The day before yesterday we got sad news regarding Devon's family dog Happy. He hasn't been doing well and his health has declined dramatically... It was a tough time but after breakfast we still managed to explore the amazing little coastal town of White Rock. Shoreline trails, tides, sunsets, historical monuments (the White Rock), the longest pier in Canada, and ice cream! This place is just dreamy and we fell in love with it. We end our day in Vancouver visiting another friend. Tomorrow we bike the city!

Memorial Park - Ladner Delta BC Playground Review
This is one of my favorite parks. It's located in Ladner village and it has something for everyone. Cool off in the water park on a hot day. There are lots of areas for kids of all ages to play. Also, because it's not a really popular park it doesn't get as busy as some of the bigger parks. Nearby there are many restaurants to eat yummy food!
You can visit Memorial Park too. It's located at 5010 47 Ave, Delta, BC

An Abandoned Railroad Bridge Near Vancouver, BC | Ladner Creek Trestle Trail Guide and Review
A picturesque backdrop and unconventional adventure is this signature spot near Vancouver, BC. This abandoned railroad bridge, the Ladner Creek Trestle just outside Hope, BC.
About 2 hours east of Vancouver and hidden in the forests of British Columbia. You can find yourself walking beside the Ladner Creek Trestle that was once apart of the historic Kettle Valley Railway.
Although this isn't a official trail the Ladner Creek Trestle is very popular and well known to locals. To find the Ladner Creek Trestle (coming from Vancouver, BC) take the Coquihalla highway exit 202. Do a you turn and head back towards Hope and Vancouver. Just before you driving over Ladner Creek take the dirt road off the highway. There isn't any signs but you can watch this video to find out exactly what to do and how to find it, if you are having trouble.
From there park your car and start hiking. In total it's about a 30 minute hike towards the Ladner Creek Trestle but again this isn't a official trail so bring good hiking shoes. The first 10 to 15 minutes goes up a steep hill, with limited footing and you may not realize you're on the right trail but you'll soon find yourself on the old railroad tracks. The tracks are long gone but the trail to Lander Creek flattens out. You'll come across a decommissioned tunnel and once you hike over that you'll see the Ladner Creek Trestle off in the distance.
