Op wandel door Brussel
Vandaag (10 januari 2020) namen we de bus naar Brussel. Na een uurtje op de bus te hebben doorgebracht kwamen we eindelijk aan in Brussel.
Brussel is de hoofdstad van België, van de Vlaamse Gemeenschap, de Franse Gemeenschap en het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest. Is de moeite om eens gaan te bezoeken.

Mechelen is een stad in de Belgische provincie Antwerpen. Mechelen ligt pal tussen (en dichtbij) Antwerpen en Brussel,aan de rivier de Dijle en is dus ideaal als uitvalsbasis voor allebei: 20 minuten sporen en je bent er. De stad heeft een lange geschiedenis, maar heeft veel meer te bieden dan alleen traditie. De Financial Times noemde Mechelen een van de 10 Europese steden van de toekomst. Die eer hebben we te danken aan onze vele jonge, goed opgeleide inwoners. En wist je dat er gratis wifi is voor iedereen? Overal!

Bornem is uitgegroeid tot een bruisend en levendig dorp .Aangenaam om te wonen.
Bornem was al bewoond in de Gallo-Romeinse tijd. De naam werd in 1101 Burnehen gespeld (verblijf bij de bron)
Het 'Land van Bornem' is als zelfstandige heerlijkheid tot stand gekomen in de periode van de plundertochten van de Noormannen (9de eeuw). Strategisch gelegen aan de Schelde, op de plaats waar nu het Kasteel de Marnix de Sainte-Aldegonde staat aan de huidige Oude Schelde.

The territory was already inhabited in the Gallo-Roman times. The name was spelled in 1101 Burnehen (stay at the source).
The 'Land van Bornem' came into being as an independent glory during the period of the plunderings of the Normans (9th century). Strategically located on the Scheldt, on the site where the Marnix de Sainte-Aldegonde castle now stands on the current Oude Schelde.

Als je gaat wandelen in Denderbelle kan je nu kennismaken met een nieuwe wandelroute die tijdelijk bewegwijzerd is tot het einde van de vakantie. De wandelclub Denderklokjes uit Lebbeke heeft 3 lusvormige wandelroutes gemaakt onder de naam “coronawandeling”. Na de vakantie gaan de bordjes weg, maar dan kan je de route nog steeds blijven volgen via de RouteYou app . Wij hebben het gedaan met de bordjes. Gaan jullie mee op wandel? Dit is deel 1 van onze wandeling.
Denderbelle is een dorp in de Belgische provincie Oost-Vlaanderen en een deelgemeente van Lebbeke. Het dorp ligt aan de Dender in de Denderstreek. De aangrenzende gemeenten zijn in het noorden Sint-Gillis-bij-Dendermonde, in het oosten Lebbeke, in het zuiden Wieze en in het westen Mespelare en Oudegem.

If you go walking in Denderbelle, you can now get to know a new walking route that is temporarily signposted until the end of the holidays. The walking club Denderklokjes from Lebbeke has created 3 loop-shaped walking routes under the name corona walk. After the holidays the signs will disappear, but you can still follow the route via the RouteYou app. We did it with the signs.Are you coming along for the walk?
Denderbelle is a village in the Belgian province of East-Flanders and a sub-municipality of Lebbeke. The village is situated along the Dender in the Denderstreek. The neighbouring municipalities are Sint-Gillis-bij-Dendermonde in the north, Lebbeke in the east, Wieze in the south and Mespelare and Oudegem in the west.

De Keeninck op 't Kroës in Lebbeke
De Keeninck op't Kroës in Lebbeke was een tentoonstelling over de Belgische dynastie van vroeger en nu.
Iets meer dan 40 jaar geleden bracht de toenmalige koning Boudewijn een bezoek aan de Kruisparochie in Lebbeke . Hij bezocht er Clement De Vos, de toen oudste levende Belg ooit. Dit jaar zit de huidige koning Filip 10 jaar op de troon. Dat waren twee goeie redenen voor stuwende kracht Laurens De Coninck en voor de buurtvereniging 't Lab Gods om op 11, 12, 15, 18 en 19 november 2023 een tentoonstelling op te zetten over de Belgische dynastie. Ze hadden de kerk van de Minnestraat omgetoverd tot een exporuimte . Het was de moeite waard om een kijkje te gaan nemen. Wijzelf brachten een bezoekje op 15 november.

