Sa Pa is a small, mountain town in Lao Cai Province. It is one of the best places to visit in Vietnam. It is located about 350km northwest of Hanoi, close to the Chinese border. Home to different ethnic tribal groups, Sa Pa is very well known for its rice patties and mountain treks. My friend and I spent 3 days at Topas Ecolodge. It was such an unique experience that I had to share this.

Top 10 địa điểm du lịch miền núi phía Bắc đẹp tựa “tiên cảnh nhân gian”
1.Sapa Lào Cai – Thị trấn mờ sương giữa núi rừng Tây Bắc
Du lịch miền núi phía Bắc – Sapa được biết đến là xứ sở sương mù với phong cảnh hữu tình, mộng mơ, ẩn chứa bao điều kỳ diệu của cảnh sắc thiên nhiên, con người. Đến với Sapa để được chiêm ngưỡng vẻ đẹp hoang sơ của núi rừng hùng vĩ, những thửa ruộng bậc thang tầng tầng lớp lớp vàng ruộm chân trời. Tận hưởng bầu không khí trong lành và cảm nhận sự bình yên, giản dị của những bản làng ẩn hiện trong sương.
2.Mộc Châu – Điểm du lịch miền núi phía Bắc nhất định phải tới
Mộc Châu nổi tiếng với những nông trại bò sữa và đồi chè bạt ngàn, xanh ngát. Nơi đây có khí hậu mát mẻ quanh năm, không khí lại trong lành, luôn phảng phất thơm mùi cây cỏ, làm tâm hồn mệt mỏi bỗng chốc thấy thư thái nhẹ nhàng.
3.Du lịch miền núi phía Bắc – Cao nguyên đá Hà Giang
Không thể thiếu mặt khi điểm danh các địa điểm du lịch miền núi phía Bắc đó chính là Cao nguyên đá Hà Giang. Hà Giang là một tỉnh vùng cao phía Đông Bắc, là nơi địa đầu Tổ Quốc với điểm cuối là cột cờ Lũng Cú – Đồng Văn.
4. Tà Xùa, Sơn La – Du lịch miền núi phía Bắc
Nằm ở độ cao từ 1.500 – 1.800 mét so với mặt nước biển, nên Tà Xùa có khí hậu mát mẻ quanh năm. Bạn có thể đến Tà Xùa vào bất cứ thời điểm nào bạn thích. Tuy nhiên, nếu bạn muốn săn mây Tà Xùa, thích hợp nhất là tháng 10 năm trước đến tháng 4 năm sau. Muốn tránh cái nóng oi bức thì đi Tà Xùa vào mùa hè, muốn thử cái lạnh “cắt da cắt thịt” và đôi khi ngắm tuyết rơi thì đi Tà Xùa vào mùa đông. Nhìn chung thời tiết ở Tà Xùa là mát mẻ, se se lạnh.
Săn mây hiện nay đang là thú vui “hot” được giới trẻ nhắc đến rất nhiều. Theo đó, dân phượt thi nhau tìm đến các địa điểm săn mây trong đó có Tà Xùa để nhìn ngắm, chụp hình,… Theo kinh nghiệm săn mây Tà Xùa của rất nhiều người thì có nhiều nơi để bạn có thể săn mây như: ngay tại xã Tà Xùa, Xím Vàng, Háng Đồng, Sống Lưng Khủng Long,…
5. Du lịch Cao Bằng tham quan Thác Bản Giốc và suối Lênin
Không chỉ nổi tiếng bởi các địa danh lịch sử như: suối Lê Nin, hang Pác Bó mà Cao Bằng còn được thiên nhiên ưu ái ban tặng cho một danh lam thắng cảnh tuyệt vời, thu hút đông đảo khách du lịch, đó chính là Thác Bản Giốc – một trong số những thác thiên đường với vẻ đẹp hùng vĩ, hấp dẫn.
