Eau Naturel vous permet de visiter le Jardin botanique de Meise. Avant 2014 Jardin botanique national de Belgique, est situé à cheval sur les communes de Meise et de Wemmel, à une dizaine de kilomètres du centre de Bruxelles. Il est l'un des plus grands jardins de plantes dans le monde. Il a succédé au Jardin botanique de Bruxelles créé en 1826 dans la commune bruxelloise de Saint-Josse-ten-Noode. Il est installé dans un domaine d'une étendue de 92 hectares.

op wandel in Brussel
Voor ons tweede dagje op rij, trokken we naar Brussel. Deze keer deden we een wandeling langs het water richting Molenbeek, om vandaar een wandeling te maken langs het kanaal , waar mijn ventje jaren gewerkt had in Avenue du Port. Na een wandeling te maken in het park van Tour en Taxis, namen we terug de bus naar huis.

For our second day in a row, we headed to Brussels. This time we did a walk along the water towards Molenbeek, and from there a walk along the canal, where my husband had worked for years in Avenue du Port. After a walk in the park of Tour en Taxis, we took the bus back home.

Meise Botanic Garden in Belgium also known as Plantentuin Meise is one of the largest botanic gardens in the world. It is in the Flemish Brabant region. Spread over 92 hectares and contains more than 18,000 different living plants including several threatened species.
Titan Arum also called as corpse flower is the largest unbranched inflorescence. This one is especially the attraction in the Botanic garden.
The Giant Water Lily is the largest species of water lily in the world.

Botanical Garden of Brussels, Belgium
The Botanical Garden of Brussels stands on Rue Royale in Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, near the Northern Quarter financial district in Brussels. Its main building is a cultural complex and music venue known as Le Botanique.
Originally founded in 1826 and partly designed by architect Tilman-François Suys, the main orangery (Le Botanique) is composed of a central rotunda with a dome, and two side aisles with windows at the ends.
After decades of financial uncertainty, the Belgian state bought the garden in 1870 and commissioned various fountains, electrical lighting, and an extensive program of sculpture that would both beautify the park and develop the country's public art and artists. Fifty-two sculptures were executed between 1894 and 1898, a project overseen by two well-known sculptors, Constantin Meunier and Charles van der Stappen.
In 1938 most of the botanical resources were removed to the new site National Botanic Garden of Belgium in Meise on the outskirts of the city. The original garden now stands as a cultural center called Le Botanique, while its historical statues, and its remarkable collection of species of large trees, stands intact.

Best Parks in Brussels
Brussels, the capital of Belgium and the Capital of Europe is also one of the greenest cities of the world. A tour to the best parks in Brussels is a must while visiting city. The city has several small and pleasant public gardens. There are also some historic parks, farms and vegetable gardens. Many avenues of the city are decorated with broad trees. That is why when you walk in the city, you feel the fresh air all around. I had a full day walk session in Brussels and I didn’t even feel tired at all.
One of the pleasant activities of summer is to go to a park for picnic or recreation. Normally, you will find a park almost around every corner of the city and all of them are wonderful. There are some parks with great historic importance, and some are a superb venue for a fantastic picnic.

Brussels Park
Brussels Park is the most famous park of all because it is big, close to the Brussels city center and faces the Royal Palace of Brussels. The park is in a rectangular shape and was the first public park of Brussels. Brussels park is also known as the Royal park of Brussels. The park has a historic importance because of the revolution of 1830 in Brussels when the battles were fought between Belgian Patriots and Dutch Troops.
When you enter the park from main gate, you will be welcomed by a large fountain. After the fountain the paths divide into three wide routes. You will see many beautiful plants, trees, statues and outdoor theaters in these avenues. The park also hosts musical festivals every year in summers. This is a great place for kids as there is a playground for them. There are kiosks in the park serving juices and snacks.
Parc du Cinquantenaire
Parc du Cinquantenaire is famous for jogging and outdoor sports activities like aerobics and yoga. The park was built in 1980 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Belgian Independence. The park is in a large pentagon shape and is very near to many famous Brussels Museums. There is a visible big triumphal arch which has three arches. Other than sports, the park also hosts many events, concerts and firework displays. This is a great venue for a picnic with family because there are two playgrounds for kids inside the park.

We are so lucky to grab the opportunity to visit Belgium King’s Garden????????????????????????. The royal greenhouse and garden is only open once every year.
From 15 April to 8 May 2022 in the Castle of Laeken. Every spring, the Royal Greenhouses of Laeken are open to the public for 3 weeks. It is an excellent opportunity to see the wonderful architecture of Alphonse Balat, the mentor of Victor Horta, and the many plants in the greenhouses.
