【くまモンポート八代】おっさんがくまモンを探し回る！【 Kumamon Port Yatsushiro / Kumamoto in Japan】
今回訪れた場所は、熊本県八代市にある
『くまモンポート八代』です。
こちらは、国際クルーズ船の受入れ拠点として、需要が高まり2020年3月に完成しました。
ターミナルの周りには、乗船客や観光客のおもてなしの場、また地域住民の憩いの場として
くまモンをテーマとした特色ある公園を併設しています。
広大な敷地には、国際旅客ターミナルや、大型バスも余裕で停められる駐車スペースや
約2.9ヘクタールもの「くまモンパーク」が広がっています。
そこにいるのは、合計84体のくまモン像！サイズや表情、ポーズもバラエティいろいろ。
日本庭園や竹林の道、多目的芝生広場など自然ゆたかなスポットが点在し
あちこちにくまモンのキュートな姿が見え隠れしています。
敷地内はとにかくだだっ広く開放感バツグンで、密になる心配もナシ。
フォトジェニックなスポットが盛りだくさんです。
The place I visited this time was Kumamon Port Yatsushiro in Yatsushiro City,
Kumamoto Prefecture.
This was completed in March 2020 as a base for accepting international cruise ships
due to growing demand. Around the terminal, there is a unique park with the theme of
Kumamon as a place of hospitality for passengers and tourists and a place of relaxation
for local residents. On the vast site, there is an international passenger terminal,
a parking space where large buses can be parked, and about 2.9 hectares of Kumamon Park.
There are a total of 84 Kumamon statues! Various sizes, facial expressions, and poses.
There are many natural spots such as Japanese gardens, bamboo forest roads, and multipurpose lawn plazas, and you can see and hide the cute appearance of Kumamon here and there.
The premises are very spacious and open, so you don't have to worry about getting dense.
There are plenty of photogenic spots.

Yanagiya Hompo (柳屋本舗)
Long-established Japanese confectionery producing and selling hand-kneaded, hand-baked 'Miki Monaka', which can only be found in Minamata.
The crispy monaka is filled with elegant, light red bean paste and is so popular that people come all the way from far away to buy it. Together with yokan, which is kneaded with great care every day, it is a well-known souvenir of Minamata. It is recommended to visit the shop as early as possible, as it often sells out.

水俣市チェリーライン（みなまたしちぇりーらいん）は、熊本県南西部の八代海に面した湯の児温泉から、海岸に沿って和田岬公園を経由し大崎鼻公園に至る道沿いに続く桜並木で、「日本さくら名所100選」に選定されています。チェリーラインの海岸部は、入り江が複雑に入り組んだリアス式海岸で、その沿岸に続く約５kmの道路に500本の桜が植えられ、紺碧の海と桜の見事なコントラストが楽しめます。
チェリーライン沿いにはいくつか公園もあり、桜と海を望むピクニックや散策も楽しめます。また、桜の開花期間の土日には「海上花見船」も運航され、海から眺めるひと味違ったお花見もできます。
チェリーラインの北側には「湯の児温泉」があり、海に面して旅館が14軒ほど建つ温泉街となっており、洞窟風呂やほら穴風呂などの露天風呂も楽しめます。
夕刻のチェリーラインもオススメです。天草諸島の手前に広がる八代海は、九州本土と天草諸島に囲まれた内海で、夏の夜に蜃気楼の一種である不知火(しらぬい)が見られ、別名「不知火海」とも呼ばれます。
水俣チェリーラインは「桜」と「海」と「日没」を見られる希少な場所です。チェリーラインの例年の桜の見頃は3月下旬で、日没後は海風もあり、かなり冷え込みます。そんな時はぜひ温泉に浸かって温まってください。

