Inuyama Castle - Top 12 Oldest Castles in Japan - Japan Travel - JV GO

☞ Inuyama Castle is located on a hill overlooking the Kiso River in what is now the city of Inuyama. Inuyama Castle is often claimed without any historical justification as the oldest castle in Japan; however, Inuyama Castle is one of 12 castles to have retained its Edo period Tenshukaku intact. ☞ This main tower is small but due to its complex form, it shows different silhouettes depend on the angle. Among the 12 remaining main towers, the tenshu at Inuyama Castle is designated as a National Treasure of Japan,[2] as are Matsumoto Castle, Hikone Castle and Himeji Castle.

A day in my life | visiting Inuyama Aichi | Living alone in Japan digital diaries vlog

Turn on the subtitles! (i'm using youtube's auto-translate feature, so sorry if its a bit weird!)

Here is a short video of me trying my best to be happy living my life and do things that i THINK can makes me feel happy and trying to make this feels like a living alone in japan digital diaries vlog thingy. Im finally able to visit Inuyama Japan with friends and do a lot of stuffs! By do a lot of stuffs i mean eat a lot of foods lol Getting to the top of Inuyama castle was tiring because its on the 6 floor (was it???) and the stairs was so step it was scary to get to the upper floor and even getting down was worse. It was a really really cold day with strong wind that the only thing we can say was its cold why is it so cold god the wind please stop oh no the wind cold help. Despite us spending a kind of long day there, we didnt really spent a lot of money because everything was relatively cheap. I hope one day i could see this living alone in japan digital diaries thingy and remember how happy i was on this day the video was taken. Enjoy!

【4K】Inuyama Castle Tour (犬山城) - Japan Walking Tour

In today's Japan Walking Tour video, we'll take a relaxing walk and complete a virtual tour of Inuyama Castle by 2020.

Inuyama Castle (犬 山城) is located in Inuyama City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. The castle overlooks the Kiso River, which is the border between Aichi and Gifu Prefecture.

Inuyama Castle is one of the only five castles whose main relic is recognized as a national treasure. The remaining four castles are Himeji Castle, Matsumoto Castle, Hikone Castle and Matsue Castle.

The castle stands atop a small hill next to the Kiso River. The structure of the main sanctuary is built almost entirely of wood and stone, the interior is beautifully preserved and retains a sense of authenticity without the modern additions that the other castles have.

Around the castle, there are 2 temples, Sankoinari and Haritsuna Shrine, where many tourists visit when coming to the castle.

Let me know in the comments if you find something interesting about my trip :)
