BELGIUM | Trip Of A Lifetime
The multi-cultural political center of Europe, this small-but-important country lures visitors with its specialty beers, tantalizing chocolate, and famous diamonds, along with a rich history—and the old buildings that honor that. Belgium's location, squished between Germany and France, give it an often-outsized historical importance, with World War I and II having left notable marks. Bornival - Belgian Villages
Bornival is a village in Walloon Brabant located a few kilometers west of the city of Nivelles to which is in the Walloon Region of Belgium. Its origins date back to the 10th century under the name of Porbais and Pourbais. There remains the entrance of a castle, called Castia . This is the farm that ceased operations in 1995.

Nivelles (in Dutch Nijvel, in Walloon Nivele) is a French-speaking city in Belgium located in the Walloon Region in the province of Walloon Brabant, capital of the administrative and judicial district of Nivelles.
Nivelles is the capital of the Roman Païs de Brabant. On December 31, 2020, it had 29,067 inhabitants1, called Nivellois or sometimes Aclots.
Its latitude is 50 ° 35 'N, for a longitude of 4 ° 19' E and an altitude of 65 to 167 meters. An area of 6,060 hectares gives it a density of 429 inhabitants per square kilometer. It is located downstream from the surrounding countryside
Gastronomy
The local culinary specialties are the double and the famous tarte al djote, defended by the Confrérîye dèl Târte al Djote which awards quality labels each year to deserving artisans.
The city also produces its own beers:
L'Archiduc: ancestral amber beer, produced in 1888 by the Duvieusart brewery. This brewery was, at that time, one of the many in the city of Nivelles. It will be the last to cease its activities, in 1955, following a fire. The Archduke has since been relaunched by the Brotherhood of Jean de Nivelles which received the original recipe from the Duvieusart family.

Nivelles has an SNCB station and is served by several TEC Brabant wallon lines.
SNCB station
Nivelles station is a major station on line 124 connecting Charleroi to Brussels. It is intended to become a terminus station for the Brussels express network when it comes into operation. Currently, InterCity (IC) trains leave Nivelles every half hour (every hour on weekends) northward to Brussels and Antwerp, as well as southward to Charleroi. There are also omnibus trains (L) which run hourly (every half hour during rush hour) between Nivelles and Brussels. Many rush hour trains (P) also stop at Nivelles station.

Best Things to Do in Hainaut Province, Belgium [a complete guide to Hainaut]
In this video, we are exploring the activities available in the province of Hainaut, Belgium. The Hainaut Province is the most Westernmost part of Wallonia.
Belgium is a country known well for its culture, tradition, food and beer. At least for me, it is anyway.
In this video, we’ll be covering some of the more unusual things to do in Hainaut.
We head to the Ice Mountain Adventure Park, to try our hand at Indoor Skiing, on real snow!
We then find out what indoor skydiving is all about. I'm a bit of an adrenalin junkie, so on paper, this didn't sound overly exciting, but wow, was I wrong!
After, we try out Battle Karting. The battle kart can only be described as a cross between a regular go-kart mixed with Super Mario Kart! It takes place in electric karts which are controlled by sensors. These are linked to the game. You get to race around a track that’s projected onto the floor from above.
Next, we explore PASS Science Park, which is filled with interactive exhibits. It's a great place for any age, to discover science and learn something new.
Normally when you think of things to do in Belgium, it revolves around beer and the food scene. We were pleasantly surprised that there were so many other things to do.
It really is a destination that has something for everyone, from adrenaline junkies, somewhere to escape to go skiing, on real snow, some beautiful nature and a place to let out the inner child in you (on the Battle Kart field!).

Visit Bruges at Night with The Way Away (Belgium Travel Vlog) | Eileen Aldis Travel Channel
Bruges Belgium travel guide for night-time! We met up with our friends, Ashley and Josh, who are also travel vloggers! Their channel is called The Way Away. We first met them in Mexico when we started this nomadic adventure. It’s so cool that our paths crossed again around the world in Bruges of all places! They came to our Airbnb to hang out for a bit before we all headed out after dark for a Bruges night walking tour. This was a great way to see the city and get a lot of different information and insights about the local history and culture. Walking tours are such a great way to get yourself oriented in a new place. My favourite part of this particular tour (which I’ll link below) was hearing about the origins of phrases from the medieval period that we still use today. Things like ‘throwing money out of the window’ and ‘stinking rich’ and ’s***-faced.’ We also heard some ghost stories about hauntings around Bruges that persist today. After the tour we went back to our place and ordered pizza! It was a great chance to warm up and we had all worked up an appetite after walking around. It was so wonderful to hang out with the Way Away and hear all about the adventures they’ve had since we last saw them. We hope you enjoyed the night walking tour of Bruges Belgium!
