Via de GR - grote routepaden.be kwam ik deze treinstapper tegen. Het leek mij een leuk idee om uit te proberen.
Mijn gratis gekregen railpas was nog niet veel gebruikt en dus ideaal om mijn treinrit op te noteren...
Helaas liep het even anders, maar de wandeling...nou...die heb ik wel volledig gedaan.

For my 21st birthday weekend, I decided to treat myself to a trip on the Eurostar, from London to Belgium and check out a few locations I've wanted to go to for some time!
There are 4 locations in this video: Gare de Silly, Halle, Ruisbroek & Brussels Midi!
All locations were great, and with beautiful scenery and a decent amount of traffic. Ruisbroek and Midi were probably the best out of the 4 locations because there was more going on compared to the others!
But all in all, an amazing trip! It was nice to see the Eurostar class 373s!
I don't know much about the types of trains in Belgium but, this video includes:
Eurostar: 373 'e300' & 374 'e320' | SNCB | TGV | Thalys.

Liège-Guillemins railway station is the main station of the city of Liège, the third largest city in Belgium. It is one of the most important hubs in the country and is one of the 4 Belgian stations on the high-speed rail network.
The first railway station of Liège-Guillemins was inaugurated in May 1842, linking the valley to the upper Ans station. In 1843, the first international railway connection was born, linking Liège to Aachen and Cologne.
The station was modernised and improved in 1882 and in 1905 for the World's Fair in Liège. This Beaux-Arts station was replaced in 1958 by a modern International style building that was used until June 2009, a few months before the opening of the new Calatrava-designed station. The second station was completely demolished to allow the completion of the remaining sections of the new station.
