রকেট স্টিমারে নদী ভ্রমণ...
শত বছরের ঐতিহ্য প্যাডেল স্টিমার এবং সেইসাথে যুক্ত হওয়া হালের আধুনিক মধুমতি এবং বাঙালি স্টিমার গুলোতে চড়ে একই সাথে প্রায় ১৭-২০ টি নদীতে ভেসে বেড়ানোর অভিজ্ঞতা নিতে পারেন, যা বাংলাদেশ এ আর কোন জল বাহন এ নিয়মিত ট্রিপ এ সম্ভবপর নয় ।
বুড়িগঙ্গা, শীতলক্ষা, মেঘনা, ডাকাতিয়া,কীর্তনখোলা, সুগন্ধা, বিষখালী , গাবখান , সন্ধ্যা, কালিগঙ্গা, কচা, বলেশ্বর , পানগুছি, খাসিয়াখালী , মংলা , পশুর ও রুপসা নদীতে দাপটের সাথে প্রায় শত বছর ধরে চলছে পৃথিবীতে বিলুপ্ত প্রায় এই নৌযান গুলো । ঐতিহ্যময় বাহনে নিরাপদ নৌ ভ্রমন, সাথে সুস্বাদু খাবার ও চমৎকার সার্ভিস পাওয়া যায় , কালের সাক্ষী এই স্টীমার গুলো তে ।
সপ্তাহে ৫ দিন সন্ধ্যা ৬.৩০ মিনিট এ বি আই ডব্লিও টিসি এর রকেট সার্ভিস এ প্যাডেল স্টীমার গুলো ছেড়ে যাচ্ছে ঢাকা নদী বন্দর এর লালকুঠি ঘাট থেকে। অন্য দু দিন এম ভি বাঙালি ও এম ভি মধুমতি জাহাজ ছেড়ে যাচ্ছে।
স্টীমার গুলোর চলাচলের রুটঃ ঢাকা - চাঁদপুর - বরিশাল - ঝালকাঠি - কাউখালী - হুলারহাট - চরখালী - বড় মাছুয়া (মঠবাড়িয়া) - সান্ন্যাসি - মোড়লগঞ্জ । প্রতি বুধবার মংলা হয়ে খুলনা পর্যন্ত যায় ।

Bagerhat district is under Khulna Division of Bangladesh. It is in the South-western part of Bangladesh. Once it was under the Khalifabad Pargana.
