Takamatsu is a port city on Japan’s Shikoku Island. It’s known for the sprawling Ritsurin Garden, with a teahouse, koi ponds, landscaped hills and pine forests.
To the east, atop Mount Yashima, Yashima-ji Temple offers panoramic views over the Seto Inland Sea. Nearby, Shikoku Village is an open-air museum with a collection of historical buildings from around the island. To the south are the hot springs of Shionoe.

Visiting Japan's Onsen Town| BEPPU CITY (別府市)| Travel Japan| Best Hot Spring Town
Bear with me as I show you lots of interesting spots around Beppu City. Located on the island of Kyushu in the southeastern side of Japan, Beppu is quite a fascinating place to visit. It's truly one of a kind. First to explore is the Meguri Jigoku or Beppu Hells - Umi Jigoku, Oniishi Bozu Jigoku, Kamado Jigoku, Oniyama Jigoku, Shiraike Jigoku, Chinoike Jigoku, and Tatsumaki Jigoku. The first five are located right next to each while Chinoike and Tatsumaki are a little out of the way. So, it's best to take the bus unless you have plenty of time and are up for a walk. And when in Beppu, you must try the Jigoku Mushi, food steaming using hot spring steam, in the Kannawa area. The experience is really worth it. All these can be done in a day.
Myoban area which can easily be reached by bus from Kannawa or even Beppu station is also worth visiting. Try having the best pudding at OkamoToya restaurant. I tell you it's truly mouthwatering. While in Myoban, explore the Myoban Yunosato, a cultural property. Their technique of harvesting crystallized hot spring gas dates back to the Edo era. These are then used to make cosmetics and bath essentials which are known for their beauty and healing effect. And while there, don't miss out on the chance to dip in their various onsen facilities - indoor and outdoor.
There are other exciting things to do and see in Beppu - sand bathing, walking around Beppu station, visiting the oldest onsen and sandbath house (Takegawara Hot Spring), eating Toriten at Toyoken (original Beppu chicken tempura), and strolling along the beach.
And never forget to pay the tourist information center a visit. You'll definitely get lots of ideas and more detailed information about Beppu.

Amazing Naruto Whirlpools : The World's Greatest Whirlpools In Tokushima, Japan
Naruto Whirlpools are the greatest whirlpool of the world.
The current in the Naruto Strait
The Naruto Strait has a maximum depth of about 100 meters and has very few obstructions for its current. This current is called the main current. On the other hand, on both sides of the main current are shallower waters where the current flows much more slowly.
The whirlpools occur when this main current and the slower currents on the coasts intersect with one another.
Size of the whirlpool
Larger whirlpools can be up to 20 meters in diameter.
When whirlpools occur, they appear, stay from a few seconds to less than a minute, and then disappear. This process repeats numerous times.
Considered as one of the three greatest currents in the world!
The current in the Naruto Strait is the fastest in Japan. The fastest the current can achieve is 10 knots (approximately 20 km/h) or more during the spring tide.
This current is on the same level as the Strait of Messina of Italy and the Seymour Narrows of Canada.
The fast current of the Naruto Strait occurs due to the changing of the tides caused by the gravity of the sun and moon. The high and low tides occur due to the gravitational pull of the sun and moon.
The best times to see the whirlpools are around one and a half hours before and after the current is fastest.
Days with spring tides are especially recommended.
You should check the best time slots on spring tide days and board the sightseeing boat then.
You will be able to see the grand sights and sounds of the whirlpools up close and be impressed at the awesome power of nature.