Cherry Line in Minamata City is located in the southwestern part of Kumamoto Prefecture, facing the sea with a view of the Amakusa Islands and has been selected as one of the 100 Best Places for Cherry Blossoms in Japan.
The coastal part of the Cherry Line is a deeply-indented coastline with intricate inlets and bays, and about 5 km of roads along the coastline are lined with 500 cherry trees, creating a beautiful contrast between the azure sea and the cherry blossoms.
There are several parks along the Cherry Line, where you can enjoy a picnic or a walk overlooking the cherry blossoms and the sea.
On weekends, during the cherry blossom season, you can take a cruise on a boat to see the cherry blossoms from the sea.
On the north side of the Cherry Line is Yunoko Onsen, a hot spring town with 14 inns facing the sea, where you can enjoy open-air baths such as the cave and cave baths.
The Cherry Line in the evening is also recommended. The Yatsushiro Sea, which spreads out in front of the Amakusa Islands, is an inland sea surrounded by the Kyushu mainland and the Amakusa Islands, where Shiranui, a type of mirage, can be seen at night in summer, and is also known as the Shiranui Sea.
The Minamata Cherry Line is a rare place where you can see cherry blossoms, the sea and the sunset.
The cherry blossoms at Cherry Line are usually at their best in late March, and it is quite cold after sunset due to the sea breeze.
At such times, please take a dip in the hot spring to warm up.

Horaku Manju (蜂楽饅頭)
Horaku Manju is a type of Imagawa-yaki produced and sold by the company of the same name and its group companies in Kumamoto Prefecture, Kyushu Region.
The head office is located in Minamata City in the south-western part of the same prefecture, but the group companies operate in all four prefectures of Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Miyazaki and Kagoshima.
The unique feature of Horaku Manju is said to be the unique sweetness achieved by kneading honey into the dough (it is necessary to check whether similar production methods exist in other regions).
This is also where the character for bee comes from in the name.

Eco Park Minamata (エコパーク水俣)
It stretches over 58 ha of reclaimed land. It includes Roadside Station Minamata and the beautiful Japanese garden Chikurin-en. On the coastline overlooking the elegantly named Koijishima Island, there is a 465 m long waterfront seawall where visitors can stroll while smelling the tides and hearing the sound of the waves. The promenade is an environmentally friendly construction and contains no preservatives of any kind.

日本全国でもっとも早く桜の開花が進む九州エリア。前編・後編の2回に分けて、九州の桜名所・お花見スポットを15ヶ所まとめてご紹介します！
後編では、九州南部の熊本県・宮崎県・鹿児島県にある桜名所を厳選して7つ取りあげます。

■熊本城 ( 熊本県・日本三名城 )
熊本城（くまもとじょう）は、熊本市の中心部にある城郭跡で、大阪城・名古屋城と並び「日本三名城」の一つに数えられ、国の「特別史跡」に指定されています。城内には約800本の桜が植えられており「日本さくら名所100選」にも選定されています。
■市房ダム湖 ( 熊本県・日本さくら名所100選 )
市房ダム（いちふさだむ）は、熊本県の南東部に位置し、「日本三大急流」である球磨川の源流に建設された多目的ダムで、湖畔には約2万本の桜が植えられており、「日本さくら名所100選」に選定されています。「日本三大急流」で知られる球磨川の源流部となります。
■人吉城・球磨川 ( 熊本県・日本100名城 )
人吉城（ひとよしじょう）は、熊本県南部の人吉市の中心部にあった城郭跡で、国の「史跡」に指定され、「日本百名城」の一つに数えられます。「日本三大急流」で知られる球磨川の南側に位置し、石垣の上からは人吉市街と共に球磨川を見下ろせます。
球磨川は熊本県最大の河川で、長大な流域の所々に桜並木も見られます。また「球磨川下り」の遊覧船も名物となっています。土日には「SL人吉」から車窓のお花見も楽しめます。
■水俣市チェリーライン ( 熊本県・日本さくら名所100選 )
水俣市チェリーライン（みなまたしちぇりーらいん）は、熊本県南西部の八代海に面した湯の児温泉から、海岸に沿って和田岬公園を経由し大崎鼻公園に至る道沿いに続く桜並木で、「日本さくら名所100選」に選定されています。
■母智丘公園 ( 宮崎県・日本さくら名所100選 )
母智丘公園（もちおこうえん）は、宮崎県都城市の郊外にある都市公園で、「日本さくら名所100選」に選定されています。母智丘（もちお）と呼ばれる丘陵地に母智丘神社が鎮座し、その麓から東側へ約2km続く桜並木のトンネルが見事です。「日本百名山」である霧島連山・高千穂峰も見え、雄大な山岳風景を見ながらのお花見散策も楽しめます。
■忠元公園 ( 鹿児島県・日本さくら名所100選 )
忠元公園（ただもとこうえん）は、鹿児島県北部の伊佐市にある都市公園で、桜の名所として知られており、「日本さくら名所100選」に選定されています。公園の中央にあるグランドを桜並木が囲んでおり、長さは2km、約1,000本の桜が植えられています。
■曽木の滝 ( 鹿児島県・東洋のナイアガラ )
曽木の滝（そぎのたき）は、鹿児島県北部を流れる川内川（せんだいがわ）にかかり、滝幅210ｍ、落差12ｍのスケールの大きな滝です。曽木の滝は「東洋のナイアガラ」とも呼ばれ、「平成百景」でも上位に選ばれるなど人気が高く、一帯は自然公園として整備されています。

