सुल्ताना डाकू का किला नजीबाबाद!!!!
Hi Glovellers, I had heard many stories of Sultana dacoit in my childhood! Sultana was a brave bandit who was impossible to catch at the time! The British police at that time constantly tried to catch him. Sultana dacoit has its own history, even a film has been made on him. In 1972 director Muhammad Hussain made the film 'Sultana dacoit', in which Dara Singh played the main character. In this vlog, I visited his fort & interviewed local people about present state of affairs there. In addition to that, I also explored answers to the question whether he was a robinhood? (मैंने बचपन में सुल्ताना डाकू की कई कहानियाँ सुनी थीं! सुल्ताना एक बहादुर डाकू था जिसे उस समय पकड़ना असंभव था! ब्रिटिश पुलिस ने उस समय लगातार उसे पकड़ने की कोशिश की। सुल्ताना डकैत का अपना इतिहास है, यहां तक कि उस पर एक फिल्म भी बनाई गई है। 1972 में निर्देशक मुहम्मद हुसैन ने फिल्म 'सुल्ताना डाकू' बनाई, जिसमें दारा सिंह ने मुख्य किरदार निभाया। इस व्लॉग में, मैंने उनके किले का दौरा किया और वहां की मौजूदा स्थिति के बारे में स्थानीय लोगों का साक्षात्कार लिया। इसके अलावा, मैंने इस सवाल का जवाब भी खोजा कि कि क्या वह एक रोबिनहुड था?)

sultana fort or patthargarh fort (नजीबाबाद)- डांकूओ के पास इतना बड़ा किला होगा कभी सोचा नहीं था
बीसवीं सदी के पूर्वाद्ध में नजीबाबाद-कोटद्वार क्षेत्र में सुल्ताना डांकू का खौफ था. कोटद्वार से लेकर बिजनौर यूपी और कुमाऊं तक उसका राज चलता था. बताया जाता है कि सुल्ताना डाकू लूटने से पहले अपने आने की सूचना दे देता था, उसके बाद लूट करता था. लगभग चार सौ साल पूर्व नजीबाबाद में नवाब नजीबुद्दौला ने किला बनवाया था. बाद में इस पर सुलताना डाकू ने कब्जा कर लिया था.

Visit of Sultana Daku Fort (सुल्ताना डाकू) गरीबों का मसीहा - इण्डियाज रॉबिन हुड ll Najibabad (UP)
It is said about Sultana #Daku that as much as he was bold, he was as merciful as his heart. The Sultan considered himself a descendant of Maharana Pratap, the king of Mewar. He named his horse as Chetak and the dog as Rai Bahadur.
Sultana was born in Harthala village of Moradabad district. #Sultana became a dacoit at the age of 17. At the age of 22, Sultana's fear was such that people used to get scared by her name. It is said that Sultana could hide the knife in his mouth and use it when the time came.
There was a belief about the Sultana that he only robbed the rich and distributed the looted goods to the poor. The fear of Sultana spread from Uttar Pradesh to Punjab and Madhya Pradesh. The police were unsuccessful several times in their search for Sultana. It is said that Sultana used to inform about his arrival by sending letters before committing the robbery.
Sultana dacoit used to plunder especially the British. The fear of Sultana was such that at that time the British had formed a team of 300 soldiers to catch this dacoit. It also included a squad of 50 horsemen.
It is said that an English woman was in love with Sultana Daku. This is from the 1920s. Even though the heart of the #british woman had fallen on Sultana, but the heart of this dreaded robber used to beat for someone else.

It’s a special day today, me and butter going for walk around 10 kms out side Gaya. Since we have reach Gaya I have being thinking to unfold what is major around here and it makes what it is today.

The walk from Gaya to Dungeshwari is a little with traffic for around 4 kms or so but than after entering the village and crossing it the path becomes utterly beautiful and quite.

The Dungeshwari hills could be seen from the sight of walk now. The more we walked towards it the more beautiful it got. Finally after walking 10 kms me and butter reached Dungeshwari hills.

Dungeshwari hills are famous for the cave where Buddha lived for 6 years before attaining enlightenment and moving to bodh Gaya.

The hills also have a temple of goddess Dungeshwari inside the cave. After visiting the cave me and butter went for a little hike to explore a little more.

We watched the sunset from the top spot of the Dungeshwari hills to have the best view of the evening and even of whole Gaya one can say.
