This video is about a ski trip to Karuizawa. Prince Ski Resort is very close to Tokyo and a convenient ski resort. This gives you the opportunity to experience bullet train which takes you from Tokyo to Karuizawa in 65-80 mins and is fully covered by the Japan Rail Pass.
You can take ski lessons if you are beginner and enjoy the day trip. Nearby the resort is a park, Snowman Park which is suitable for the kids with many fun filled activities. After enjoying here, you can do a shopping at the famous Prince shopping plaza that has stylish complex of high-end designer-brand outlets, cafes & restaurants in a landscaped setting.

Japanese Onsen Ryokan Where You Can Bathe with Snow Monkeys????♨️ | Jigokudani Snow Monkey Park | ASMR
Snow Monkey Park is a park located in Nagano, Japan for observing wild Japanese monkeys. It is a tourist spot, known for its wild monkeys soaking in hot springs in winter????♨️
We stayed at a hot spring inn called Jigokudani Korakukan, which is the closest to Snow Monkey Park. The ryokan has open-air baths, and wild monkeys also come, so if you're lucky, you can bathe together! It is a very nice ryokan with a long history and a family atmosphere. I was very moved when I took a bath with a monkey. I have never seen monkeys so close!
Snow monkeys are famous, but not many people know that there are hot springs where you can bathe with wild monkeys. At Korakukan, you can enjoy the hot springs without staying overnight until 3:00 pm, so be sure to check it out. Don't forget your swimsuit!

If you're looking for a skiing or snowboarding day trip, look no further than Gala! It's located in the town of Yuzawa, Niigata and only a 74 minute bullet train (shinkansen) ride away from Tokyo station making it the most convenient and accessible ski resort in all of Japan. Japanese macaques at Jigokudani hotspring in Nagano have become notable for their winter visits to the spa.
Witnessing these snow monkeys enjoying a soak in the natural hot springs was a unique travel experience that I definitely wanted to share with you all. Japan is unique in experience and this experience you would not find anywhere else in the world.

This time, we're headed to Shiga Kogen, the largest ski resort in Japan, which is located about an hour away from Nagano station in the heart of the Joshinetsu National Park. It's a more Japanese style resort with more traditional style hotels throughout the valley. It's a huge resort with 18 different areas, over 50 ski lifts, and 80 km of amazing runs.

Staying at a Western-style Hotel with a Terrace in Japan | Longing House Karuizawa
Longing House is a hotel located in Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture. The Western-style building was very cute and the vegetable dishes were so delicious.
There are many types of hotels and you can choose the grade. You can't choose the room type, but you can request which room you want to stay at. We stayed in a Western-style room on the first floor. It was a very nice room with a terrace. This is one of the recommended hotels if you go to Karuizawa.
