Whistler is a resort town in western British Columbia. It's Canada's most famous skiing and snowboarding destination.
13. Garibaldi Provincial Park
Located about 30 km or 18.6 mi to the south of Whistler, Garibaldi Provincial Park is known for its natural beauty and its endless hiking opportunities.

Daily Jasper Itinerary
► Day 1 - #columbiaicefields & #athabascafalls
On Day 1 in Jasper we are starting with perhaps the most famous site in the park: Athabasca Glacier AKA the Columbia Ice Fields! This ENORMOUS field of ice is an incredible site to see, and if you'd like to you can even take an excursion out onto the ice fields themselves! We chose to do a short hike right to the toe of the glacier, which was also very interesting because you can see how far the glacier's toe came out to over the years. The Columbia Ice Fields have been receding rapidly, so you'd better check them out as soon as possible! Athabasca Falls is a beautiful waterfall and has a bridge over the top of it! You can walk right over the waterfall as it thunderously roars beneath you.
► Day 2 - #cavellmeadows & #miettehotsprings
Cavell Meadows is a peaceful alpine meadow that offers the chance to see wildlife and the path of a glacier! You see a glacier on top of a mountain, in addition to the lake formed by that glacier. Miette Hot Springs is a warm natural spring that gives you the chance to relax and escape any cold weather you might have on your trip!
► Day 3 - #malignelake & #baldhillstrail
Maligne Lake is an enormous and stunning lake located inside Jasper National Park. One one side of the lake is a huge sawtooth mountain range, making this a perfect backdrop for a day on the lake. You can also hike at Maligne Lake, at the Bald Hills Trail, which takes you up to a stunning overlook of the area!
► Day 4 - #valleyof5lakes & #sunwaptafalls
Our single favorite place in Jasper National Park was the Valley of 5 Lakes! This incredible hike takes you to 5 lakes, each of which is more picturesque than the last. The lakes are as clear as glass and shine blue-green when you stand away from them. And you can cannonball into lake 5! Sunwapta Falls makes for a great last stop in Jasper National Park. The falls are extremely powerful and evoke a sense of awe at the beauty of this wilderness.

So far, this journey has taken us in a van ALL ACROSS the United States and Canada, from snorkeling with manatees in Florida to camping in the Grand Canyon to climbing glaciers in Canada, and everything in between! We were both working and going to school while living in Chicago in 2017 and 2018, and to be honest it really wore on us. We were exhausted, unfulfilled, and ready for an adventure. So, we made it happen! We saved up AS MUCH as we could over those 2 years - all homemade meals, no shopping, walk or bike everywhere, etc - and sold almost all of our belongings! With that money, we bought a renovated a van that we have been living in ever since! We started our YouTube channel a few weeks ago and have been loving creating videos! When we started, we were SO SO SO SO bad at it, and to be honest we still kinda suck, but we want to get better! What videos do you want to see? What do you want to know?
