I went on a 2 week trip to Japan over the winter break with my family. In this vlog, we take a trip down to Matsumoto, home to one of Japan's national treasures - Matsumoto-jo Castle. The highlight of our trip was our stay in Kusatsu Onsen, an town famed for its hot springs. We spent the night at a ryokan, a traditional Japanese inn. This video is a summary of our experiences!

Kusatsu Onsen | Visiting the Most Famous Hot Springs in Gunma

Three days, eight onsens. Yes I almost passed out at one point, but it was a risk I had to take and now my skin is silky smooth and i will be forever young (results unverified).

The three main onsen I visited in Kusatsu are:
-Sainokawara open-air bath
-Goza no yu
-Ohtaki no Yu

We’ve booked a car, we have 5 days, we’re in Gunma, and the leaves are turning red. Come with us as we explore this beautiful prefecture and its renowned onsens.