九州 熊本県 熊本市 周辺の居酒屋 ラーメン屋 などグルメや観光スポットを散策観光旅行。
熊本城 周辺 商店街 繁華街 下通アーケード も観光してきました。
2023年1月2日から5泊6日の日程で九州を旅行しました。
駅やホテル近くはもちろん繫華街などで観光&飲み歩きをしてきました。
今回はその5日目の熊本編の後半になります。

愛媛県 「城と桜」4選！ （松山城・湯築城・宇和島城・今治城） ( ヒーリング音楽 ) / Top 4 Castles and Cherry Blossoms in Ehime!【日本の桜名所】
「松山城」や「宇和島城」など、愛媛県の「お城と桜」の風景を満喫できる桜名所を4つご紹介します！
松山城（まつやまじょう）は、松山市の中心部にある城郭跡で、敷地一帯は国の「史跡」に指定されており、「日本100名城」と「日本さくら名所100選」の両方に選ばれた、愛媛県を代表する桜名所です。
松山城は江戸時代から残る「現存12天守」の一つで、松山城の本丸は標高132mの勝山の山頂にあり、ロープウェイやリフトで気軽に登っていけるほか、森林浴を楽しみながら徒歩でも登っていけます。
天守は国の「重要文化財」に指定されており、大天守と小天守・隅櫓を渡り廊下で結んだ構造で、攻守の機能に優れた日本一の連立式天守と言われます。天守のほかにも、櫓や門など貴重な遺構が多く現存し、当時の姿を今に伝えます
道後公園（どうごこうえん）は、三千年もの歴史をもつといわれる「道後温泉」に隣接した公園で、中世の城郭であった「湯築城跡」に整備された公園です。湯築城（ゆづきじょう）は、国の「史跡」に指定されており、「日本100名城」の一つに数えられます。
松山地方気象台は、道後公園の桜を標本木に指定し、愛媛県の桜前線の目安とされる桜名所です。
近年の発掘調査で、当時の遺構や遺物が多数出土し、中世の武家屋敷や土塀が復元されています。また、武家屋敷の内部には遺物や資料も展示されています。
公園中央部の丘陵の上には展望台が設置されており、松山城や松山市街、瀬戸内の島々まで一望できます。100名城から100名城を望める、数少ない場所です。
宇和島城（うわじまじょう）は、愛媛県南西部の宇和島市にあった城郭跡で、江戸時代から残る「現存12天守」の一つであり、国の「史跡」に指定され、「日本100名城」の一つにも数えられます。
宇和島城は「築城名人」として知られる藤堂高虎が築いた城で、「空角の経始」と呼ばれる縄張りを採用しており、五角形の縄張りを四角形と錯覚させる設計で、実際に幕府が送り込んだ隠密も欺かれました。
その後、宇和島には伊達氏が入封し、現存する天守も伊達氏が改修したものです。
今治城（いまばりじょう）は、愛媛県北部の今治市にあった城郭跡で、香川県の高松城、大分県の中津城と共に「日本三大水城」の一つに数えられ、「日本100名城」にも選定されています。
今治城も「築城名人」として知られる藤堂高虎が築いた城で、関ヶ原の合戦にて、徳川軍の先陣で活躍した功により、伊予半国を与えられ、城郭と城下町を整備しました。
今治城は三重の堀に海水を引き入れた特異な構造で、当時は海から堀へ直接船で入ることができるなど、海上交通の要所今治らしく海を最大限に活用しました。
今治城の現在の天守は1980年に再建されたもので、その後も門や櫓の復元が進められています。

