As one of the largest cities in the world and a super metropolis at that, there are over 160,000 restaurants to choose from. With limited time in Tokyo, the challenge then becomes picking which ones to go to on your visit. The other challenge is that there are also so many different types of food as well so you have to think strategically. While I certainly didn't get even close to going to all the food spots we had planned, I was very happy with all the restaurants we went to. What I've done is put together a top 9 list for all the amazing food we had and a behind the scenes look at why you should go and order.

While choosing only 10 from around 1,500 shrines is a nearly impossible task, we selected our Top 10 Shinto Shrines in Tokyo by taking into consideration their proximity to the center of the city, the size, the number of visitors, and the history.
