Maner Sharif (Hindi: मनेर शरीफ़, Urdu: منیر شریف) is located 25 kilometres (16 mi) west of Patna on NH 30. It is also called Maner (Hindi: मनेर, Urdu: منیر). It is a popular medieval site and a notified area in Patna district in the Indian state of Bihar. Maner enjoys position of one of the chief spiritual centers in India. Maner Sharif houses two very popular Muslim tombs:
One of Makhdoom Yahya Maneri known as the Bari Dargah.

पटनासे लगभग तीस किलोमीटर दूर खानकाह मनेर में हजरत इब्राहिम खान काकड़ ने छोटी दरगाह में आलीशान मस्जिद बनवाई थी। इसका निर्माण लगभग चार सौ साल पहले हुआ था। इब्राहिम उस वक्त गुजरात के सूबेदार थे और बिहार का उन्हें अतिरिक्त प्रभार दिया गया था। इब्राहिम, हजरत मखदूम शाह दौलत मनेरी के मुरीद भी थे। 1936 में आए भूकम्प में यह ऐतिहासिक मस्जिद क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया था। बावजूद इसमें ईद की नमाज होती थी। फिलहाल यह मस्जिद भारतीय पुरातत्व सर्वेक्षण के कब्जा में है और इसमें उन लोगों ने ताला लगा दिया है। 1980 के बाद से यहां ईद की नमाज नहीं होती है। खानकाह मनेर के सज्जादानशीं तारिक इनायतुल्लाह ने बताया कि कई बार पुरातत्व संरक्षण को इस मस्जिद को जीर्णोद्धार करने काे कहा गया, लेकिन नहीं हुआ।

Makhdoom Yahiya Maneri (Urdu: مخدوم کمال الدین یحییٰ منیری‎, Hindi: Makhdoom) was an Indian Sufi saint of the 13th century. His tomb in courtyard of a mosque, located in Maner, 29 km from Patna, Bihar, India.

Maner also spelled Maner or Maner Sharif, is a satellite town in Patna Metropolitan Region, in the Patna district in the Indian state of Bihar. Maner Sharif lies 24 km west of Patna the capital of Bihar on National Highway 30 (India). It comes 8 km before Bihta while travelling from Patna to Ara-Buxar via NH30. The town has tombs of Sufi saints Makhdoom Yahya Maneri and Makhdoom Shah Daulat, known as Bari Dargah (the great shrine) and Chhoti Dargah (the small shrine). Maner is an important tourist areas and tourism centre . The city's name is said to come from its status as a center of tourism.

His complete name is Kamaaluddin Yahya Maneri. He was son of Makhdoom Israil son of Imam Mohammad Taj Faquih Hashmi (also called Sheikh Al Hind). His family settled in Maner which was later also called Maner Sharif. He studied Islamic law at Al-Nizamiyya of Baghdad Academy. He was a disciple of Sheikh Shahab al-Din Abu Hafs Umar al-Suhrawardi of Suhrawardiyya Sufi order. His associates include Baha-ud-din Zakariya Multani, Shaykh Saadi Shirazi and Kamal al-Din Isma'il al-'Isfahani and Makhdoom Shahabuddin Pir Jagjot of Balkh who settled in Jaitley near Patna.

He married one of the daughters of his friend Makhdoom Shahabuddin Pir Jagjot and had four sons and at least one daughter with her.

The sacred shrine is locally known as Bari (meaning big) Dargah, while the mausoleum of his descendant, Makhdoom Shah Daulat is known as Chhoti (small) Dargah.

This shrine has remained a place of pilgrimage for a long time. Notable visitors include Sikandar Lodi and the Mughal emperor Babar (1520–1530).

His son Makhdoom Sharfuddin Ahmed Yahya Maneri's books Maktoobate sadi (hundred letters of century) and Maktoobate do sadi (two hundred letters of second century) are renowned Persian language collections of spiritual writings. The Persian books on Islamic Theosophy titled Maktoobate sadi (hundred letters ) and Maktoobate do sadi (two hundred letters ) were written by his son Sheikh Sharfuddin Ahmed Maneri. The original manuscripts are available in the collection of Khuda Bakhsh Oriental Library at Patna, Bihar India

Among his descendants, Makhdoom Shah Daulat died in 1608. His mausoleum Chhoti Dargah was built by Ibrahim Khan Kankar, Governor of Bihar, and completed in 1616. It is still known as an excellent example of Mughal architecture.[2] Like several other shrines of Sufi saints, Hazarat Makhdoom Yahya Maneri is revered both by Muslims as well as by Hindus.

1.Sanjay Gandhi Jaivik Udyan

Sanjay Gandhi Jaivik Udyan is known as the Patna Zoo, is a noteworthy city feature. Included among the most prominent zoos, the nation, Sanjay Gandhi Jaivik Udyan, was established in 1972. Maner sharif ki rahasyamai gufa - Yaha mela laga hai

This video is about Bihar's one of the most famous and important tourist place Maner Sharif Dargah. It is situated at Maner, just 39 km away from Patna and it is famous for the grave of sufi saint Makhdum Shah Daulat who died in 1608. This Dargah was built in 1616 by Bengal's Subedar Ibrahim Khan. It has The Holi Quran verses engraved on its wall and its design is similar to the fort of Fatehpur Sikri.
Shohbat Mela is Held twice a year for two to three days. During this period People from all over the world visit here to offer special prayers to Makhdum Shah Daula When their wishes gets fullfilled.
