Kanazawa is known in Japanese as the land of the Gold marshes and is a city off the beaten and tested Golden Route (Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima).
Gold can be found on most things such as Gold Leaf Curry, Gold Leaf Ice Cream straight to a temple played in Gold.
Known to be the equivalent of Kyoto for its vast amount of Tea Houses, Samurai districts and castles, it has its own international port, allowing visitors a great glimpse of this city by the sea of Japan.
Only a short relative distance away is the village of Shirakawago, in the outskirts of Gifu Prefecture and is the land of the World UNESCO Heritage, Gosshou Zukkuri.
Seeing how COVID19 has delayed travel execution, it gives more space for those who are interested in coming to a city that mixes countryside living with the friendliness of urban living.

From Kyoto to KANAZAWA | 2-day Japan Travel Itinerary: things to do, places to eat, travel tips
Planning a trip to Japan? One of the best decisions we made was adding one stop before heading back to Tokyo from Kyoto. Kanazawa, the capital of the Ishikawa prefecture, is a historical city with convenient access to Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto.

Toyama is a coastal city on Japan’s main island, Honshu. In the center, Toyama Castle Park has a restored castle dating to the 1500s, plus small museums of history and art.
The nearby Toyama Glass Art Museum displays striking contemporary works. Rakusui-tei is an art museum in a traditional home with a formal garden. On the Fugan Canal, Kansui Park has views of the distant Tateyama mountains.

Japanese Town You Must Visit | Takayama
This video shows some of the highlights of visiting Takayama in Gifu prefecture, Japan. We visited Japan in spring of 2019 and stayed in an Airbnb in the historic district of Takayama Japan for three nights. Compared to the busy cities of Kyoto and Tokyo, Takayama was quiet, much less crowded and rivals other historic cities with its impressive old Shinto shrines, Buddhist temples and beautiful surrounding mountainous nature.

Kanazawa is one of the famous travel destination of Ishikawa Prefecture, particularly for Kenrokuen, the beautiful Japanese garden, and Kanazawa Castle. This is a fantastic place to visit when the cherry blossoms are in bloom from March 25 to April 1.
Nagoya is located between Tokyo and Osaka. It is the largest city in Aichi Prefecture. There are lots of places for sightseeing like Nagoya and Inuyama Castle, Yamazakigawa Riverside, and different parks.

Komatsu is in the prefecture of Ishikawa and is really accessible via direct airport link OR via the Shinkansen/Thunderbird services that will take you to Kanazawa.
Right by the sea of Japan, Komatsu is part of the Ishikawa Prefecture, the land where the entire food is covered in Gold but what separates Komatsu as a peaceful sleepy town is the distinctiveness in their Kabuki Culture; home of Japan’s top 5 plays all played by young woman and girls where the Kabuki culture is dominated by men.
The entire area is starting to raise attention to its younger vibes where Takigahara and the co-op host foreign visitors alike for a life within the city but yet, be within nature in the vastness of the Hakusan mountain ranges.

Beauty of Japan that you've been looking for.
Komatsu city, located in the southwest of Ishikawa prefecture. With the sacred mountain Hakusan to the east, and the sea of Japan to the west, is blessed with beautiful scenery and abundance natural beauty. An area is 371 ㎢ and population of about 110,000 people.
Considering remains, the first footprint of the human is 20,000 years ago in Komatsu. Important remains ware excavated in Yayoi village in the 2,400 years ago. The clay of the Tumulus periods is also rare.
350 years ago, Maeda Toshitsune, the lord of Kaga, retired and moved to Komatsu castle. He pressed forward with urban maintenance.
The Chubu Region consists of nine prefectures and is located in the center of Japan.
In addition, excellent access to Tokyo, Kyoto and all other areas in Japan.

【北陸女ひとり旅】Lexi石川県の旅 那谷寺(小松市) 編 Natadera Temple, Komatsu City, Ishikawa, JAPAN
皆様、ごきげんよう。
本日はレクシィの一人旅石川県編 最終回、那谷寺編をお届けします。
那谷寺（なたでら）は、小松市に位置しています。創建は717年。泰澄大師が岩窟に千手観音を安置したのが起源と伝わっています。高野山真言宗別格本山です。
開山したときは巌谷寺と称されたそうですが、後に花山法皇が、西国三十三観音の一番「那智」と三十三番「谷汲」の山号から一字ずつを取り、「那谷寺」と山号が改められたそうです。
1300年間の歴史の中、那谷寺では白山を遥拝し、神仏を共にお祀りしてこれたとか。十一面千手観世音菩薩、白山比咩の神様、そして魂が生まれ清められるとされる自然の岩山洞窟をご本尊とされています。
残暑の厳しい中を参拝させていただきましたが、岩と緑が織りなす自然の美しさに、とても感動しました。秋になると紅葉がとても美しく、多くの方が訪れるとか。雪景色の境内も見てみたいものです。
皆様に長い歴史の息吹と、自然の素晴らしさがお伝え出来ましたら嬉しいです。
ちなみに、お寺全体を見て回られる場合は、所要時間は1時間ほど、スニーカーなど、滑りにくく歩きやすい靴をお勧めします。

Lexi posted the last video of Ishikawa journey. She visited Natadera Temple, Komatsu City.
In 717, a prominent Buddhist priest, Taicho Shonin came here because he was given a revelation by a Tennyo (heavenly maiden). He climbed to the top of Mt. Hakusan and prayed for the Deity of Shirayamahime-no-okami. Also, he worshipped the 11-face Guanyin Bodhisattva in the rock cave. It is said that was the begining of Natadera Temple.
For 1300 years, it has worshipped not only Buddhism, the 11-face Guan Yin Bodhisattva but Mt. Hakusan and rock cave where has been believed as a sacred place where the sprit is born and purified.
The precinct is huge and hilly. She recommended to bring a pair of walkable shoes to explore the temple.