6. Y Tý – Du lịch miền núi phía Bắc
Y Tý là một xã vùng cao thuộc huyện Bát Xát, tỉnh Lào Cai. Y Tý nằm ở độ cao trên 2.000m, lưng tựa vào dãy núi Nhìu Cồ San, đỉnh Y Tý cao tới 2.660m, gần như quanh năm mây phủ.
7. Mai Châu Hòa Bình – Thung lũng nhỏ xinh
Mai Châu Hòa Bình là điểm du lịch hấp dẫn của vùng Tây Bắc. Không chỉ thu hút khách du lịch bởi cảnh quan núi rừng mà nơi đây còn níu chân người đến đây bởi sự thân thiện, ấm áp của tình người.
8. Simacai – nàng thơ miền sơn cước Tây Bắc
Si Ma Cai là một huyện biên giới phía Bắc thuộc tỉnh Lào Cai, nơi đây còn hoang vu và chưa phát triển, nhưng lại có những vẻ đẹp vô cùng kì diệu khiến những người yêu du lịch cứ nô nức về đây miệt mài tìm cõi mơ.
9. Mù Cang Chải Yên Bái – Biển vàng mùa lúa chín
Mù Cang Chải là một thị trấn nhỏ ở miền núi phía Tây tỉnh Yên Bái. Du khách tới đây sẽ có cơ hội tham quan thị trấn Tú Lệ, đèo Khau Phạ, ruộng bậc thang La Pán Tẩn, Bản Lìm Mông, Bản Thái…
Mù Cang Chải vào khoảng giữa tháng 9 đến tháng 10 sẽ là thời điểm lý tưởng để du khách tới tham quan bởi mùa lúa chín. Mù Cang Chải lúc này sẽ vàng rực một màu lúa. Bạn sẽ bị cuốn và đắm chìm trong cảnh sắc của nắng, của gió trời và mùi của lúa. Đến Mù Cang Chải và ngắm nhìn một “biển vàng” đang cuồn cuộn tỏa hương giữa đất trời bao la.
10. Điện Biên – Nhân chứng lịch sử
Vào những ngày đặc biệt như dịp lễ tết người ta thường nhớ về quá khứ để tưởng niệm để biết ơn đến những người đã khuất – những anh hùng lịch sử đã hi sinh tuổi trẻ, hạnh phúc của mình để bảo vệ và giữ gìn độc lập dân tộc.

Today we venture further North and further up into the highlands of SAPA. It is a very popular tourist destination for locals and foreigners alike because of the beautiful surroundings and as it's home to Vietnam's tallest mountain, MT. Fansipan (3100m).
However as I tour around I want to share with you why I am NOT the biggest fan of this place, yes it is beautiful, but it's also home to some touristy practices that leave me feeling sad and frustrated.
If you ware deciding on whether to visit Sapa or not, this video should hopefully answer that question.

Du lịch Sapa chưa bao giờ hết hot, đây là địa điểm nổi tiếng của miền Bắc với phong cảnh non nước hữu tình. 1/ Đỉnh núi Fansipan
Đỉnh núi Fansipan luôn tự hào là một trong những đỉnh núi cao nhất Đông Dương với độ cao trung bình 3143m và sẽ tuyệt vời hơn nếu bạn được một lần chạm tay đến cột mốc đặc biệt ở địa điểm tham quan Sapa này. Để làm được điều đó, bạn sẽ có hai cách để lên đỉnh núi đó là đi bộ leo núi hoặc đi cáp treo. Nếu chọn đi bộ leo núi, bạn sẽ phải mất tầm 2 đến 3 ngày mới chinh phục được đỉnh núi này. Còn nếu bạn chọn đi cáp treo, thì sẽ chỉ mất khoảng 15 phút là bạn đã lên đến tận đỉnh núi rồi.
2/ Bản Cát Cát
Một trong những địa điểm du lịch Sapa tiếp theo mà bạn không thể bỏ qua đó là bản Cát Cát. Nơi đây là một trong những bản nổi tiếng nhất ở Sapa và luôn thu hút được một lượng lớn du khách đến ghé qua tham quan hằng năm.
