10 Best place to visit in Micco United States

Yoholo Micco Falls (Bonus: Waterfalls of the Wiregrass)

We pause for a quick bonus waterfall in Eufaula, Alabama, as @TwoEggTV continues to search for the best Waterfalls of the Wiregrass. This pretty little fall is on Yoholo Micco, the Creek Indian Trail, a very nice rails-to-trails project that starts in downtown Eufaula and runs 3.2 miles across Lake Eufaula to end at Town Creek Park on the lakeshore north of town. If you like waterfalls, hiking or biking, outdoors, nature, birding, and history, you will love this beautiful paved trail.
The waterfall is small, only about 10-feet, and was running a bit slow on the day we visited, but the spring flowers were in bloom and we definitely enjoyed our visit. Don't miss the giant bass statue near the beginning of the trail and be sure to check out the Creek Heritage Trail exhibit to learn more about Native American history in the area too.

In today's video, we head to a Publix grocery store to show you what they are like. We needed a few things from Publix and have said we will film sometime so we decided to film this time! Before we lived in Florida, we didn't have Publix near us or know really what Publix had to offer. This one is an older style Publix but the updated ones can be really nice and organized. They usually have some sort of deal happening each day/week and a lot of times they have a BOGO. Remember, become a free member and put your number in when you check out. ℹ️ About the Episode:
Checklists are critical, especially when you're new. It's easy to fall out of the habit of following a checklist when you get experience. Kudos to those who have mastered the art of actually having the checklist with you when you need it! In our case, we're strict when it comes to the process. We follow the same steps in the same order every time, no matter what. In this episode, we start out in Titusville, FL, near the Kennedy Space Center, before making our way down to Sebastian Inlet State Park. We made these reservations months ago and couldn't believe that we were able to keep them between the first and second Crew-6 launches. Sometimes these things just line up!
Sebastian Inlet State Park was nice, but we liked Long Point (in the same area) just a tad bit more. The entire coastline is incredible. The only drawback was the no-see-ums that pretty much ate us alive! We noticed many outdoor sitting tents, and if we traveled in Florida often, we'd get one for sure.

▶︎ Calling all golfers, boaters & fishermen
Great park for anyone wanting to catch a round of golf while camping. Sequoyah is very near Tahlequah, Oklahoma so there’s easy access to food and other shopping needs on a trip. The main pro for Sequoyah is the golf course, which large flows along the shore line of Fort Gibson Lake, over 19,000 acres of water. The course is really well maintained for a state park; however, you should be aware that during a recent trip to another OK state park, I played a round of golf and was told by the course pro that Sequoyah is turning their 18 hole course into a 9 hole course bc the campground is so frequently flooded. To that end, you should definitely pay attention to local rainfall levels prior to visiting Sequoyah if your planning a trip. There are several separate camping areas, all of which are named after a particular Native tribe such as “Seminole area.” Some areas are more prone than others to flooding so you should check with the park before going bc you may very well be limited in what you’re able to do or access if there has been local flooding. Beyond the golf course, the other obvious benefit of this park is Fort Gibson Lake, which is stunning. It’s a paradise for fishermen and boaters. For non water sport enthusiast, there is some great hiking at the park, as well as the Three Forks Nature Center, which my kids loved. The camp sites along the lake are generally for tent campers, but regardless, there is tons of sandy shoreline for swimming and playing in the water. Really pretty area of the park. There’s also a few beach volleyball courts and disc golf, which is a personal fav of mine. Lastly, for anyone not wanting to “camp,” have no fear! The “Lodge at Sequoyah State Park” is very, very, VERY nice and the rooms are reasonably priced for what you get. It was completely renovated recently and now very much looks like something you would expect out of a premier hotel or resort, not a state park. If you have a significant other who suffers through your love of ...

Brian B.'s Review on The Dyrt:

▶︎ Nice campsites!
We had never been to Ft. Gibson Lake so we thought we'd give it a go... and we really enjoyed it. We stayed at Seminole Campground in Sequoyah State Park for two nights at the end of May and had a nice time. The camp host greeted us when we pulled in and gave us the low-down and provided us with maps on the campgrounds and the area.
The campground, was really nice. It was clean, well kept, and quiet. With only one road in and out you'd think the traffic my be kinda bad, but it wasn't. It probably helps that there's not a boat ramp directly in the campgrounds. The sites were spacious and included a nice level concrete pad, a concrete picnic table, a firepit, and a lantern hook. All the sites away from the shore had sewer connections. The ones closest to the water did not, but there's a dump station right outside the campground gate.
Being kayakers we like campgrounds that have easy water access and Seminole campground did not disappoint. The water level was up about 15-20' this particular weekend which made it easy to launch/land and with floating debris due to the water level we pretty much had the lake to ourselves. There are also hiking trails in the area including a paved walking trail.
There's a convenience store a couple of miles away for ice, beverages, etc. It's about 12 miles to the nearest Walmart to pick up those things you forget... we now have dedicated camper pillows.
Since I sometimes need to login to work, I'm always curious about the wifi. While the campground itself doesn't have wifi, I was able to turn on the hotspot feature on my phone and get connected without any problems. We have service through AT&T and didn't have any issues.
The camp host told us that this campground is one of the few that stay open year round so we may be back in the fall for a different view.

Sebastian Inlet State Park Campground

We stayed in site 52. IMO … sites 52-56 are the best in the campground.

✅ Site is large

✅ Trees & Mechanical area behind our site, so no campsite behind us

✅ Peekaboo view of Inlet, easy couple step walk to better view

✅ Electric & Water Views

✅ Not private, but size and position make up for it!

❌ Noseums are BRUTAL

❌ Park is open 24 hours for fishing & boating, so that road has day guest traffic. Quieter sites on backside of campground, but no view!

???? The location of this park on the inlet, river, and ocean is SPECTACULAR!
