The Caribbean in the Mediterranean is located about 200 kilometers from the Italian mainland and is the second largest Mediterranean island after Sicily. Together with its many small bays and offshore islands, Sardinia is home to countless dream beaches with fine, white sand and turquoise water along a coastline of about 1,850 kilometers. In the east lie popular resorts such as San Teodoro and Budoni, while the south impresses with Sardinia's capital Cagliari and the popular vacation regions of Villasimius and Costa Rei. The west of the island, on the other hand, is a bit quieter, for example on the Costa Verde, named after its lush vegetation and magnificent nature. L’isola della Sardegna è stata da sempre una delle mete più ambite dai turisti sia italiani sia stranieri e anche per quest’anno risulta essere ai primissimi posti come meta per vacanze da sogno. Perché? Rispondere a questa domanda sottolineando la bellezza del luogo non è sufficiente, perché questa terra è ancora di più.
La Sardegna sia nella zona a Nord che a Sud, offre alcune di quelle che sono conosciute in tutto il mondo come le spiagge più belle in assoluto. La sabbia è caraibica, l’acqua è trasparente e cristallina, ricca di pesci e con un paesaggio marino incredibile. Non a caso buona parte è riserva naturale. Le coste della Sardegna sono costituite da un alternarsi di spiaggette da sogno, alcune selvagge, altre ben attrezzate per adeguarsi alle esigenze di tutti. Le bellezze sono talmente tante che è possibile scoprirne una anche ogni giorno, restando ogni volta a bocca aperta. Il paesaggio è pulito e curato perché i sardi tengono molto alla loro terra. Alcune delle spiagge più belle sono per esempio Cala Mariolu nel Golfo di Orosei; Lu Impostu San Teodoro, Cala Granara nell'arcipelago della maddalena . Queste sono solo i nomi più rinomati, ma le spiagge meravigliose sono tantissime.

Orosei is a comune in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 140 kilometres northeast of Cagliari and about 30 kilometres east of Nuoro. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,148 and an area of 90.4 square kilometres (34.9 sq mi).
The municipality of Orosei contains the frazioni (subdivisions) Sos Alinos and Cala Liberotto. Orosei borders the following municipalities: Dorgali, Galtellì, Onifai, Siniscola. A beautiful city in the Province of Nuoro in the Italan region of Sardinia on the downstream of the Cedrino River giving the name to the Golfo di Orosei. Orosei is one of the most fascinating spots to visit over your holidays in east Sardinia. It’s located about 140 kilometers North East of Cagliari and 30 kilometers East of Nuoro.
As per the recent census of 31 December 2004, it had a population of about 6,148 and covering an average area of about 90.4 square kilometers. It’s scenically positioned at the gulf’s northern most point. It’s also surrounded by marble quarries and fruit orchards making Orosei an unsung treasure. Orosei borders the Dorgali, Galtelli, Onifai and Siniscola municipalities.

We stayed one week on the Italian Island of Sardegna at the small village Cala Gonone we rented a boat and did some beach hopping. and visit Cala Luna beach and Cala Sisine, Cala Mariolu, Cala Gabbiani, Cala Goloritze. We did a 1,5-hour hike to Cala Goloritze
The best way to go around is by a passenger boat the will drop you off on 3 different beaches or just one for 15 Euro.
A private boat for 5 pers will cost 180 ex gasoline
