Lunca de Jos-Valea Rece (HR)????????????????
Lunca de Jos este o comună în județul Harghita, pe valea Trotușului. Comuna Lunca de Jos se afla la 98 km fata de Odorheiu Secuiesc si la 39 km de resedinta de judea Miercurea Ciuc.
Se invecineaza cu comunele Lunca de Sus, Ghimes, Faget, Damiuc.
Comuna este delimitat de vaile paraurilor Boros, Recea, Intunecoasa, Capelei si Antaloc.
A devenit centru de comert, situat in apropierea granitei cu Modova, odata cu construirea caii ferate Miercurea-Ciuc - Valea Ghimesului, aici aflandu-se si cateva fabrici de cherestea.
Activitati specifice zonei: cresterea animalelor, prelucrarea primara a lemnului si exploatarea lemnului.
Regiunea este populata de oameni care pastreaza si cultiva cu adevarat si aztazi traditiile populare.
Ornamentarea portilor traditionale reflecta talentul si ingeniozitatea locuitorilor.
Dintre mestesugurile populare traditionale trebuie mentionate sculptura, filiatura de lana, ceramica, filiatura de paie, albinaritul, olaritul, scrisul pe oua dar nu putem uita nici fieraria si dulgheritul.
Pasul Ghimes-Palanca (Gyimesbukk )????????????????
Pasul Ghimes-Palanca se află pe DN 12A , pe valea Trotușului (judetul Bacău) la o altitudine de 684 m la limita între Munții Tarcăului și Munții Ciucului. Pasul este un punct de trecere între depresiunea Ghimeș și depresiunea Comănești. Paralel cu șoseaua merge magistrala de cale ferată 501.
Se poate vizita biserica Romano-Catolică din localitate, cetatea Rakoczi (1780) situată pe veche linie de demarcație a graniței între Transilvania și Moldova, muzeul CFR -Cantonul 30 și monumentul lui Emil Rebreanu.

Am avut parte de o zi în care am întâlnit multe cruci, semn care a anunțat șederea mea la mănăstire peste noapte. Ironic, am trecut înainte pe la Muntele Păgânilor, care și el purta o cruce
