This video covers the second and third day of our Hokkaido trip. It includes doing paragliding in Furano, visiting some of the beautiful sightseeing spots in Furano and Biei area and arriving at the most vibrant capital city of Hokkaido, Sapporo and having the famous dish Genghiskhan for the dinner. Paragliding in Furano is offered by MPG Sorachi where we can try a powered paraglider flight together with a qualified instructor. We will get an amazing chance to Soar through the wide-open skies of furano, the heart of Hokkaido! The Shirogane Blue Pond in Biei, has gained popular attraction as a hot tourist spot in recent years. Shirahige Falls located in the Shirogane hot spring village of Biei is a spectacular waterfall just around 10mins by car from the Blue Pond. Roller Coaster Road,Biei Side is a 2.5-km-long straight road which has a large variation in altitude, with both gentle and steep ups and downs. Then headed straight to the capital city of Hokkaido, Sapporo. Sapporo is famous for a variety of food items like Ramen, seafood etc. This time we tried the Matsuo Jingisukan which is grilling the meat and boiling the veg on a special hotplate.

First Impression of KUSHIRO, HOKKAIDO
Here's my first impression of Kushiro while walking around the city. Even though there's not many things to see and do, there were lots of beautiful moments enjoying the views. Washo market was definitely cool to see and the food was pretty incredible (even though I don't eat fish hehe) It's worth stopping by in Kushiro especially if you like Japanese food like Sushi. Best month is summer as the wetland I mentioned is only nice in summer with green (that's what locals told me) Thanks for joining me ;)

4K Walk Japan 幕別町札内地区と幕別地区の商店街を散歩 2022年11月
今回は、幕別町の商店街を歩いてみました。幕別町は帯広市と池田町の間に位置します。札内地区と幕別地区と忠類地区からなり、南北に長くとても広い町です。パークゴルフ発祥の地であり、多くのトップアスリートを輩出している町として有名です。動画の前半が札内地区、12:06から幕別地区になります。札内は札内駅前の通りに少し商店が残っています。動画には映っていませんが、駅の北側に国道38号線があるため、店舗はその沿線に多くあります。駅前はやはり寂しい感じです。
幕別では幕別駅前から国道38号線に繋がる道路沿いにお店がいくつかあります。シャッターを閉めてるお店が多く、人通りも少ないのですが、撮影した日は駅前でイベントがあり、多くの人で賑わっていました。池田町と同様に昔の十勝の街並みがまだ残っており、澄んだ青空がとてもよく似合います。

WINE TASTING IN HOKKAIDO JAPAN - Visiting the Ikeda Wine Castle in Tokachi
Japan is a truly amazing country to visit. In 2019, I did an epic foodie adventure throughout the country, visiting destinations known for their food and food products. I visited the Japanese wine country in Tokachi on the island of Hokkaido. This is a video of my visit to the Ikeda Wine Castle ( in Tokachi. It shows a tour of the winery and vineyard and then my wine tasting in Japan.

The wine industry in Japan is relatively young but they are starting to win international awards for their vintages. We tasted some different red wines, some sparkling wine (Japanese champagne) and even some brandy, all grown and made at the Ikeda Wine Castle (Ikeda Budo Budo Research Institute of Fermentation).
My trip was part of a program called Savor Japan ( designed to highlight food-centric areas of the country not normally visited by international visitors.

Trivia: It was not my first time to visit Hakodate but I realized that I forgot a lot about this city because the last time I visited was such a long time ago. I never knew Hakodate was such a beautiful city until I shot this video. Architectures of old buildings were really nice and I loved the view from Hachiman-zaka Slope. In my humble opinion, Hakodate is very under-rated and it deserves more attention. I hope you fall in love with Hakodate as much as I do.
