Ostrov Ferry, again)
