പാലക്കാട് നഗരത്തിൽ നിന്നും വെറും 8 കിലോമീറ്റർ മാത്രം അകലെയാണ് മലമ്പുഴ ഡാം. 30 മിനിറ്റു കൊണ്ട് പാലക്കാട് നഗരത്തിൽ നിന്നും മലമ്പുഴയിൽ എത്താം കേരളത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ഡാം ആണ് മലമ്പുഴ. , അകൊറിയവും, വലിയ ഗാർഡനുമൊക്കെയുണ്ട്. വളരെ മനോഹരമായ സ്ഥലാണ് മലമ്പുഴ ഡാം.
അതുകഴിഞ്ഞാൽ സ്നേക്ക് പാർക്ക്. മലമ്പുഴ ഡാമിനോട് ചേർന്നാണ് സ്നേക്ക് പാർക്ക് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. നിരവധി പാമ്പുകളുടെ ശേഖരം ഇവിടെയുണ്ട് അതുകഴിഞ്ഞാൽ കാവ
കവ മലമ്പുഴയിൽ നിന്നും 5 കിലോമീറ്റർ സഞ്ചരിച്ചാൽ കവയിൽ എത്താം.

BLISSFUL VIEW OF KADAPPARA WATERFALLS, MANGALAM DAM, PALAKKAD, KERALA, INDIA ???????? ???????? ????????
Kadappara Waterfalls (also known as Alingal waterfalls) is located around 7 kms far from the Mangalam Dam in Palakkad disctrict of Kerala. The waterfall cascades down into a large pool, which is a good place for swimming and bathing. Vehicles can reach till 200 meters from the waterfalls. Earlier, there was a trekking distance of 5 kms. Due to the same reason, only locals were aware about this hidden gem. Now travellers started visiting this palce. Its a compete plastic restricted area since the water is flowing through the forest. From Mangalam dam you can reach Kadappara waterfalls via the route Ponkandam. The place is located around 50 kms from Palakkad and Thrissur towns.
