नागौर शब्द की उत्पत्ति नाग दुर्ग से हुई है चौथी शताब्दी के आसपास नागाओं ने यहां पर एक किला बनवाया था जो कच्ची मिट्टी का बना हुआ था जिसे गांव में घर होते हैं उसी तरह का आगे चलकर धीरे-धीरे समय बीतता गया वैसे वैसे इसके अंदर रख रखाव करके और मेंटेनेंस करके जो पक्का बनवा दिया गया लेकिन नागाओं ने जो किला बनवाया था उसी से नागा दुर्ग नाम पड़ा और नागा दुर्ग से नागौर जगह का नाम पड़ा

नमस्कार दोस्तों मैं आपका दोस्त राजेश सैनी आप मेरे साथ इस वीडियो में नागौर का किला देखोगे और इस किले के बारे में आप संपूर्ण जानकारी जाना है दोस्तों आप मेरे साथ कंप्लीट राजस्थान की यात्रा कर रहे हो अभी मैं आपको नागौर जिला दिखा रहा हूं
राजस्थान के बाकी किलों की तरह ही ये भी ऊंची पहाड़ी की चोटी पर बना हुआ है। जिसे नागणा दुर्ग, नाग दुर्ग और अहिछत्रपुर दुर्ग जैसे अलग-अलग नामों से भी जाना जाता है। यह किला अपने खूबसूरत और अद्भुत बनावट के लिए मशहूर है। मिट्टी से बने इस किले का वर्णन महाभारत में भी सुनने को मिलता है। किले के बारे में कहा जाता है कि इसे अर्जुन ने जीता था और अपने गुरू द्रोणाचार्य को भेंट किया था।
किले के अंदर कई छोटे-बड़े खूबसूरत महल और छतरियां हैं। हाडी रानी, शीश महल और बादल ये तीन महल अपनी शानदार बनावट की वजह से दुनियाभर में मशहूर हैं। किले के अंदर राजपूताना शैली में बनी हुई सैनिकों की सुंदर छतरियां देखने को मिलेंगी। सपाट भूमि पर बने इस किले की दीवारें बहुत ऊंची और परिसर बहुत ही बड़ा है। किले के 6 मुख्य द्वार हैं। पहला प्रवेश द्वार लोहे और लकड़ी के नुकीले कीलों से मिलकर बना हैजो खासतौर से दुश्मनों से रक्षा करने के उद्देश्य से बनाया गया था। दूसरा प्रवेश द्वार बिचली पोल है, तीसरा कचहरी पोल, चौथा सूरज पोल, पांचवा धुरती पोल, छठा राज पोल। आखिरी द्वार को नागौर की न्यायपालिका के रूप में इस्तेमाल किया जाता था। यहां पास में ही मुगल शासक अकबर द्वारा बनाई गई एक मस्जिद और सूफी संत मोइनुद्दीन चिश्ती की दरगाह भी है।

Nagaur is a city in the state of Rajasthan located in the Nagaur district. The town was originally founded by a group of people called the Naga Kshatriyas. The place is also called as Khatwan. The town has a Muslim history as well. It was the center of invasion for raiding parties from Central Asian countries.
The Nagaur Fort is an important building and it is the main tourist attraction in the place. The fort is built with sandstone and has been the epicenter of many battles and skirmishes. The fort was built in the 2nd century and there are many exquisite temples and buildings inside the Nagaur Fort.
Another important place in the city is the Tarkeen Dargah. It is an important site for many Muslims in the area and the town has a strong community of Muslims. The town also has a Jain Temple that has been built from glass and this is an important and sacred center for many Jains in the area as well.
Some of the other tourist places in the area are Bansiwala Temple, Cenotaph of Amar Singh, Nath ki Chathri, Barli and Saji ki Tanka. The Khinsvar Fort is located around 50 km away and this 500 years old fort is also a worth visiting site. Nagaur fair, which is held every year, is the second largest cattle fair in India, where over 70,000 animals and their traders took part. Additionally, the Nagaur Sufi Music festival held during the month of February every year also draws lot of visitors.
Nagaur Fort in Jodhpur, Rajasthan
Nagaur Fort is a most important tourist attraction in Nagaur city. This 2th century fortress is famous for its large campus and high walls. Rebuilt in 12th century is famous for its high walls and huge campus. Constructed by Nagavanshis in 2nd century and later on renovated by Mohammed Bahlim, a Governor of the Ghaznivites. Nagaur fort has three entrance doors. First one was made of iron and wood spikes to guard against elephant charges and enemy attacks. ‘Beech Ka Pol’ is the second entrance and the last one is ‘Kacheri Pol’.
Nagaur fort is such a big fort that it has many palaces, fountains, temples, and beautiful gardens inside and visitors just vows by seeing it.
Also called as Ahhichatragarh Fort , Nagaur Fort was built by Mughal King Shahjahan and Akbar. The structure built by mughals like Mughal Garden and Mosques are in good condition till today.
There are number of palaces and other structure inside the Fort of which many are in ruins and some in good conditions. Some famous structures inside the fort are Hadi Rani Mahal, Bakhat Singh Palace, Deepak Mahal, Akbari Mahal, Amar Singh Mahal.

