～全線走破旅のルール～

Kagoshima Prefecture Library is located near Shiroyama.
It is a convenient to study in its silent rooms.
Many students study hard in this library every day!
Also, you can also get many travel information on Kagoshima in this library.
This library is surrounded by many historic sightseeing spots.
There is a statue of Mr. Takamori Saigo. He is from Kagoshima and famous as a hero of Meiji Restoration.
Kagoshima Castle (Tsurumaru Castle) is also interesting place to see. It had been the government of Kagoshima until Edo period.

2013 Myouenji Fest, Rifle Demo
During the 4th weekend of October, the Myounji shrine in Ijuin City, Kagoshima prefecture, holds a festival commemorating a 1-day forced march by retreating samurai following the battle of Sekigahara. There are various activities both Saturday and Sunday, and a 20 km (12 mile) walk from Terukuni Shrine in Kagoshima City to Ijuin. I did the walk in 3.5 hours, then hung around the festival grounds to watch some of the stage shows. This one is a historical recreation group demonstrating the rifles used during that battle. The camera is shaky because my legs were giving out and the crowd was cleared away from the chairs to prevent burns from the used wadding.
