hiHi guys welcome to Travelzilla. Please join me on a walking tour of the incredible historic city of ANGRA DO HEROISMO, located on TERCEIRA ISLAND, THE AZORES ISLANDS, PORTUGAL. The Azores is one of the most iconic archipelagos of the Atlantic. It is comprised of 9 islands: PICO, SAO JORGE, TERCEIRA, SANTA MARIA, GRACIOSA, FLORES, SAO MIGUEL, CORVO and FAIAL islands. Some say the the 1oth island is located in Brazil, the island of FLORIANOPOLIS (LOLOL). Just kidding.
The Island of TERCEIRA is home to ANGRA DO HEROISMO, a city so important that is considered a WORLD HERITAGE SITE by UNESCO because it was the first major European city that resulted from the European voyages outside the continent during the renaissence era. ANGRA DO HEROISMO was the cpital of Portugal 2 times, it was a place of arrival for some of the most important navigators of their time as well as the birthplace of the liberal revolution of Portugal. Empreror PEDRO I of Brazil ( PEDRO IV of PORTUGAL) abdicated from his throne as emperor of Brazil. He left PEDRO II his 5 year old sone in his place and went back to Portugal to regain his crown as king of Portugal. It all started here in Angra do Heroismo. Pedro's saga to regain Portugal from his own brother, in what became known as the liberal revolution.
In this video I take you on a walking tour of Angra do heroismo. During this virtual tour we will walk all over the historical center. We will visit places like SÉ Street and Cathedral, Almeida Garrett Sq, several historic churches, the statue of navigator VASCO DA GAMA, the city archives, the Duque of Terceira Gardens so on and so forth. I will tell you a little bit of my own personal history and also about the history of the city and how they are linked!
I also talk about how ANGRA DO HEROISMO was a model city to Brazil. Most colonial cities in Brazil (then Portugal) were modeled after Angra, which is why it is a world heritage site. Episodio de 'ANDO EN BUS' (RIDING BUSES) con el viaje 'El Quisco - Santiago' en la empresa 'Pullman Bus Costa Central'. 'El Quisco' es una de las playas principales de la zona central de Chile, uno de los mayores destinos de vacaciones de verano de las personas que viven en 'Santiago'. En la primera parte del video, yo caminé por la avenida principal 'Isidoro Dubornais' mostrando el paisaje urbano, distintos buses, además de pasteles típicos como el pan de huevo, 'palmera', merengues.
En el Terminal de 'Pullman Bus - El Quisco', vimos varios buses que estaban estacionados esperando un horario asignado. Había buses 'Marcopolo Viaggio 1050', 'Yutong ZK6136H', 'Zhongtong Navigator', 'Neobus New Road N10', entre otros. Desde este lugar, a mediodía fuimos rumbo a la capital de Chile a través del Nuevo Camino Costero y otras rutas, vía 'Casablanca'.
El viaje 'El Quisco - Santiago' tiene cerca de 110 km de distancia, además de una duración de 100 minutos aproximadamente. El bus de este viaje es una unidad china 'Zhongtong Navigator LCK6137H', placa JDZF61, inscrito en Noviembre 2016. El bus tiene 42 asientos 'Clásico' con cinturón de seguridad de 3 puntos. En 'Santiago', el bus llega al Terminal 'Pajaritos' y a Terminal 'Alameda'.
El episodio es presentado por los libros 'Corte de Cinta', 'Los Héroes del Tiempo', 'Bendita Elegancia', 'Iris el sonido de las caracolas' y los servicios de edición de libros independientes de 'Ariel Cruz Pizarro'.

Join me on a 4K walking tour from Mexico City’s Historic Center to the Tepito neighborhood!
Starting south of Zócalo we go north towards the iconic neighborhood of Tepito. On the way we pass the Metropolitan Cathedral, Santo Domingo Church, Santa Catarina Church, a few monuments and more. We finish our walk at the brand new Tepito letters on Paseo de la Reforma.
