This is a quick Tour of Martyrs Shrine of Midland, Ontario. This is the only Canadian National Shrine outside of the city of Quebec.
Built in 1926, it welcomes thousands of visitors/pilgrims every year. The ground of this church is home to many Ethnic Shrines. Tamil, Italian, Croatian and Filipino are some of the few. The Tamil Shrine hosts the largest gathering of Tamil Christians outside of Sri Lanka.
A fully day is required so that you can take enjoy this Church.

It is the main town of the southern Georgian Bay area. In the summer months, the area's population grows to over 100,000 with seasonal visitors to more than 8,000 cottages, resort hotels, provincial and national parks in the surrounding municipalities of Penetanguishene, Tiny and Tay.

In this video, I'm taking you with me on my birthday surprise during the pandemic! As you know, traveling right now is pretty much out of the question with the pandemic happening. But also because I wouldn't want to put any of my loved ones at risk or be at risk myself. But somehow Jerico managed to give me that getaway without needing to board a plane or worry. I have an incredible boyfriend — I know. I'm so incredibly thankful that Jerico and I found each other and that his big and thoughtful heart is mine. ????

The Martyrs' Shrine is the National Shrine to the Canadian Martyrs. The Shrine honours the eight Jesuit Saints who lived, worked, and died here over 350 years .Construction on the shrine was completed by the winter of 1925, and the shrine was formally consecrated on June 25, 1926 by Cardinal William Henry O'Connell of Boston, Massachusetts.
There is beauty everywhere here , from the park trails that meander around the grounds to the interior of the church .
