In this week's episode, I spent a fantastic day in Magog (Quebec) in the Eastern Townships region doing some awesome fall activities, notably visiting the Abbaye de Saint-Benoît-du-Lac and kayaking on the Cherry River in Magog. We also got a great lunch at the La Memprhé Microbrewery in downtown Magog. Hope you enjoy this week's episode!

That was an amazing road trip to the eastern townships of Quebec. this day my car rental was from #Budget_car_rental in Montreal Airport , and the trip took close to 90 minutes . the #Abbaye_De_St_Benoit_Du_Lac is a monastery built in 1912 in the eastern Quebec , now monks lives and works in this place selling cider , #chocolates and #cheese .

Magog is a little town in quebec's Eastern Townships. Magog is an area of woods, and bog that comprise an impressive biodiverse network of paths called the Marais de la Riviere aux Cerises. Magog sits at the northern end of Lake Memphremagog, a long and narrow fresh water glacial lake that spans both the U.S.state of Vermont and Canadian province of Quebec.

Best winter activities: Ice fishing in Magog, Canada
Fun day of ice fishing on Memphremagog Lake in Magog, Quebec. We didn't catch any fish, but we did watch one man plunge his whole arm (winter jacket and all!) in the icy cold water to try and grab a fish escaping from his friend's line! Now THAT'S commitment!
If you want to give it a try, you can head to Memphremagog Lake in Magog, Quebec. Tickets are $20, and there's a $10 deposit for a fishing rod.

When I was younger, I used to dream of traveling the world and working abroad. But I also wanted to study journalism and work in television. So I started with the latter and spent more than 10 years working as a TV & radio reporter, presenting the weather, and co-hosting a popular Montreal morning show on LIVE television.
In June 2016, I stumbled on a completely crazy opportunity -- to work as a G.O for Club Med -- and I decided to take the leap!
2 weeks later, I was flying out to Club Med Punta Cana to first work in Guest Relations/Reception, but then transitioned to Community Manager in Turks & Caicos, and eventually became expert content creator for the entire North American zone.
I left G.O life in December 2018 and now freelance as a voice artist, host, content creator, and digital marketing specialist. I still work with Club Med recruitment teams and will sometimes make videos about G.O life.
I also continue to travel and act like a clown in front of cameras.

S'il y a un endroit ou j'aime venir me ressourcer, été comme hiver, c'est bien dans la ville de Magog en Estrie. Cette municipalité de 28 300 habitants est magnifiquement située au nord-est du lac Memphrémagog, à la confluence du lac et de la rivière Magog, dans laquelle les eaux du lac se déversent. Vous avez aussi le droit à un panorama de montagnes tout autour, dont la plus proche est le Mont Orford.
La ville est située à l'intersection des autoroutes 10 et 55, à 30 minutes de la frontière américaine, à 1 heure de Montréal et 2h30 de Québec.
J'y ai passé 2 jours avec ma famille les 29 et 30 décembre. La météo étant particulièrement douce cette année pour la saison, nous avons passé la première journée sous une neige fondante, la seconde, avec 8 degrés au dessus de zéro, avait déjà bien eut raison de la majorité du couvert de neige.