3/ Núi Hàm Rồng
Núi Hàm Rồng cũng là một trong những địa điểm du lịch nổi tiếng ở Sapa. Khi đến đây, các bạn sẽ được ngắm toàn bộ cảnh Sapa, thung lũng Mường Hoa, Sa Pả, Tả Phìn ẩn hiện trong làn sương khói như bị lạc vào vườn tiên, mây ùa kín thân người và rực rỡ ngàn hoa.
4/ Nhà thờ đá Sapa
Nhà thờ được xây dựng khoảng đầu những năm 90 của thế kỷ 20 mang một vẻ đẹp trầm mạc cùng với nét kiến trúc thiết kế độc đáo giữa trung tâm thị trấn nhộn nhịp đã tạo nên một nét đẹp khó quên đối với nhà thờ đá cổ Sapa này.
5/ Thung lũng Mường Hoa
Chắc hẳn bạn sẽ không còn xa lạ với địa điểm tiếp theo sau đây đó là thung lũng Mường Hoa.
6/ Đèo Ô Quy Hồ
Đèo Ô Quy Hồ được mệnh danh là con đèo hùng vĩ bậc nhất ở Sapa, là cầu nối giữa hai tỉnh Lào Cai và Lai Châu.
7/ Chợ tình Sapa
Chợ tình Sapa là một nét văn hóa đặc trưng của vùng đất Sapa. Đây chính là nơi hẹn hò của những cặp trai làng gái bản người Dao, người Mông.
8/ Cầu kính Rồng Mây
Cầu kính Rồng Mây được xem như là một trong những cây cầu kính cao nhất tại Việt Nam. Đây sẽ là một địa điểm du lịch sẽ thu hút được nhiều bạn và du khách có niềm yêu thích và đam mê bộ môn mạo hiểm này. Ngoài ra, ở đây có hai công trình chính đó là thang máy trong suốt và cầu kính.
9/ Thác Bạc
Thác Bạc một trong các địa điểm du lịch Sapa có cảnh quan đẹp và hoang sơ được nhiều du khách yêu thích nhất. Đây còn là một trong những con thác hùng vĩ được mẹ thiên nhiên ưu ái cho vùng đất Sapa này.

Sapa is a district-level town of Lào Cai Province, 380km northwest of Hanoi close to China border. Sapa is an incredibly picturesque town that lies in the Hoang Lien Son mountain range. Its surrounding region is host to many hill tribes, as well as rice terraces, lush vegetation, and Fansipan, the highest mountain in Vietnam. Many ethnic minorities live here such as H'mong (52%), Dao (25%), Kinh (15%), Tay (5%), Giay (2%) etc. This old French-built town with tropical forest and emerald rice terrace fields offers great adventure experience. When you come to Sapa, do not just stay in town area. Take a trek into this mountainous area, hike through ethnic minority villages, pass by terraced rice fields, meet with the locals and immerse into the nature and beauty of local culture.
In this video, I’ll share my transportation from Hanoi to Lao Cai, and to Sapa town. I started my expedition with self-guided tour to the Cat Cat village. Cat Cat village is an ethnic village of the Hmong people. It is located approximately 2km from the Sapa centre. It is best to walk to Cat Cat village as along the way, you will be able to spot many lovely cafes with breath-taking mountain views.
I have also visited the Fansipan mountain. Fansipan Mountain is often called The roof of Indochina with a height of 3,143m (10,312 feet) above sea level. It is the highest peak in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos combined. In the past, the only way to get to the summit of the mountain was by trekking and it could take 2-3 days. But today, Sunworld Fansipan Legend cable car system offers tourists train and cable car ride to the summit in just about 20min.
I have also tried the controversial, exotic and authentic local dish Thang Co. In Thang Co, the main ingredient is horsemeat, but in fact, Sapa local people cooks “Thang Co” by using cow, buffalo, or pork.
