आपको बता दूं चित्रकूट मध्यप्रदेश के सतना जिले के अंतर्गत आता है और यहां पर जो पास में एयरपोर्ट है, वह खजुराहो है और रेलवे स्टेशन जो है वह चित्रकूट धाम और कर्वी पड़ता है और बाय बस भी आप वहां पहुंच सकते हैं इलाहाबाद और सतना के पास में पड़ता है 2 से 3 घंटे का रास्ता है|
चित्रकूट को भारत के महत्वपूर्ण धार्मिक स्थानों में से एक माना जाता है इसका उल्लेख वाल्मीकि रामायण में भी है| चित्रकूट का धार्मिक और आध्यात्मिक महत्व है| यह देश का सबसे पुराना तीर्थ मंदाकिनी नदी के तट पर स्थित है| ऐसा मानते हैं कि भगवान राम ,सीता और लक्ष्मण अपने 14 वर्ष के वनवास के पश्चात लगभग 12 वर्ष इन्हीं जंगलों में बिताए| ऋषि अत्री और सती अनसूया से मिले| भरत, जब उन्हें वापस लेने के लिए आए थे तो उनसे भी यही भेंट हुई थी और भी काफी रोचक तथ्य और महत्वपूर्ण बातें हैं जो इस जगह को बहुत ही खास बनाते हैं| इस ब्लॉग में वह सभी जगह, सभी बातें मैं आपको बताऊंगा और आप कैसे जा सकते हैं और किस टाइम पर जा सकते हैं ,वह सारी जानकारी आपको मिलेगी|

आज आप सभी को चित्रकूट जिले के क्षेत्रफल के हिसाब से 10 सबसे बड़े गाँवो के बारे में बताने जा रहे हैं, उत्तर प्रदेश और मध्य प्रदेश की सीमा पर स्थित यह जिला, पवित्र मन्दाकिनी नदी के तट पर बसा है। चित्रकूट बहुत प्रसिद्ध धार्मिक शहर है, शहर मे विभिन्न मंदिरो के कारण इसे मंदिरो का शहर भी कहा जाता है। चित्रकूट मे भगवान राम ने वनवास के 11 वर्ष बिताये थे। यही राम भरत मिलाप हुआ था।

kamadgiri is one of the most holy place of chitrakoot. we can see many temples at kamadgiri mountain.
कामतानाथ की परिक्रमा करने के लिए लाखों लोग प्रति वर्ष यहाँ आते हैं और कामतानाथ की परिक्रमा करते हैं। कामदगिरी पर्वत की परिक्रमा 5 किलोमीटर की होती है। कामदगिरी पर्वत की परिक्रमा करने पर हमें चार मुखारविंद दिखाई देते हैं। कामदगिरी पर्वत की परिक्रमा करने पर हमें भगवान श्री राम के भरत जी से मिलाप होने वाला स्थान भी दिखाई देता है।
