Things to do in Shizuoka, Japan - Shizuoka Day trip vlog

Shizuoka prefecture in Japan is a perfect place for a day trip! So much to do and places to visit in Shizuoka, but in this vlog, we show Asagiri Food Park, Makaino Farm, and Gotemba Premium Outlets.

We didn't plan or didn't even know about Asagiri Food Park, but it's such an amazing find. The whole Asagiri area is very beautiful and full of lush trees. You can fly your drone in some areas and they have a parachute landing area too!

Makaino Farm is such a fun place! Not only is it family friendly, it's also great for solo or couples. Many people bring their dogs too, with a 300yen (~$3) admission for your furbaby of course. There is a horse riding for kids, tractor tours, barn, feeding stations, archery, ATV rentals, and so much more! 2 hours really isn't enough.

Gotemba Premium Outlets is pretty far from the two places about but it's still in Shizuoka. We chose to stop here because it was on the way home and we wanted to check it out. There's so many stores in this outlet and on a clear day, you can see Mt. Fuji! This place is serious heaven for shoppers!

Looking forward to going back to Shizuoka and exploring a different area next time! So much to do, so little time :)

Japan Adventure 2021: The MOST Beautiful Prefecture in Japan (Yamanashi)

This was film in January 2020 before covid 19. Personally I found this place to be the most beautiful location I have been to so far in Japan. Yamanashi Prefecture is off to the side of Tokyo and Kanagawa. It is home to the Fuji Five Lake, Mount Fuji and the iconic Chureito Pagoda. Got to ride the Panorama Ropeway, see Mt. Fuji and a lot more. I really want to go there again. Hope you enjoy the majestic shots!

Summer in Japan ,Nirasaki City 2018

Japan is a beautiful country, in the Summer season we have a lot of festivals with food, dance, culture, fireworks! This is a small festival in Nirasaki City , Yamanashi state!

Yamanashi, Japan

Yamanashi Prefecture (山梨県, Yamanashi-ken) is located immediately west of Tokyo in the Chubu Region. The northern half of Mount Fuji and the Fuji five Lake region is located in Yamanashi Prefecture. The prefectural capital is Kofu.

The country's most iconic landmark. Mount Fuji (富士山, Fujisan) is 3776 meters Japan's highest mountain. It is not surprising that the nearly perfectly shaped volcano has been worshiped as a sacred mountain and experienced big popularity among artists and common people throughout the centuries.

The Fuji Five Lake (富士五湖, Fujigoko) region lies at the northern base of Mount Fuji about 1000 meters above sea level around the lakes Kawaguchiko, Saiko, Yamanakako, Shojiko, and Motosuko. It is one of the best places to view Mount Fuji from a close distance and a good base for climbing the mountain.

Among the lakes, Lake Kawaguchiko is the easiest to access and offers the most things to see and do for the average foreign traveler. The four other lakes are less developed than Lake Kawaguchiko and are not as easy to access by public transportation.

Top attractions:
- Kubota Museum: Excellent museum about the kimono artist.
- Lake Kawaguchi: Most easily accessible and interesting lake.
- Chureito Pagoda: Pagoda with Mount Fuji in the background.
