An Tag 6 unserer Kroatienreise beginnt unsere Planung in Vincovci. Nach der gestrigen Regenfahrt nach Ilok mit unserer Ducati Multistrada v4s planten wir die heutige Tagesetappe bei durchaus solidem, trockenem Tourenwetter. Leider wurden wir auf unserer Fahrt dann doch von durchgehend leichtem bis starkem Regen heimgesucht, was unsere Originalroute und Zwischenstopps auch etwas einschränkte.
Unsere Reise entlang der Save, mit gemütlichen Pausen und unseren Stopp in Slavonski Brod wurden daher durch eher kurze wir ziehen einmal die Regenmontur an-Stops geprägt.
Auch unser Zwischenstopp in Jasenovac wurde aufgrund des durchgehenden Regens auf morgen verschoben.
Die Reise führte uns dennoch entlang der südlichen Grenze von Kroatien über die Orte Nova Gradiška, Novska bis nach Kutina. Wo wir unseren heutigen Stopp im King's Pub planten. Dort hatten wir ein sehr gemütliches Apartment welches allen Ansprüchen entsprach, die man sich nur vorstellen kann. Zusätzlich ist es auch noch ein sehr gemütliches Lokal (Restaurant, Pub) wo man sich durchaus einen perfekten Ausklang eines Motorrad-Reisetags vorstellen kann. Gemütliches Ambiente, sehr ähnlich einem Irish-Pub, tolle Einrichtung, Whiskey, gutes Essen. Dort war wirklich alles perfekt.
Sobald wir unser heutiges Tagesziel erreichten, stand somit eine heiße Dusche und ein wenig Erholung an.
Da sich meine Freundin nach der Dusche in einen Erholungsschlaf verabschiedete nutzte ich die Gelegenheit um die DTC Einstellungen des Motorrads ein wenig durchzutesten und somit alle meine Modis auf das DTC Setting 6 von 8 einzustellen. In dieser Einstellung gibt es immer noch genug Traktion um keine Performanceverluste akzeptieren zu müssen, vor allem bietet es aber das gewünscht Level an Sicherheit um bei allen Straßenverhältnissen optimalen Grip und dadurch auch optimale Sicherheit zu widerfahren.
Dem Pirelli Scorpion II habe ich bei Schlamm / Matsch / Gatsch etwas zu viel zugemutet und daher musste ich bei einer kleinen Schotterweg-Ausfahrt dann doch lieber den Retourgang einlegen. Alles in allem ein klassischer Regen-Touren-Tag der auf jeder längeren Motorradtour irgendwie dazu gehört. Wir haben ihn gut, munter, und nicht verkühlt überstanden.
Morgen an Tag 7 geht es weiter zu den Plitvicer Seen, daher mussten wir hier wegen der aktuellen Corona-Regeln unser Ticket schon im Voraus buchen. Welche Tour wir wandern werden, ist noch nicht fix, vermutlich wird es aber die 18 km Tagesetappe werden. Die uns auch einiges abverlangen wird. Mehr dazu aber im nächsten Video.
