Founded in 1608 as a fur trading colony, Quebec City quickly became an administrative center is now the capital of Quebec Province.

The Upper Town, which is also known as Haute-Village, was originally developed for its military advantage and features the defensive Citadel as well as some of the city's most breathtakingly beautiful and iconic landmarks, like the Chateau Frontenac and the City Fortifications.

The Lower Town, which is also called Basse-Ville, on the other hand, is where the original settlement was built and is known for its scenic narrow streets and historic stone buildings.

Intensely proud and protective of its French-Canadian identity and language, Quebec City serves as the heart and soul of the province that shares its name. Many of its museums, restaurants, and tourist attractions highlight this rich cultural heritage – as does its many festivals and events.

With so many thrilling things to do in Quebec City – not to mention all of the history and nature to explore while you are there – the provincial capital of Quebec is a must-visit location when you're exploring all that Canada has to offer.

Quebec city tour | Montmorency falls & Chateau Frontenac | Canada travel vlog

#quebeccity #travelogue #canadavlog #tamilvlog

Hello viewers....!!!! I have uploaded part 2 of my trip to Quebec city here. In this vlog I have shown the most beautiful Chateau frontenac, a hotel which is very famous for its architectural designs and also the beauty has located near the banks of St. Lawrence river. And next comes the other historical and must see places of Quebec such as Place Royale,Parliament building,Fortifications of Quebec Nationals,Rue-Saint Jean, Quebec city Mural & much more places.

Last but not least the most spectacular and a must visit Montmorency falls. Montmorency falls is having various activities for visitors like zipline, via ferrata quebec, cycling. It would be fun to walk over the fault bridge across the falls. And you can also have a complete view of the falls from the observation deck by climbing down through a long stretched stairs and return back the same way by climbing up it. You might need to book an entry ticket for the falls or you can also get it at the counters at the entrance. Quebec residents are eligible for a discount in entry fare too!!

I would recommend to visit Quebec city during any weekend (minimum 2 days) so that you can checkout all the tourist attractions over there. You can also book for a guide or can take a bus tour around the city. And don't miss to take a cruise ride end of the day. If you are planning to visit the place & transit via public buses, then you must purchase an RTC opus card. I purchased a weekend pass which costs $16 per card and you can swipe it any number of times. In case if you don't have an RTC card you might need to spend $3.50 for each trip which will turn out bit expensive end of the day.

Best time to visit Quebec city would be in summer. If you get a chance to be there on St.Patrick's day then you are lucky to witness the parade near Chateau Frontenac.

Don't miss out any places. Do watch my video completely so that you will not miss any splendid beauty of the city!!

And if you like my videos please do subscribe it for free and also share your comments as well. It would be a great motivation for me to upload more videos in upcoming days.

Montmorency Falls (La Chute Montmorency) - Québec ???????? | 4K #montmorency #falls #waterfall #quebec

At 83 m (272.3') high, a full 30 m (98.4') taller than Niagara Falls, the Montmorency Falls are as spectacular a sight in the summer as in the winter.

They are located in a park of the same name only 15 minutes from Old Québec. This is one destination you will not want to miss, as it is where the St. Lawrence River stretches out not far from the base of the cliffs.

During your visit, you get to choose between wonder and adventure. Take a cable car to the top of the cliff to admire the falls from a unique vantage point. The view is breathtaking, even in the winter! Cross the suspended bridge to the belvedere, where you can feel the power of the river as it thunders past.

For the daredevil in you, follow one of the three via ferrata routes up the cliff, or zoom over the plunge pool on the double zipline 300 m (984') in the air.

You can also learn about the site's fascinating history at the interpretation centre. In the summer, you can have a picnic at the historical orchard and test your endurance by climbing the 487 steps of the panoramic staircase. Tourists with a fine palate will appreciate one of the best brunches in the region, served at the Montmorency Manor.