नागौर/जयपुर। राजस्थान के नागौर का किला एकमात्र ऐसा किला है, जिस पर दागे गए तोप के गोले किले को क्षति पहुंचाएं बिना ऊपर से निकल जाते हैं। यह राजस्थान का सबसे अच्छा सपाट भूमि पर बना किला है। अपनी ऊंची दीवारों और विशाल परिसर के लिए प्रसिद्ध है। ये किला नागौर शहर में स्थित एक प्रमुख और आकर्षक पर्यटन स्थल है। यह एक सुंदर रेतीला गढ़ है, जिसे चौथी सदी में बनाया गया था।
नाग वंशियों द्वारा निर्मित नागौर दुर्ग महाभारत कालीन अन्य बहुत से दुर्गों की भांति मिट्टी से बना था। तिथियां बदलती रही और यह भी काल के थपेड़ों को सहन करता हुआ बदलता रहा। आज नागौर दुर्ग का जो वर्तमान स्वरूप दिखाई देता है वह राजाधिराज बख्तसिंह के समय का प्रतीत होता है। जिसमें कुछ संरचनाएं अत्यंत पुरानी ओर कुछ उसके बाद की है। बताया जाता है कि 16वीं शताब्दी में किले का पत्थर से निर्माण शुरू हुआ। मिट्टी का बना था किला नागौर दुर्ग भारत के प्राचीन क्षत्रियों द्वारा बनाए गए दुर्गों में से एक है। ऐसा माना जाता है कि इस दुर्ग के मूल निर्माता नाग क्षत्रिय थे। नाग जाति महाभारत काल से भी कई हजार साल पुरानी थी। यह आर्यों की एक शाखा थी तथा इक्ष्वाकु वंश से किसी समय अलग हुई।
नागौर का किला वीरवर राव अमरसिंह राठौड़ के नाम से प्रसिद्ध है। कई युद्धों का गवाह यह किला बीते युग मे लड़े गए कई युद्धों का गवाह है। इस किले का निर्माण नागावंशियों के द्वारा किया गया था और बाद में किले को मोहम्मद बहलीन द्वारा पुनर्निर्मित करवाया गया।
किले के छह मुख्य प्रवेश द्वार हैं, पहला प्रवेश द्वार लोहे और लकड़ी के नुकीले कीलों से मिलकर बना है जो दुश्मनों और हाथियों के हमलों से रक्षा करने के उद्देश्य से बनाया गया था। दूसरा प्रवेश द्वार बिचली पोल है तीसरा कचहरी पोल, चौथा सूरज पोल, पांचवां धुरती पोल, छठा राज पोल है। आखिरी दरवाजे को प्राचीन काल में नागौर की न्यायपालिका के रूप में इस्तेमाल किया जाता था। इसके अलावा यहां राजा का दीवान ए आम में दरबार लगता था, जहां राजा लोगों की समस्याएं सुनते थे।
नागौर की सुंदरता यहां के पुराने किलों व छतरियों में है, जिसका उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण हमें नागौर में प्रवेश करते ही देखने को मिलता है। इस नगरी में प्रवेश करने के लिए तीन मुख्य द्वार है, जिनके नाम देहली द्वार, त्रिपोलिया द्वार तथा नकाश द्वार है। किले के भीतर भी छोटे-बड़े सुंदर महल व छतरियां हैं, जो हमें राजस्थान के गौरवशाली इतिहास में खीच ले जाते हैं।
किले के भीतर चार सुंदर पैलेस हाड़ी रानी महल, अकबरी महल, आभा महल व बख्तसिंह पैलस हैं, जो अपने सुंदर भित्ति चित्रों व स्थापत्य कला के कारण प्रसिद्ध हैं। इनके समीप ही एक शाहजहांनी मस्जिद है, जिसे मुगल शासक शाहजहां के समय में बनाया गया। इसके अलावा कुछ मजारें भी बनी हुई हैं। इसी के साथ ही किले के भीतर राजपूताना शैली में बनी हुई सैनिकों की सुंदर छतरियां भी हैं। किले में राधा कृष्ण, आराध्य देव गणेश, भैरवजी व नाहर माताजी का मंदिर है। गणेश मंदिर में हर बुधवार भक्तों की भीड़ रहती है। बड़ी तीज पर किले में राधा कृष्ण मंदिर में मेला भरता है व किले का शृंगार किया जाता है। राधा कृष्ण मंदिर के सामने विशाल मैदान में दरबार की ओर से खेलों व प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया जाता था। यहां हाथियों को रखा जाता था।
नागौर का किला जल संरक्षण का उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण है। बरसों पहले भी पूरे किले के पानी को एक स्थान पर संग्रहित कर रखे जाने की व्यवस्था थी। किले की मोटी-मोटी प्राचीरों के ऊपर इस प्रकार नालियों का निर्माण किया गया था कि सारा पानी बहकर एक के बाद एक कुएंनुमा खड्ढों से होता हुआ बावड़ियों में पहुंच जाता था। पूरे महल में जल प्रबंधन इस प्रकार था कि फाउण्टेन भी पानी से एक्टिवेट होतेे और उनका पानी भी बहकर वापस बावड़ियों में चला जाता। इसी प्रकार महल के विभिन्न भागों में पानी की आपूर्ति भी इन्हीं बावड़ियों से होती थी। निकटवर्ती चेनार गांव के शक्कर तालाब से पत्थर की नालियों से किले में पीने का पानी पहुंचाया जाता था। इसके अवशेष आज भी मौजूद हैं।
अकबर के नागौर प्रवास के दौरान किले में उनके लिए एक महल का निर्माण करवाया गया, जिसे अकबरी महल भी कहा जाता है। हमाम- इसके अलावा महल में रानियों के लिए विशाल स्नानागार व उनमें भित्तिचित्र भी देखते ही बनते हैं। दीपक महल- राजा महाराजा के समय में होने वाले आयोजनों में रोशनी की व्यवस्था के लिए सैकड़ों दीपक जलाए जाते थे। दीपक जलाए जाने के सूबत आज भी महल में मौजूद है |