日本 In this video of the Japan Travel Guide - OSAKA CASTLE, I will take you through one of the most visited castles in Osaka, Japan!!
00:00- INTRO*
00:15- Getting off from the Tanimachi Yonchome Station right by the Osaka Museum of History, here is the map of the Osaka Castle Museum and the Osaka Castle Park.
00:25- Brick building is Osaka Museum of History or the Ōsaka Rekishi Hakubut-sukan which opened in 2003 and stands next to the NHK or the Nippon Hōsō Kyōkai.
00:48- BMX bikes.
01:25- The Hoenzaka iseki or simply the Hoenzaka warehouse. Standing on the posts, it was built in the 5th century with the Irimoya style roofing with a total of 16 such constructions here. It covers an area of about 90 square meters.
01:40- Open area right outside of museum.
01:44 - The NHK.
01:55- Beginning of Castle territory.
02:01- Impressive stone wall and the Inner Moat or the so called “ditch” that is filled with water surround the Osaka Castle. The moat stretches anywhere between 70 to 90 meters in width or approximately 230 to 295 ft in width.
02:59- Heading over across this bridge that’s above the moat, we are heading straight for the Otemon Gate.
03:10- Massive steel gate is about 8 inches thick (~20 cms).
03:24- The Otemon Gate.
03:54- The Sengan-Yagura Turret.
04:17- The Site of Taiko-Yagura Turret.
04:38- The sign describing the history of the “Sites of Minami-Shikirimon Gate and Takio-Yagura Turret.”
05:02- The green building is the “Shudokan” karate training area and the martial arts school which also utilizes kendo or the Japanese sword fighting techniques.
05:45- Heading over across the bridge that is right across the Shudokan, it is one of the two bridges to the castle across the moat. The other one being the Gokuraku-Bashi bridge.
06:08- The Sakura Gate leading to the Honmaru or the Inner Bailey with the original gate being destroyed in the Summer Siege of 1615 and rebuilt in 1626.
06:15- These walls are made from the Taiko-ishi or the octopus stone aka the Drum Rock.
06:21- The big building on the right is the Miraiza which is a souvenir store and a food area.
06:29- For a small fee you can dress up as a samurai, arm yourself with a sword, and take a picture.
06:41- The Osaka Castle which has been reconstructed (in 1665 due to being struck by lightning and burning down), was originally built in 1583 by a Samurai Toyotomi Hideyoshi Samurai, a Daimyo or a feudal lord in the early Meiji Period and a politician in the late Sengoku period.
07:12- Entrance costs 600 Japanese Y (~$5.58 USD).
07:31- Heading up the Castle's stairs.
07:56- The very top of the castle with spectacular view of Osaka. Inside, there are a total of 8 floors with some type of exhibit on each floor. The total height of the structure is about 192 feet or about 59 meters. The castle was in use between 1583 and 1845 for 262 years.
08:34- Looking directly down, you see the green roof which is part of the castle.
08:50- 360 degrees loop around the whole observation deck.
09:36- Brown field is the “Otemae water distribution plant” reservoir built in 1895. The blue skyscraper on the left is the 15m (~51ft) Crystal Tower.
10:28- A goldfish on roofs.
10:44- Green roofs is the current design that was chosen by the Toyotomi – remember he was the original builder of the castle.
11:05- Inside the castle.
11:25- The gold fish you saw on the roofs is this one and is one of the examples inside the castle that you can see.
11:33- Cannon and Kimmeisui Well.
11:49- Going along one of the walls notice how ginormous the rocks are at the base.
12:05- The Kimmeisui Well Roof was constructed in 1626 by Tokugawa Shogunate.
12:43- A couple of people who claimed they are from the Japanese Buddhist Temple. It just didn’t feel right for me to go tea tasting.
13:35- They did seem friendly and nice but being skeptical, I do like to research more about a business before jumping into somebody’s car.
14:21-This castle which is also the main tower sits on an impressive 15 acres (~61,000 sqr meters or ~657 thousand sqr ft).
15:07- The Miraiza.
15:26- The torii gates across the bridge that we used to enter the castle territory.
15:40- Temizuya or chozuya. Also a 5.2 meters or 17 ft bronze statue of Toyotomi Hideyoshi who originally built the Osaka Castle in 1583.
16:01- The territory of Hokoku-jinja Shrine or Hokoku Shrine built in honor of Toyotomi in 1879.
16:37- Ema - a little wooden plaques where you would write your wishes and prayers.
17:06- Heading NE from the shrine there is another torii gate.
17:25- Exiting main territory.
17:56- An area to pray and worship.
19:00- This is the Gangi-zaka Slope and the area is very beautiful with a park and the Chaen playground on the right side.
19:15- Aoyamon Gate.

Walk in Japanese famous Grocery (Seiyu) – 4K Virtual tour/Japan/Supermarket/Shopping/ASMR/Sushi
Here's one of Japan's famous supermarket, Seiyu, which has over 300 stores including their families in Japan. I personally think this store has a very well-stocked bento section.
Compared to local supermarkets, the prices are a bit higher because it is a major supplier, to be honest, but many Japanese people still visit this store out of trust and confidence.
This chain has been a subsidiary of Wal-Mart since 2005, and Wal-Mart continues to own about 15% of this chain's stock after the sale in 2021.

Ini adalah salah satu supermarket terkenal di Jepang, Seiyu, yang memiliki lebih dari 300 toko termasuk keluarga mereka di Jepang.
Menurut saya pribadi, toko ini memiliki bagian bento yang sangat lengkap.
일본에 가족을 포함해 300개 이상의 매장이 있는 일본의 유명한 슈퍼마켓 중 하나인 Seiyu가 있습니다.
개인적으로 이 가게에는 도시락 코너가 아주 잘 갖춰져 있다고 생각합니다.
