Las Vegas is known for being the center of gambling and entertainment, attracting tourists from all over the world to experience its unique energy. FROZEN WEST COAST - USA roadtrip
An exact year to this day, we were landing on the americain ground to begin a 20-day roadtrip on the US West Coast. This was a hell of an adventure along with my good friend Tanguy. From the epic rock formations of Monument Valley to the huge bridges of San Francisco, we saw so many incredible places we had to share them in a video.

I was just blown away by the size of the fishing pier at Lake Corpus Christi State Park! I was so amazed that I had the whole thing to myself for almost a whole day! We had the pleasure of spending two relaxing days camping and exploring this wonderful Texas State Park.
Leaving Lake Corpus Christi State Park was a true disappointment! We did not have nearly enough time to truly enjoy this wonderful Texas State Park.

small town, USA // Hamburg, Iowa // Population 890
This is my 4th small town, USA video and 1st one in Iowa. It's a very unique geographical location where you can almost see Missouri and Nebraska! Hamburg has had an up and down history, losing over half its population from the peak of around 2000. There are some very interesting buildings around town, and you can tell there is a lot of pride! I really enjoyed my visit to Hamburg!

A huge thank you to our Instagram followers who voted for us to go to Lake Corpus Christi State Park next! We had a great time at this park, even though we were hot and sunburned by the end of it. Lake Corpus Christi is a beautiful lake and the park offers incredible views of the water. Not only is it great for boaters and fishers, but there are also plenty of places for those who wish to swim in calm areas. Thanks again for choosing Lake Corpus Christi State Park! San Antonio landmarks
San Antonio is the second largest city in Texas. As the gatekeeper to the Rio Grande Valley, Hwy 10 and Hwy 35 carve a giant X across the face of the city.
With a population almost topping 1.4 million, you would expect San Antonio to be aloof, haughty and spoiled. Not the case! This friendly metropolis welcomes visitors with offerings of activities to please the most discriminating tastes.
Visit the historic Alamo, walk along the famous River Walk, stroll HemisFair Park and shop at the booths at Market Square.
Getting around is easy and inexpensive with the Via Trolley or hop on one of the BCycles (bike share program) from one docking station to the next.
Food is remarkable. Dine at the famous Mi Tierra or go totally upscale at the Guenther House.
For adult beverages, check out Blue Star Brewing Company or head over to the old Pearl Brewery (closed in 2001) which now houses restaurants and a culinary institute.
Think about a visit to San Antonio when making plans for your next travel adventure.
Sam Stowe Campground ~ Scorpion Walk ~ Fremont Indian State Park --- Joyful Camping
We had an amazing visit to Fremont Indian State Park where we stayed at the Sam Stowe Campground. The camp host was very nice and filled us in on all the activities in the area. The state park is a neat place to visit and I suggest you add it to your list of places to stop at.

Review of Lake Corpus Christi State Park, Texas

I stayed at Lake Corpus Christi State Park, in Mathis, Texas, for two weeks in early February 2021. Here's my review of the park and campground.
In terms of cost, I purchased a Texas State Park annual pass for $70. That eliminated the cost for a daily park pass ($5/day) and I got a discount on camping fees. The final tally was $270 for 14 nights (just under $20/day). I had power and water (no sewer hookup) and stayed in the Opossum Campground.
Note: Cell service excellent (AT&T and Verizon)
