Ghatshila is a town in East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand, India. The city is located on the bank of the River Subarnarekha (the word ‘Subarnarekha’ means golden streak), and is situated in an undulating forested area. It has been a popular place frequented mostly by people from West Bengal, who have been going there for a change of place and climate. The noted Bengali writer Bibhuti Bhusan Bandopadhyay of Pather Panchali fame was a resident of the city. Raja Dhaval Deb's built three temples dedicated to Goddess Rankini (an incarnation of Goddess Durga)one at Rajdoha, another at Jamshedpur and the third at Rhoinibera village near Ghatshila. On the northern fringe of Ghatshila town one can climb the peak of Fuldungri to get a view of rolling hills and green valleys fading into the horizon. According to the legend if seperated lovers pray here, they get their partners back. Visit Burudih lake next to a tribal village settlement of mud huts painted with vibrant motifs just 17 kms off Fuldungri.

Badimalika, the dream destination, holy and beautiful. After making multiple plans to visit this beautiful destination year after year, we are finally in Badimalika. And once we were there, we found out the pictures of the landscapes we’re drooling about were actually Tribeni Patan.
We’ve also taken a different route to reach Badimalika. We went through Kalikot instead of the popular and known route which goes from Bajura. The reason we chose Kalikot is Mr. Chhapesh Bogati, who invited us for the trip. We spent a couple of days with his family in Mumra and had a great time.
The distance from Mumra to Badimalika is only 16 km. but the trails were treacherous. At one point, after Maurapani to be precise, we literally hiked through a cliff for about two hours. It was a near death experience with no trails and hundreds of meters to fall below. Nonetheless, after all the hardships, we were rewarded with the beautiful sight of Tribenipatan and the blessings of the holy Badimalika.

A Flight to Mount Everest + World’s Most Dangerous Airport - Lukla
Our helicopter was one of the first to take off at sunrise around 6:20am from Kathmandu Airport. There are many helicopter operators offering tours to see the majestic mountains in Nepal but there’s only a small window of season to do this. I’d recommend going in April or October when the weather is at its clearest and not so cold.
Lukla is the gateway to Mount Everest. There is no road so no car can get there. A flight to Lukla is 25 minutes on a fixed-wing airplane or 40 mins by helicopter. We arrived there at 7am.
We took off again after refueling and headed to Mt Everest, on the way we passed Namche Bazar, Syangboche airstrip, Khumbu Icefall…
Mount Everest is the one with the sharp peak with snow blowing at the top. We were almost at 20,000 ft but Mt Everest stood really tall from where our helicopter was. We were trying to get up to Camp 2 of Mt Everest which is the absolute limit of the helicopter.
We eventually landed at Kala Patthar. I was so frantically taking photos and videos and started to use the oxygen supply from the helicopter. Our next stop is the pristine Gokyo Lake. On the way, we saw the world’s highest glacier, Khumbu Glacier. It really amazes me how close we fly to those mountain terrains. After a brief stop on the lake, we headed towards the world’s highest hotel, hotel Everest view for breakfast.
The whole trip took about 5 hours. The cost of doing it is about $1200 per person sharing on the helicopter. Helicopters don’t just bring tourists, they also bring cargo and bring down sick and fatigue trekkers from the mountain down on a daily basis.

In this video, we start our ultimate taco tour of Mexico City bright and early with the Mexico City street food of basket tacos. We head to a 24 hour Mexican street food tacos taqueria for quesabirria. We continued our ultimate taco tour of Mexico City tasting some delicious and flavourful seafood and fish tacos, some meaty tacos de suadero and tacos de longaniza, as well as some tasty and modern smoked pork tacos. These pork belly tacos were out of this world. There’s nothing better than eating pork belly.
As night rolled in, we ate some late night tacos like tacos de tripa, tacos de lengua, and tacos de sesos. These tacos were a must on this Mexico food tour. We finished up our ultimate taco tour of Mexico City trying the most popular taco in Mexico City, pastor. Eating only Mexican street food tacos for 24 hours in CDMX was one of the highlights of our time in Mexico City!