Here are four cherry blossom viewing spots in Ehime Prefecture, including Matsuyama Castle and Uwajima Castle, where you can fully enjoy the scenery of castles and cherry blossoms!
Matsuyama Castle is a castle ruin located in the center of Matsuyama City. The entire site is designated as a national historic site and is one of Ehime Prefecture's representative cherry blossom viewing spots, having been selected as both one of the 100 best castles in Japan and one of the 100 best cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan.
Matsuyama Castle is one of the 12 existing castle towers remaining from the Edo period. The castle tower is designated as a national Important Cultural Property and is said to be the best interconnecting tower in Japan with excellent offensive and defensive functions, consisting of a large tower, a small tower, and a corner turret connected by a corridor. In addition to the castle tower, there are many other valuable remains, such as turrets and gates, which show what the castle looked like in its original state.
Dogo Park is a park adjacent to Dogo Hot Springs, which is said to have a history of 3,000 years, and was developed on the site of Yuzuki Castle, which was a medieval castle. Yuzuki Castle is designated as a national Historic Site and is one of the 100 Best Castles in Japan.
Recent excavations have unearthed many remains and artifacts from that period, and a medieval samurai residence and earthen walls have been reconstructed.
The observatory at the top of the hill in the center of the park offers a panoramic view of Matsuyama Castle, the city of Matsuyama, and the islands of the Seto Inland Sea, making it one of the few places where you can see the 100 famous castles from the top of the 100 famous castles.
Uwajima Castle was located in Uwajima City in southwestern Ehime Prefecture. It is one of the 12 remaining castle towers from the Edo period, designated as a national Historic Site and one of the 100 Great Castles of Japan.
Uwajima Castle was built by Takatora Todo, known as a master builder of castles.
Later, the Date clan settled in Uwajima, and the current castle tower was renovated by the Date clan.
Imabari Castle, located in Imabari City in northern Ehime Prefecture, is one of the Three Great Water Castles of Japan along with Takamatsu Castle in Kagawa Prefecture and Nakatsu Castle in Oita Prefecture, and has been selected as one of the 100 Great Castles of Japan.
Imabari Castle was also built by Takatora Todo, known as a master builder of castles.
Imabari Castle had a unique structure with seawater drawn into the triple moat.
The present tower of Imabari Castle was reconstructed in 1980, and the restoration of the gates and turrets has been underway since then.

SUP in Japan, Kumamoto. 熊本県水俣市。SUPで夕焼けを楽しむ。自然のライフスタイル. Встреча заката на SUP, Япония, Кюсю.
В этот раз направились покорять очередной кусочек моря в Префектуре Кумамото, город Минамата. Маленький, скрытый в горах и на берегу моря, городок, в котором было несколько атмосферных и достаточно уникальных по дизайну традиционных японских гостиниц - рёкан. Но, к сожалению, думаю, из-за короны плюс недавнего наводнения посетителей очень мало, в основном местные жители приезжают прогуляться по островку и порыбачить. Ну и заодно заглянуть в горячие ванны, которые всегда являются частью таких гостиниц.
Достаточно милый и уютный городок, но вот как обычно в таких небольших горшках, не особо стараются обустроить их современной инфраструктурой. Поэтому даже конбини (24 часовые магазинчики) в 15 минутах езды на машине. Не говорю уж про автобус. Хотя на удивление проезжая через горы, было достаточно много прогуливающихся пешком япошечек. Куда они и от куда гуляют - не понятно, конечно ????
В тот день было достаточно ветрено, поэтому слишком далеко от берега отплыть не возможно было, кружили вокруг островка. Но нас повезло с видом и до слез продирающего красивого заката. И было достаточно тепло, так что и искупаться вышло.
