Rakhigarhi village in haryana is home to the worlds largest and oldest Indus Valley Civilization archeological sites .
The credit goes to the recent excavation by Dr.Vasant Shinde ,VC of deccan college pune and his dedicated team of archaeologists .
We should be proud that we have this site in Haryana .
Here is a glimpse of the treasure found in the Rakhigarhi excavations. I took these rare pictures five years back and that time i was requested by Vasant Shinde sir to not to publish these pics as research work was underway.
Now since that work is over , I am sharing with you all.

Rakhigarhi|Vedic Civilization Rakhigarhi dna|Sarasvati river|Drishadvati river|Sheikhpura Kothi
Rakhigarhi is Located on the banks of now extinct Drishadvati river & between the Sarasvati river (Saraswati river) & Drishadvati river in in the region of Brahmavarta. Famous for Rakhigarhi dna & Rakhigarhi excavation site in Haryana. The city of Rakhigarhi is part of the Sarasvati-Indus civilization or more precisely the Sarasvati river civilization (Saraswati river) also known as the Vedic civilization instead of the misnomer of Indus valley civilization. Rakhigarhi is a far bigger city than Mohenjodaro & Harappan site in size & infact the biggest city of the Vedic Cilization excavated to date (incorrectly called as Indus valley civilization). It is estimated that the city of Rakhigarhi could be the capital of Bharata or the Kuru empire at one point of time. The lineage of this every empire of the Vedic people fought the Mahabharata later on. The city is part of the largest concentration of urban dwelling in the Sarasvati river (Saraswati river) & Drishadvati river area of Brahmavarta. This video plays its part in completely debunking the aryan invasion theory & indus valley civilization misnomer which in anycase has lost its lost its ground.
The the ancient ruins of Rakhigarhi are located 160 km from Delhi & a 45 min drive from the nearest town of Hansi. Most likely Rakhigarhi was a capital at some point of time of the Vedic people specifically the Kuru clan (whose lineage later fought the Mahbharata) before it was moved to Hastinapur. The city of Rakhigarhi is also the place where the Rakhigarhi dna studies were carried out. The site & other data completely demolishes the misnomer of indus valley civilization & aryan invasion or aryan migration theory. So there is no point of difference between indus valley civiliation or similarities between indus valley civilization & vedic civilization as they are the same.
Also a look at the Sheikhpura Kothi (Hotel) at Hansi which is a heritage property near Rakhigarhi. Sheikhpura Kothi is run by the WelcomHeritage group.

रानी तालाब जींद। Rani Talab Jind ।Jind Haryana । Rani Ka Talab Jind ।
जींद रियासत के राजा रघुबीर सिंह ने श्रीहरि कैलाश मंदिर यानि भूतेश्वर मंदिर का निर्माण अमृतसर के स्वर्ण मंदिर की तर्ज पर करवाया था।
- रघुबीर सिंह ने 1864 से 1880 तक राज किया था। 1887 में उनकी मृत्यु हो गई थी। रानी तालाब के निर्माण की सही तिथि किसी किताब में नहीं है।
- कहा जाता है राजा ने यहां एक सुरंग भी बनवाया था, जो तालाब को महल से जोड़ती थी। इसको बनाने के पीछे कारण ये था कि रानी स्नान कर लोगों की नजरों में आए बिना सीधे महल में जा सके।
- महारानी अपने महल से इस तालाब में सुरंग के रास्ते से नहाने और पूजा करने आती थी। इसी कारण इसे बाद में रानी तालाब कहा जाने लगा। इसे शाही परिवार का पूल भी कहा जाता था।
- सुरंग के अवशेष आज भी देखे जा सकते हैं। इस मंदिर में अन्य देवी देवताओं की भी कई मूर्तियां भी हैं।
- तालाब में भगवान शिव का मंदिर है जिसे कैलाश मंदिर और भूतेश्वर मंदिर भी कहा जाता है।
- इस मंदिर का नाम भूतेश्वर मंदिर इसलिए पड़ा, क्योंकि यह मंदिर भगवान शिव को समर्पित है, जिन्हें यहां भूतनाथ कहा जाता है। भूतनाथ, भूतों एवं आत्माओं के स्वामी हैं।