Just over 40 years ago, the then King Baudouin visited the parish of the Cross in Lebbeke . There he visited Clement De Vos, the then oldest living Belgian ever. This year, the current King Philippe has been on the throne for 10 years. Those were two good reasons for driving force Laurens De Coninck and for the neighborhood association 't Lab Gods to set up an exhibition about the Belgian dynasty on November 11, 12, 15, 18 and 19, 2023. They had transformed the Minnestraat church into an exhibition space . It was worth going to take a look. We ourselves paid a visit on November 15.

Opdorp is klaar voor 10 dagen feest
Opdorp kermis van 1 juli tot en met 10 juli 2022
Tien dagen lang kan u op de Dries in Opdorp feesten dankzij het lokaal bestuur en het feest-en jaarmarktcomité.
Er zijn tal van gratis optredens en activiteiten. Kom zeker de sfeer opsnuiven op en rond de kermistent op de Dries. De kermisattracties zijn open op zaterdag vanaf 15u, op zondag vanaf 14u en op maandag vanaf 10u. Vanaf woensdag 29 juni tot en met maandag 11 juli worden de middendreef van de Dries, het kerkplein en één zijde van de Drietorenstraat afgesloten.
Vandaag ben ik al eens een kijkje gaan nemen. Alles wordt in gereedheid gebracht , want vanavond is er al een strandfuif door de Jeugdraad.

For ten days you can party on the Dries in Opdorp thanks to the local government and the party and fair committee.
There are numerous free performances and activities. Come and soak up the atmosphere in and around the fairground tent on the Dries. The fairground attractions are open on Saturday from 3 pm, on Sunday from 2 pm and on Monday from 10 am. From Wednesday 29 June to Monday 11 July the central avenue of the Dries, the church square and one side of the Drietorenstraat will be closed.
Today I already went to take a look. Everything is being prepared, as the Youth Council is throwing a beach party tonight.

Kinder Processie Lier 2018
Op zondag 3 juni vond nabij het Lierse begijnhof de jaarlijkse Mariale kinderprocessie plaats. Zoals het al verschillende jaren de traditie is, gaat op de zondag na Sacramentsdag de processie uit in en rondom het Lierse Begijnhof, dit jaar op zondag 3 juni 2018.

Oostende is een stad in de Belgische provincie West-Vlaanderen, die ongeveer centraal langs de Belgische kust ligt. De stad is een belangrijk toeristisch en economisch centrum, beschikt over een zee- en luchthaven en is het centrum van het gelijknamige arrondissement.
Oostende is de enige stad van de Belgische kust. Oostende ligt redelijk centraal aan de nog geen zeventig kilometer lange kust, waardoor het binnen de kuststrook een belangrijke regionale functie heeft. Oostende is bovenal ook ene belangrijke badplaats. De stranden van Oostende trekken jaarlijks vele toeristen naar de kust. Het gros hiervan is afkomstig uit België. Er zijn echter ook altijd wel wat Nederlanders te vinden. Buitenlandse toeristen combineren een stadsbezoek aan Brugge vaak met een of meerdere dagen Oostende als het zomer is. Omdat Oostende naast een kustplaats ook en stad is met alle bijbehorende voorzieningen is de plaats iedere maand van het jaar geschikt om te bezoeken. Wie Oostende bezoekt die kan de stad altijd nog gebruiken als uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Brugge. Deze historische stad ligt op nog geen half uur rijden van Oostende. Wie met het openbaar vervoer wil gaan die kan per met de trein naar Brugge reizen.

Those who visit Ostend can always use the city as an operating base for a visit to Bruges. This historical city is less than half an hour's drive from Ostend. If you want to go by public transport, you can travel to Bruges by train.

Opwijk is een plaats en gemeente in de Belgische provincie Vlaams-Brabant. De gemeente ligt in het noordwesten van de provincie en vormt sinds 1977 een fusiegemeente met Mazenzele. Elk jaar gaat in Opwijk de Sint-Paulusprocessie door.
