The hotel is easy reachable with free carpark, near by Bruges and close to the coast. Cities such as Gent, Kortrijk or even Ostend are very easy to visit. Doorvaart Brugge, van Scheepsdale tot Steenbrugge
We horen soms klachten van (jacht) schippers over het varen langs Brugge... 's Morgens en 's avonds worden de bruggen niet bediend tijdens de verkeerspiek, voor de pleziervaart worden bruggen slechts één keer per uur geopend, en als er een boot van de andere kant komt, moet je wachten zodat de brug maar één keer open moet. Maar in de praktijk valt het best mee, en de brugbediener doet zijn best om een evenwicht te bewaren tussen vlot verkeer op de weg en het verkeer op het water. Wij deden er een dik anderhalf uur over van Scheepsdale brug tot de Steenbrugge brug. Film speelt op dubbele snelheid en ik heb twee keer 15 minuten weggeknipt (tijdens het versassen en tijdens het wachten op afvarend verkeer aan de Steenbrugge brug). Gebruik de onderteksten voor meer uitleg.
