Een topvakantie in Nieuwpoort | Holiday Suites
Het mondaine Nieuwpoort is de parel van de Belgische kust. Het is de ideale bestemming om volledig tot rust te komen en ten volste te genieten van de natuur. Lange strandwandelingen, uitwaaien op het staketsel of vogels spotten in natuurreservaat ‘De Ijzermonding’… Nieuwpoort is puur genieten!
Nieuwpoort is een jonge en dynamische badplaats waar er van alles te beleven valt. De stad heeft een prachtig, uitgestrekt zandstrand en duinen, ideaal voor een mooie strandwandeling. Tijdens de zomer kan je er ook terecht in de gezellige beachbars, die zorgen voor de perfecte afkoeling tijdens de warme zomerdagen. Op het strand is er zelfs een speeldorp voor kinderen voorzien, plezier gegarandeerd!
Maar naast het strand en de zeedijk, heeft Nieuwpoort nog veel meer te bieden voor de wandelaars en de fietsers onder ons. Het natuurreservaat ‘De Ijzermonding’ is namelijk het meest idyllische plekje van Nieuwpoort. Je kan er urenlang genieten van de prachtige fauna en flora dankzij een uitgebreid netwerk van fiets- en wandelpaden. Nieuwpoort is natuurlijk ook een prachtige, historische stad met tal van monumenten en historische gebouwen. Het meest bekende monument is natuurlijk het Koning Albert I monument, maar ook de historische binnenstad is zeker een bezoekje waard!
Ook op cultureel vlak stelt Nieuwpoort niet teleur. Je kan er namelijk tal van Beaufort kunstwerken bewonderen, zoals ‘Le vent souffle où il veut’ van kunstenaar Daniel Buren. Maar la pièce de résistance is natuurlijk het kunstwerk ‘Searching for Utopia’, beter gekend als de gouden schildpad van Jan Fabre.
